The lady at the front is a delight to talk to. The food is great. The portions are generous and filling. Very clean establishment and a wide variety of drink options. I make my weekly stop here and they’ve always been consistently delicious to say the least. I’ve recently tried Ox tails for the first time and I extremely impressed. This place is a hidden gem outside of the Atlanta hustle and bustle. This place deserves 2 – 3 visits at minimum.

The food is pretty delicious. I loved the curry goat. The serving are pretty large so come hungry. The staff were very friendly and the music made you feel like you were on a tropic island, even if just for an hour. Their was ample parking. I am not familiar with the neighborhood but is seemed okay. I would definitely eat here again!

I’ve been here only once but decided to try by word of mouth. One word! AMAZING! It settled my craving. I was full and had lunch the next day! The owners are soooo sweet! Hey we’re out of cocoa bread when I went but oh well! I’ll still be going back!

Like the other reviews have mentioned it is really easy to miss. It’s apart of a strip mall and there is only one way in and one way out.
The service was great. Talkative and friendly.
I ordered the jerk chicken, with rice & beans along with a side of cabbage. It was ok. Nothing special. It was more spicy than flavorful. I wouldn’t recommend and I wouldn’t go back again.

This place is a hidden jewel for those of us who enjoy Caribbean food. I ordered the oxtail dinner. The meat was seasoned exceptionally well; as was the rice & peas and vegetables. My meal was absolutely superb compared to other places I’ve tried in the Stockbridge & McDonough area. I highly recommend M.Y.J.R not only because of their cuisine but also for the warm owner and staff that greeted me upon arrival.
