Where do I start, pizzas are ok. Salads are underfilled. They put sauce on chicken fingers and call it specialty chicken. Steaks tips are crap. Every time I’ve ordered the price keeps changing and going up. Quick delivery but rude employees. They screwed up my order and sat there yelling in greek, my friend who was with me also spoke greek and stupidly kept embarrassing themselves when she spoke up and they shut up. Completely takin back how rude they were.

This review is purely based on the kabob salads and dinners. The Greeks are famous for 3 things, roast beef, chicken kebabs, and gyros .all of witch are done flawlessly. That goes probably for most establishments. I am not a fan of Greek pizza just to set the record straight. Kebabs are grilled and not cheap on the chicken portion. House made dressing is fantastic, and I like the fact there’s plenty of feta and red onions, witch makes it in my opinion. Haven’t tried anything else from the menu, because they are so good.

Nick’s beside the broken glass needle«beach». Ah, this place is in a perfect spot to make a killing and I’m sure they do thanks to the beach and all the people next door at Sammy’s Patio getting wasted and watching live music. I hear there’s a decent deal of controversy regarding Nick’s Place(specifically Winthrop) but of the two time’s I have been to this location(revere beach blvd) I haven’t had a problem. It has one of those menu’s where there’s a lot of stuff. A lot of stuff I’d never order from a hole in the wall spot. But I’ve always figured fuck it, pizza is safe. Even when I have GI problems from pizza joints, I really can’t complain because chances are I was hammered and just wanted some mediocre pizza and didn’t care whatsoever about my personal health at the time. Twice I’ve gotten the 2 Large Cheese Pizzas for 15.99 deal. I went in there last night and tried to order one large for myself and my wife for later, but it amounted to somewhere around $ 11, so they kinda reel you in with the second one and I sprung for it to give the other to my bandmates next door at Sammy’s so I could take one home. The pizza– Thin crust with the standard rolled ends, a bit dry, but what do you want? Ever had«beach pizza» in NH? Yeah, this shit is a godsend compared to that half-assed crap. Super oily cheese(I suppose it isn’t the greatest quality), A very minimal layer of sauce. Ultra foldable like NYC slices. This place rates under the famous«really good bad pizza» term that my wife and I coined for places that come in clutch when you need it. I like it. Reheats well in the oven too because the oil in the cheese keeps it from being dry/burned. I see some people bitching about a little char on the bottom of the crust. Yeah, that happens here sometimes, but if you whine about that, you’d be up in arms about what they do to the bottom of pizzas in CT. $ 17 total after tax or whatever for 2 large pizzas in an interesting location. It’s a solid 3⁄5.

order was perfect and on time. food was great, the best gyro around, very saucy and good. chicken cutlet parm also very good. when some places are charging 3dollars for delivery, they charge 1.50, worth it! we will be ordering again soon… finally a place I seem to trust!

Don’t order anything for delivery. The pizza toppings end up in the corner of the box. They put items that are supposed to be cold into the hot bags.

I didn’t eat the food, I ordered for someone else, so my commentary is largely on the ordering process. Unilocal made it super easy to order from Nick’s and have it delivered to my boyfriend’s work in Revere. I was able to add notes and they sent me a confirmation email with my estimated delivery time(KEWL). A woman from Nick’s called me to confirm what kind of bread I wanted on the tuna melt, which I appreciated. Then, about 20 minutes later I got another call and a voicemail from a confused sounding guy. I called back and he couldn’t figure out where the food was going. I had put in the notes that it was for *boyfriend’s name* so that when he delivered it, my boyfriend would get his surprise lunch. Those notes apparently didn’t make it to the delivery driver, so he was totally lost and so was everyone at my boyfriend’s work, because no one had ordered, naturally. The guy had to go all the way back to Nick’s, then back to my boyfriend’s job, by which time it had been at least an hour since I ordered, and the food was a little on the lukewarm, soggy side. He said it was good and he ate it all, but it was $ 23 for a tuna melt, a coke, and a cup of soup, which I think is a little much for confused, hour-long lunch delivery. Would order again, but just don’t expect the world.

I’ve ordered delivery from Nick’s twice now through Foodler. My girlfriend’s condo is on Revere Beach Boulevard, so we are only a mile away. Too long to walk, too short to drive, so delivery is perfect for those lazy Sundays. I’ve never actually communicated with anyone from here, so I cannot comment on their customer service. They accept Foodler, which means no human interaction is necessary! I also like Foodler(and Grubhub) because it gives the restaurant a print out with your order which means it’s really hard for them to mess up your order — because it is printed on a piece of paper. My favorite diner food is a Cheeseburger Club and not a lot of pizza places have club sandwiches on their menu — except Nick’s. Both times I’ve ordered it and both times I’ve been delightfully satisfied. My girlfriend has tried their Meatball Sub and enjoyed it. The pizza was very meh. Definitely 3-stars for the pizza. Truth be told I never really order pizza from these types of places — just stick to sandwiches and subs. I love Greek people but I hate their interpretation of pizza. Both orders took 40 – 45 minutes to be delivered. In both instances I left delivery instructions for the driver, but they were not given to them(not sure if that’s a Foodler glitch). I always leave $ 5 for the driver through Foodler and they’ve never asked me for additional money like another review mentioned. I think a 2.5 star average is a little harsh for Nick’s. Would I order Tiramisu or Steak Tips from a pizza place on Revere Beach? Not so much. But for $ 20 I can have a couple tasty sandwiches brought directly to me while I crush Netflix — and I’m not going to complain about that.

«WARNING: location may employ babies dressed as adults» I ordered from here for delivery off Grubhub and when it arrived, I signed for it and the delivery man immediately went«NOTIP?!» and bolted off angry. If he like waited for I dunno, maybe 5 seconds before he stormed off like a child, I would’ve had the chance to pull out my wallet and give him the cash tip I had ready for him… So the only service I received from the restaurant was terrible. As for the food, I had ordered a pasta plate and it was really mediocre. You could do SO much better with the amount of food places that deliver in the area. Overall, just disappointing.

I’ve had Nick’s a couple of times now. I like their food it’s pretty good. Their Alfredo sauce isn’t as good as I make it at home from scratch. It could use a little more salt and garlic. The sausage with egg sub is great. I think their subs are pretty good. Next I will try their pizza.

A coworker of mine was raving about a teriyaki steak tip salad all week, so I decided to give it a try. I use foodler, and since Nick’s place is on there, I figured it would be easier that way. My coworker also has a foodler account and wanted to order a salad as well. So I ordered my teriyaki steak tip salad with the house dressing and received email confirmation immediately. 10 minutes later my coworker ordered the same salad plus a drink. 30 minutes later the delivery guy walks in with 1 order only; my coworkers. I mean, I understand places can get confused and mix orders up, so I called Nick’s when the delivery guy left. The girl that answered the phone was rude immediately, saying they thought both orders were the same. Mind you, my coworker and I have completely different names, although we ordered the same salad, we had different things added on and also one had a beverage and one didn’t. And if we did have duplicate orders(which we didn’t), why not send both? Both were paid for! They sent my order with the same delivery guy. Steak tips were flavorful but cold, which I didn’t understand if it was just made. One of the steak tips was completely raw and bleeding all over my soggy and wilted lettuce. AND they sent my «house dressing» aka a chunky Caesar salad dressing that is probably 1 hour away from becoming blue cheese dressing. Needless to say, this was my first and last time ordering from here. Such a shame too because I live close by and would’ve ordered all the time. Guess I’m sticking to Nonni’s and Alfredo’s Italian Kitchen.

I’ll be damned if I ever order food from Nick’s in my life. Their service is so painfully bad and the lady that answers the phone has a horrible attitude. Today I ordered food from them and I was happy to see that there was a coupon available for 50% off pasta on checkout which I promptly took and I usually pay with card but I had some cash with me so I went with that. The ticket on my email came to 19 something WITH tip included which I ALWAYS procure so I proceeded to wait for my food. 40 minutes went by and I was already impatient and really hungry, I figured they had a ton of orders but it was strange since Nick’s is literally 2 minutes away from my home. I could’ve waked over but I was tied up at home so chose to pay for delivery instead. When the guy FINALLY arrived he presented me with a ticket for 24 dollars which obviously I didn’t have and even though I showed him the receipt i got on my email he insisted I call the restaurant which I did, not only where they rude they also proceeded to tell me that it was a mistake on their part but that I DID need to pay for that. I stood my ground and told the lady that it was NOT my problem and she went on and on about how I had to and that they made a mistake and that the special for 50% off was on wednesdays now and they forgot to change it. That is NOT my problem, I have only ordered from Nick’s a couple of times and they ALWAYS mess up my order. I only got it when I’m in a rush and since it’s super close it’s fast/cheap food but somehow even that they manage to mess up. NOT ordering from Nick’s again and hopefully they don’t let more time pass by until they fix their mistake and stop trying to charge people MORE than what they should.

Ordered 3 orders of tiramisu and a roast beef sandwich from Nick’s for my friends and I. When we received the food, the tiramisu tasted like freezer burn. I’m not sure how long they had kept them for, but the mascarpone was completely frozen over and the lady fingers tasted stale. As for the sandwich, it was a junior size and I couldn’t get through a couple bites due to how awful it tasted. I am definitely not ordering from Nick’s again.

I waited over 1:40 minutes for my food to be delivered. Turns out they sent my food to another address, and they refused to take responsibility. Who seriously refuses to take responsibility for such a mental blunder. I live only 2 miles away too! An unbecoming and incredibly inept run business. Order your takeout somewhere else.

Went here for some food after spending a day at the beach. The chicken park sub was delicious and the onion rings were made really well. The prices were also fair for the portion size. On top of that, the speed of the service was great. Highly recommended!

For reasons unbeknownst to my wife and I, it took several months of living beside Nick’s Place for us to finally step inside the beachside pizzeria and give their food a shot. As we learned a few short moments later, this was a tragic mistake. We split a large roast beef sub, and we were in complete concurrence that it was one of the best sub shop sandwiches either of us had recently eaten. No sub shop is inherently worth driving to on its own merits. If you do find youself spending an afternoon on Revere Beach however, you would be remiss not to stop by Nick’s for a quick and delicious bite.

Disparate all the tough reviews I’m going to say this place is great. I ordered a BLT which I know is hard to mess up. My boyfriend got at buffalo chicken calzone and was in love. It wasn’t slimy with buffalo sauce and there was just the right amount of cheese. So if you give this place a chance it might surprise you.

Usually they were pretty decent, but recently the orders have been off and when we ask for certain things like blue cheese dressing, one would expect it, but no. They used to have very good buffalo chicken and wraps, but the last few orders have us looking for a new place. Sorry guys.

Tungjatjeta!(Greetings in Nick’s native land) Not a bad place to chow down after a long day at the beach. Kabob’s were good and portions were fair given the price. I will be back.
