One of the servers/waitress was super sarcastic. She is trying to be funny but this is Ihop not«Dick’s Last Resort» where they are mean intentionally. Rather not come here.

I know I can’t expect more from ihop but at least get a better manager and people who think a bit more. Whenever I go there I really don’t expect much I honestly just go for the food. This review is based on a to go order. I call up ihop spoke with a very friendly woman who took my order and explained that I must pay with a card over the phone in order to place my order. Totally cool with that. Gave her my info and all set. I go to pick up the order, it was during the week so it wasn’t jam packed. So I walk in clearly the only person waiting, the manager is standing right there on the computer acts like I’m not even standing there doesn’t even acknowledge me just nothing. The least you could say is hi.(I work in customer service so maybe I’m a bit picky with it) Finally this young girl comes over and I tell her I’m picking up and without asking me which was my order she tells me she needs my card because it didn’t go through because of the expiration date. I’m like ok I give her my card. I thought she knew which was my order. She charges me, I look at my receipt and its wayyy more than what my order was. I tell her and now I’m a bit upset because I’ve been charged twice. The nice lady who took my order walks up and explains to her that I was already charged. Thank God for that lady because she quickly gave me a refund for the charge that wasn’t mine and fixed the situation. So my point here is have better customer service and really pay attention and ask people what their order is so you don’t have unnecessary conflict.

It’s an IHOP. You shouldn’t have that many expectations on food and service. The food is greasy, heavy and flavorful for sure. Many of the waitresses are older so they tend to be nicer, more talkative and slower. Nothing beats breakfast at 2am though. So make sure to stop by and give this place some loving, since it has been through a lot in the past year. If I was you and want to come on a weekend I would come after 11am when the place has calmed down a tad; although when its busy thet really make that wait line move fast. Also, don’t forget to tip your waitress.

My boyfriend and I love this place!!! We went here about two Friday’s ago around 10pm I cannot remember the name of our waitress but she was spectacular and the biggest sweetheart. We sat in the smaller section on the right hand side when you walk in. The service was perfect and he food was excellent we can’t wait to come back :)

Open 24 hours. Yummy food. Fast service. If only they opened one like this in Downtown or Back Bay. I wouldn’t call it «cheap», but it’s not expensive. I got the breakfast sampler(eggs, bacon, sausage which I had switched out for more bacon, hash browns) and an iced coffee(really just coffee milk in ice). Split a plate of Swedish crepes with lingonberry jam and lingonberry cream cheese. Everything was so delicious and filling, and yet I felt like I didn’t overeat(didn’t get the itis/food coma after).

I used to hate coming to this location: my food used to always be burnt, service was careless and miserable. Recently however I noticed that the food is consistent and well prepared, and service is charming, funny, and engaging. Nice change

What can you expect more at an IHOP? Not much LOL. Last time I was here was back before it was shut down, but not they made a way better improvements on their interior. Very noice and more modern. It smells a little funky in here doe. Walking in it just smells weird. I can’t describe what it is but it’s not pleasant I can tell you. Food on the other hand is pretty decent! Nothing too crazy, especially for a BLTLOL. Can’t really mess that up. Bread was a tiny bit burnt but nothing a little scraping couldn’t do.

First time in ihob, was fun. Pancake only for 4 $. The food is delicious, the quality is average. This place is 24 hours open. I would go there again like once a year. Plenty of parkings and the address is straight forward.

One of the best, if not, the best ihop I’ve been to. All of the staff are great. Tiarra is an awesome waitress and definitely knows how to make people’s day. She goes the extra mile. The food quality here is also superb. I always leave here full and happy. Highly recommend this location, among the Saugus and Cambridge locations!

I am so glad they’re open again! 1 of my favorite breakfast place beside Nick’s breakfast! The service staff are very nice people, acommodating & they make sure that we’re OK w/everything! The food is always good here altho their poach eggs a bit over cooked but I still eat it! I’m happy and satisfied!

I’ve been going to the Revere, MAIHOP for years. It’s always packed on a weekend, but lately what was a smoothly run operation — moving the crowd along at a good clip — has become incredibly disorganized since they reopened a few months ago after a fire. Could it be the addition of a new manager — older man, wears glasses — that I never saw until recently? He seems to confuse his servers more than help them and the result is bad customer service. Longer waits for service at every turn — placing and getting orders, waiting for checks and getting them paid. The food is fairly universal at IHOP so why put up with bad management when you can get the same thing elsewhere? I’m ready to try another branch — at least until they hire a new manager.

I came here on a Tuesday late afternoon with my brother. I ordered the strawberry banana French toast and he got the mushroom Swiss burger with fries. The food was alright. But the service could’ve been better. I think our server name was Bettie? That’s what it said on the receipt. I wouldn’t know if it was her because she never introduced herself. She had blonde hair with red lipstick. I wouldn’t come back here again. Only in Salem.

I dont know about weekdays, but on weekend is always packed during brunch, but 15−20min. wait isn’t bad. Gotta give them a prop for opening 24hrs. This place seems huge from the outside, but inside is crampy. The food is consistent, crêpe, pancakes, omelette, harsh brown, breakfast meats, burgers are good. Our plates are always hot when it got to us. What i dislike is the sausage has too much fat, and the french toast is dried. The boysenberry syrup is delicious, tastes very natural and not too sweet. Their hot coffee is unlimited for just $ 2.29 per person which sounds like a good deal, but i find it is watery. I’m a bit disappointed that they don’t serve cappuccino, it would be nice if they could add it to the menu, I’m sure many people would order it. Staff are attentive, energenic, and friendly. They seem happy to serve and take good care of their customers.

Finally they reopen. I think this is the best location of IHOP. It is 24⁄7 too

Temporarily closed not due to a health code violation but recovering from a fire! Have gone in with my two very, very young daughters and they did everything possible to help me not bother other customers(=keep kids happy!) and have a nice experience in the same breath. Usually there is a thing on their receipt where if you answer a survey you get a free small plate of pancakes or something on the next visit(if I remember correctly). There was a fire at this location-horrified to see it on the local news earlier this year-, and when I went by today in mid June 2014 I see it is still closed. I wrote to customer service from their website and they replied that they will publicize the opening about 60 days before it reopens. See bottom of review. Every time I have come in, the waitresses are exceptional. The food is FANTASTIC. Not healthy, but wonderful hearty comfort food. I love it here and it’s worth the trip. I always bring food home with me, it’s too much. I love the cheesecake strawberry pancakes best but they are seasonal item. This is definitely my northern favorite place equivalent to Waffle House. Limited parking is unfortunate. I would definitely recommend to avoid«rush hours» of when people sometimes eat(like, Sat at 10 am). Birthday club(email sign up) gives you something like $ 10 credit towards a delicious breakfast, it’s a really nice treat! From today, customer service replied to my email inquiring about the fire: …“As you know, the location experienced some damages from the fire, and the Franchise who owns and operates the Revere location is currently assessing the damages. We are not for certain of the reopening, I encourage you to check back with us. Normally we are provided information at least 60 days out of an opening.”

I don’t usually go out to eat for breakfast, since I can make breakfast better at home. AND if I do go out for breakfast, its usually late at night BUT one hot Sunday the roommate and I decide to go out for once. Since most of the Bickford’s are gone(or now are«Bickford’s Grille», which isn’t the same) we decided to go to the IHOP near us on Squire Road. I’ve been here before and its always ‘meh. Its a typical greasy spoon style place. Not terribly good, but not terribly bad either. BUT since this is it for options in our area after Midnight besides fast food, I’ve been here before. This store is an old store, with the long slanted roofs, so seating is limited inside.(As busy as this store is, you’d think IHOP or the franchiser would make it bigger or move to a bigger location), but I digress. This trip the store was as busy, and we were going at 1:30pm to avoid the church and lunch crowds. But then again considering the size of this store, every table is precious and always filled. We waited a couple minutes to be seated. Not because the store was full(there were a few open tables) but because the staff was too busy talking about store/customer drama. Mind you, were standing right at the hostess booth, and staff was there, and they just continued to talk. Finally we sat down, and we looked at our menus. The table was clean, but the sugar packet box was nearly empty and the syrup containers needed a good wash.(crusty!). She took our order quickly(we knew what we wanted anyways) But we had to keep asking her for stuff… No silverware, no coffee cups, no napkins, no ice water. on the table. Then we got our food, no real issues there. Fresh, hot, typical IHOP fare. And we didn’t wait long either. The waitress was okay, again, like the hostess earlier, the staff was more interested in talking to each other than helping customers. And it was just the wait staff, not the cooks.(as the food was good!). I understand that the store is small and there’s no real place to have a private conversation but because the place is so small, you can hear everything! Overall, I’ll be back. I always am. The food’s good and that’s what matters. And I remember. most of the time I come here, its not to sit and eat, but to get food to go OR Its late at night with a group of buddies, so you don’t mind if the service is awful. So I’m giving it three stars… not to good, but not terrible either.

Whenever I decide to skip class, I always come to IHOP on Squire Road. The food is great, the service is awesome. I love the old ladies who wait on you because they’re so talkative and nice and very punctual with checking up on you and actually caring about how your meal is. The last time I came, I ordered a coke and she brought me an orange juice instead. Now the way I saw it. hey, healthier right? So I didn’t say anything and gladly accepted it. then a few minutes later she came back and said that she realized her mistake and gave me the coke I asked for earlier and told me to keep the OJ free of charge. How awesome was that? I made sure I gave her a good tip. The only downsides are that this place is ALWAYSBUSY! But that goes to show you that it’s a good place because people keep coming back. For the most part, it’s clean. The hostess was very nice too. I kind of made a fool of myself when she asked me «how many people» and I said«I’m single» to which she looks at me. laughs and says«I never had anyone tell me their relationship status at a restaurant». I almost died of embarrassment.

I usually LOVE Ihop, I mean who doesnt love Pancakes at all hours of the day… Well my 2 year old has adopted this new love for Waffles & we were out one night last week & I glanced at the clock & realized«Oh Shoot, Forget to feed the kid», then asked him what he wanted & he said«Wasshles», so off to Ihop we went… There were 3 other parties in the restaurant so I was thinking, great… Good service, no one here — wont be too hectic… Our waitress had absolutely NO personality, I mean not even rude, just not one at all… I made the usual me type small talk & joked & no smile or chuckle of relating… Just no response… My son was even ever so cutely yelling Wasshles at her & she was like«Ok yeah he wants waffles»… That was a bummer, but other than that — Its Ihop, You know what to expect. Good cheap brefix & overpriced coffee &OJ…

Welcome to IHOP! This place is about as dated as it looks. My favorite is still the Big Apple Pancake. You can’t go wrong with any egg order either. IHOP’s, much like«drunk pizza», is only truly good very, very late at night.
