The absolute worst!!! I dropped off a coat to be fixed cleaned and waterproofed. They never waterproofed it. I talked to the Kim’s multiple times. I was assured my coat would be taken to their other location to be finished(This Reston store is a deserted wasteland no one is working there except the one girl at the front and THEREISNOHEATINTHEBUILDING). The girl at the front who usually can’t find your clothing said the driver refused to take my coat even after the Kims assured me it would be handled… My coat was at Soapstone for 6 weeks. I finally paid for it and took it to Fox Mill Cleaners to be waterproofed. Got it back from Fox Mill in 2 days!

I had taken many garments to this place for cleaning and alterations. The alterations were very good. However, the last couple of times I went in with dry cleaning and laundry service for dress shirts were a mess! First, the girl who was playing the role of cashier, could not speak English well enough to help anyone. Second, she could not read the ticket. Third, once she finally figured it out, she couldn’t find the garment. I had to go back twice more to get our clothing. When I went in the last time, she(same girl) had a back up of customers and she was the only one there. Three people in front of me were told their clothing was not there… apparently, they had dropped off their clothing a week or more earlier. When it was my turn, after 20 minutes of looking, she found my clothing. I had my ticket with me which said I owed $ 43. 65. However, she insisted I owed an additional $ 63.25 for clothing I supposedly had brought in for cleaning in August. I had no such ticket and they could not find anything in my name. I asked her for the owners name and phone number only to be told she didn’t know who the owner was and had no phone number. After doing some pretty stern talking, she produced a phone number. I called and was told to «go ahead and pay». I immediately had a lot to say! I demanded she meet me at the cleaners the following day at 1PM. She agreed to do so. But you can guess who did not show up! I drove by again recently and it appears they are going out of business! All I have to say is… Goodbye! I will never take anything back to this place nor do I recommend it to anyone for anything!

I am officially done with this place. First off, the humidity in here is intolerable for anyone having to go in and pick up their cleaning under normal circumstances. Nevermind the wait I always encounter due to the fact the cashier never knows what she’s doing. I always get held up and i get my hair done every week and I cannot anymore risk walking out of here with my hair undone as a result of the ridiculous humidity. This is so extreme, the working conditions are horrid for anyone working here. I can’t imagine spending an entire day multiple times a week in that extreme heat and humidity. I should not get held up everytime I go in here when I am the ONLYCUSTOMER. It always takes TWOPEOPLE to ring me up. The girl at the counter always messes up and today I noticed TWOBANKCHARGES on my account — one for less than $ 1 that should NOT have been charged. I signed ONESLIP. So clearly, this girl rang me up as a credit first before she needed«help» from the manager to ring me up again charging me the price on the receipt. I’m done after this week. Too bad, because it’s the closest dry cleaner to my residence but they need to get it together and I normally do not complain about retail clerks. This is ridiculous. I sweat and fan myself everytime i go in this place. I can no longer endure it. No customer should come undone entering a place for 2 – 5 minutes due to this humidity. I pay too much money to get my hair styled every week to then have to pick up my regular weekly dry cleaning to end up a hot mess and no one should have to strategically plan when to pick up their dry cleaning to fall in line with a hair appointment either. I was attracted by the 20% discount on 5 items or more. I called to inquire about price of suits, pants, etc. before going since I don’t like surprises. I took clothes and did not look at charge till I return to pick up. Charge was higher than she quoted I inquired and asked why. She said it was because it had a spot. I never heard of this in my life. Then, when I examine my daughter’s new suit, the button had been broken. The owner said she would try to fix. I came in next day and she had done nothing and said the button structure was too weak and I should return the suit. I will not be returning to this place.
