I went to Jerry’s on Thursday(6⁄23) for a Cheese Steak, now I traveled from Norfolk Virginia to visit my son. The last time I was here I went and the sandwich was great. Yesterday when I went in it wasn’t crowded. I ordered my sandwich which they proceeded to make incorrect. When the sandwich was remade the sandwich was sloppy, the bread was burnt and I was greatly disappointed. Someone I know is boycotting Jerry’s and I’m trying to convince them that they are wrong. With the experience yesterday I have to agree with them. I’m not sure if I will go back to Jerry’s. I traveled too far for such a disappointment. Jerry’s is my usual go to place when I come to visit.

Horrible in every way. Subs way too skimpy, employees depressed, incompetent, uncommunicative… and get orders wrong. Too often out of ingredients; somebody evidently forgot to order from suppliers. This place cannot stay in business if it continues like this. Was a constant customer of Jerry’s for years… but, won’t go to this sad location.

I came in at lunch time and their register was down. I was standing back reading the menu and the person in front of me(honestly couldn’t tell if he was a customer or worked there, by the way he and the guy at the register were speaking to each other it seemed like they were friends?) kept gesturing for me to go when I was clearly still making a decision… when I was finally ready the guy at the broken register was on the phone trying to figure out how to fix it, and a woman was standing at his elbow watching the process. He told her to help me, but she just looked at me and continued to be silently involved in what he was doing instead, completely ignoring me until he was off the phone. The food was fine but the mushrooms didn’t seem cooked, and I wish they had a bigger selection for chips instead of just one kind. A couple of outdoor seats would be great too. I hope they shape up because there are very few places to get a good cheesesteak around here!

Horrible customer service. We ordered our pizza to-go and asked for a couple plates because we wanted to eat outside in a nearby plaza, but they said(they didn’t actually speak, more so gestured with their hands) they were out of plates… what? One, how can you be out of plates in the early evening and two, you speak English! If you’re gonna lie and tell me you have no plates, then say it– don’t gesture at me. Also, the pizza had barely any marinara. So that sucked too.

I used to frequent this place a lot and was always impressed. But a few years ago that changed. the food sometimes is very good other times its awful. twice recently I had to have them remake my pizza because it was over cooked and cheese was black. Twice also on recent Mondays they were closed with no explanation(and there phone has no automation at all… just rings and rings when they are closed) and that is my family’s preferred night because of the good deal. I’ve tried the delivery and its not worth the wait. On my most recent trip there I placed an order and arrived late to pick it up just to find that they only made two of my three pizzas because the dough was«frozen». I tried to order a different pizza but was told dough is frozen and there was nothing they could do… this was around 6:30 on a Monday night… well before closing time… I will not be returning… too many bad experiences. two stars only cuz I still like jerrys food in general

Same experience as Brian B. We ordered online and wet to pick up the pizza 30 minutes later. Husband arrived, waited 45 minutes and still no pizza(so over an hour since we placed the order). They kept saying, it will be out soon. Someone finally comes out and says they forgot to put pepperoni on the pizza and so it was just cheese. Did he want to wait while they put it through again??? Are you kidding me? What makes it so bad is that they didn’t want to refund his money even though he just asked to get his $ 40 back and leave. Seriously, the service was so bad it was mind boggling. This place ain’t great, but I let the management know about my issue and they were able to correct it. I appreciated the level of kindness and support that Jerry’s management showed me, and that goes a long way in terms of customer satisfaction. If you’re looking for a big, greasy cheesesteak, Jerry’s is the place to be.

I have to say I love this place. Very clean and modern. The employees are very nice and friendly. And the food is surprisingly excellent. A great casual spot for good food! I’ll definitely be bringing my family, friends, and teams here often. This is a great location with plenty of parking. Triple meat sub was delicious!!!

Food is great. People are nice. Delivery was pretty slow(I’ve canceled an order before), but they’ve changed things. I had gotten the wrong order 3 out of the last 4 times I had ordered.(Including the day I wrote my original review, but the past several orders have all been perfect! I do think the inside of the restaurant needs a bit of a touchup, but it is clean. Like I stated before, the food is great when you get it(which now is every time). I no longer have to be willing to accept the bad service, because of the food. Now it’s the best of both worlds! Yummy food, super friendly customer service, and my exact delivery.

Not sure why they offer delivery service. Ordered online and called an hour after order was placed to be told delivery is 45 – 60 minutes and my order was leaving the restaurant. I said if it’s just now leaving then you’re not meeting your own time frame since it’s already been more than an hour since I placed the order. When I got flack back I asked to speak to the manager and was then told I was already speaking to him(really? where did you learn customer service skills?). So then I get my order, only to open the bag and find an open container of ketchup had soaked through everything in the bag, including the brownies, even though they were in there own separate, flimsy bag. Oh and did I mention Everything was Cold??? No sense in calling to complain since the«manager» won’t think there’s anything wrong with my getting a basically inedible order. I’ve never been to this particular location but I learned my lesson tonight. Don’t order delivery from Jerry’s at Northpoint.

The smell of alcohol in the cashiers breath is unbearable and let’s not speak about the strong smell of marihuana in the store. Unhygienic and disrespectful to the customers. Especially those with children. As of the food, can you trust an intoxicated person to cook your food? I’ve been eating here for a very long time, and in the past few months I’ve had nothing but bad customer service(people screaming at each other, playing around, customer waits for 20mins + for a sub) and low quality on the food(over toasted bread, dried out carrots) Really disappointing

Sandwiches are delicious, we’ve tried signature cheesesteaks, famous and big boy cheesesteaks which are delicious. I didn’t think much of the place until I tried them. Surprisingly good, better than subway for sure but more pricey. Inside is small, and these ridiculous red lights gotta go. Why do they have these red lights anyway?!? Why?!? lol service can be improved and more clean inside. Tables are dirty and slow service. I have not yet tried their pizza but def will next time

One hour and 47 minutes later and still no pizza. When I call the store, the person keeps saying the pizza is on its way(they’ve been saying that for over an hour). I don’t even know the quality of the food since Jerry’s never actually delivered my pizza! The pizza finally arrived after 2 hours. It was cold and I didn’t even receive an apology or excuse. The store manager offered me 50% off my next order(didn’t even offer to replace the pizza). Update 11/11/2015 I’ve tried ordering two more times. One time, they would not honor their own coupon(cancelled my order) and one more time I ordered from their website and never received the pizza. When I called, I was told it was on its way. It never showed up. This has to be the most irresponsibly run pizza shop I’ve ever had the misfortune to call.

This place used to be good. not sure what happened aside from the bad service. I stopped in here after a year or so off with my mouth watering for a small supreme pizza to get a meat lovers pizza. NOGREENPEPPERS, NOONIONS, ALLMEATANDTHICKCRUST which is NOT what I used to get here. My friends got subs… so bad they wouldn’t finish them. horrible service. Had to wait for 15 minutes and the new cashier has no clue. got every order wrong. Meanwhile the man in the back had an attitude and the whole dining area had to overhear his conversation with someone on a phone call how upset he was the other person was late and he was stuck there… WITHANATTITUDEATTHAT. Didn’t expect much from this place when I saw reviews and cheesy décor. I have to say I’m impressed. First of all let me say the service I received was a huge plus. Super friendly Dodger fan I presume the owner of manager was awesome and even gave me free fries! I had the ultimate cheesesteak which was really good. It had three types of cheese on it and the bread was super fresh. I also had the Mama Mia pizza which has huge thick pieces of pepperoni on it. Very flavorful pizza. The dough is just so so but the prices are great!

We tried to get dinner from there tonight and we were on a rush so we called ahead. We get there and apparently they gave our order to someone else accidentally. We waited for 15 minutes for our food and it still wasn’t ready, so we asked for our money to be refunded. Once they did that, that was it. And the people who came in after us got their food right after they voided our check. I cannot stress enough of how badly they handled this and I recommend that no one should go there unless you want bad customer service and to be forgetten about.

Had a «re-opening» almost a year ago and since they came under new management, It’s been a world of difference. Every thing has improved. Store looks better, service is quick and attentive, and most importantly. The quality of the food is much better. If you had a bad experience in the past, check out the new guys. Your opinion will probably change.

My girl and I got food poisoning here yesterday. I have a cast iron stomach, I can eat anything. And I got sick from this $ 6 monday special. And I have eaten many meals on the road, 7 – 11, wawa, I travel a lot. This place is bad, very bad.
