Clark Clark & Sapperstein DDS

This office now called Clark, Delaney, & Tsang. I would avoid them at all costs. Especially if you don’t want any unexpected bills. I went in for my regular 6 month check up and the hygienist said it was time for my xrays. Next thing I know I was getting a bill. It was only for $ 70 dollars luckily not $ 700 but I called my insurance because normal check ups with in-​network dentists are covered at 100%. The insurance said they took my xrays too soon. I called and Dr Clark basically said it was my responsibility to know what my coverage was. I have never heard of such a thing. This was a regular check up. My dentists have always known my coverage of what is covered and when. To me this was very shady. This was not my first time at the dentist and I’ve never had to call ahead prior to my appointment and find out what the dentist had planned and then call my insurance to make sure it’s all covered prior to my appointment. Which is essentially what Dr Clarke was telling my I should do. I HAVE NEVER HAD TO DO MY OWN PRE-​AUTHORIZATIONS! STAY FAR FAR AWAY! THESE PEOPLE ARE SHADY!

Back when it was «Sapperstein», Sapperstein was TOP NOTCH. Clark and Clark are also top notch, but they went through a brief period where the third dentist was less than top notch (one former Navy dentist, who apparently never had to worry about malpractice suits while IN the Navy). High marks, nevertheless, as C & C were themselves fantastic!
