This place is great! Great service and spacious as hell. I stopped in for a Bloody Mary since they open at 10am and it was delicious and cheap. Great bar

FORMERLY Webers bar and Grill as seen on Spike TV show «Bar Rescue» now known as the «Canby» located in Reseda California. I spent a few minutes there ask the bartender to make something that he thought I would enjoy with fresh fruit. Don’t know if I can give what I was made a name but delicious is not the word.
Always drink what the mixologist recommends…

After a long break to avoid the unfortunately sketchiness that had developed since The Canby moved from across the street into the old Weber’s location, I returned to show support for my friend Andy at one of his karaōke shows. I am pleased to say that the crowd was energized and friendly, and none of the negative energy of the past was evident. Security was visible in front of, behind and inside the bam, although not in an uncomfortable fashion. I felt welcomed and safe, and am glad to see that the owners have taken several steps to make The Canby safe and welcoming once more.

The Dj was amazing!!! I had the most amazing time! It’s so roomy ! And really good drinks

The only reason I’ve been back to this bar after being mistreated by Maria (the witch) is because it’s in a convenient location other than that too many weirdos walking in and out of this place including the owner who by the way was smoking in the bar this lady has no class no manners nothing

The bar owner Maria let me get assaulted by a regular and then had me thrown out. I wish I could give zero stars but it isn’t possible. She is known for letting her regulars run the show. There has been drama on numerous occasions where she lets her regulars dictate what happens. She is a horrible owner who caters to men only no matter how the women are treated. I would not recommend this bar because she will blame you when all you do is defend yourself.

unfortunately you can’t post a negative star review. This place will hopefully shut down as soon as possible so all the human cockroaches that horrible vibe here attracts will scatter. Reseda is a bitchin place, and this place is in a great location and has amazing potential.
During the day it’s pretty mellow. The usual old timers. A new group than the ones from when it was across the street and had a pretty cool vibe. Even those oldtimers realized what a s!#t hole it’s become. I helped keep the doors open with my patronage at the old spot by hanging almost every day and night for years, never mind the fresh-​out-​of-​prison vato who pulled a pencil on me when I caught him messing with my motorcycle one night (another waste off flesh this bar attracts).
THE OWNER/“bartender” (good luck getting a drink within 20 min) IS A HORRIBLE HUMAN BEING, AND A MASSIVE, MISERABLE C#!+T NAMED MARIA. So, that is the type of people you can expect to be there. Didn’t go there for years, but try to give it a chance every now and then since its in my area. Never again. If you need a decent dive bar, because we love them, try the Ujpest. The Sugarmill is very cool too. DO NOT EVER GO HERE. If anyone knows a way to get this place shut down PLEASE lets do it. We deserve a chill hangout. THIS PLACE MUST GO !

The older lady behind the bar is horrible. 40 min to get my order. Then to tell me she doesn’t have what I ordered. There out. Why didn’t she tell me that when I ordered it. Then she brought me something that was not what I ordered and when I said that’s not what I ordered she got mad and stormed off. Leaving a line of people at the bar for 20 min. Then cam back and told me no one ever orders what I ordered from the menu. How is that my fault. If they don’t serve it anymore it should be on the menu or she shpuld have told me when I placed my order. Huge line off angry customers at the bar all waiting to place there order. She just walked outside and didn’t come back. It’s been an hr the bar has been un attended.

Bad bad bad. the old canby was cool. but they bit off more than they can chew! Downhill crap! It is really a shame.

Had a great time listening to live music service was exceptional. Smiling helped I think. Anyway think I’ll come back

This place is bad, the ambience sucks, such a nice layout to go to waste, if you’re a smoker you’ll like it since they don’t care if people smoke right outside the door.

This place is a DIVE bar, it’s great for going with friends and having fun! You should come here if you want good cheap drinks and don’t give a hoot. It’s fun, the staff has always been friendly.

Drinks are sooo cheap!!! Two pool tables, food, live music/​DJ. Been here twice this month and I definitely see myself coming here regularly. Emery is a great bartender. I’m glad I came here last Thursday night because it’s karaōke night, my favorite! And the clientele is the best. Everyone is friendly, and they are there to have a great time; no drama. I’m gonna have to try their food next time ;) There is also a jukebox and a vending machine. One downside is that they do not accept debit/​credit cards. Cash only bar.

I tried this place twice – to attempt to be fair– and it was SO awful.
The owner (i believe) is also a bartender, and has never failed to completely ignore me for at least 20 minutes every time I try to order. Whatever other bartender gets stuck back there with her spends all their time trying to take care of all those scorned by that woman.
It’s so close to my house and I wish so badly that it didn’t completely suck, but it really does. One of The nights I was there security had to lock all the doors because patrons went outside, got into a fight, and apparently had guns? So that was great.
I love dive bars, I don’t mind places seeming sketchy, but when they make you feel unsafe – I draw the line.

This is the best worst bar in this part of the valley. Gotta love it. We go here because it’s close to our house… and for no other reason, really. There is no reason to ever go here, unless you have no other choice. That being said, it’s got its own brand of charm, kind of like a skunk. Cute and seemingly approachable, but really just a stinker in the end.

Apparently this bar has been on the show Bar Rescue from what folks have told me. This bar has potential but the service is so slow. They see you standing there at the bar but they take their time with their drink orders. But what brings me back is their pool tables and cheap drinks.
There are two pool tables, a digital jukebox, and kitchen that serves sandwiches and fries. This place has potential to be a great place in the Valley.

I hate to say it but here it goes… So final day of school, friends meet me and others from school so we can throw a few back. As we are in here… We order drinks… One of the «regs» comes and starts talking to me… Good looking guy… We put money in for music. Friends are all chatting an having a good time and this woman, I’m not going to say lady because she obviously had a hard on for me or … Yea no one else… She had a bar on for me… Anyway I don’t know what the dumb bitch did or said but apparently the cops were called because (later charged and dropped) we were «drunk in public» WTF??? 6 of us? Were all drunk in public? Needless to say… No one is coming back there… She’s obviously a carpet munched that couldn’t get «this» carpet so she decided to be a biaaatch… It’s ok… Haters will hate…

The Camby has moved across the street to where Webers used to be. Its same good old crowd. Maria (the owner) is amazing. They recently started serving food what can I say it is delicious.

Live music 6 nights a week! $ 5 domestic pitchers! Cheapest in town. They really cleaned this place up from «webers place» it used to be.

I’m a little tipsy while posting this review but take it as advice. At first view the bar looks bigger than most dive bars and the customers are closer to the 30’s range but still calm crowd. No wanna be gangsters and the bartender is nice so all in all it’s a good spot. Pitchers only $ 5 and shots just the same. If you want to have a good time and save money then this spot is for you.
