I can hardly believe I’m in Republic Mo, this food is amazing, even better than any experience in Springfield. I had the smoked salmon sandwich, quality all the way and the pasta salad let me craving more. It’s 10 minutes off interstate 44 so a great break from highway food. I can hardly wait to return. Kevin had a homemade meatloaf sandwich and was just as in love. The peeps are very friendly putting good positive energy into every detail.

I hardly write reviews on here but I am making an exception for this little hole in the wall. Looking for a place to have lunch with my family, I found this place on Unilocal and thought I’d give it a try. I was skeptical at first of the previous reviews all being so positive. My skepticism continued until we opened the door and was greeted by friendly staff and a couple with their daughter making an ornament the corner. This place is cute, quaint, and very child friendly. That being said, and more importantly, the food was even better. The Asian salad was to die for and perfectly balanced. I personally I got the quiche and would have to say it was one of the best I’ve ever had. Everyone ate every single last bite on their respective plates and we had to use some serious restraint to not order one of the fresh baked desserts the cooks kept bringing out but I’m sure they were just as good as they looked and smelled.
Overall, I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for something new and quiet. This isn’t going to be your giant greasy burger place but you won’t be disappointed.

Recently found this little gem of a place. Everything we have tried has been delicious! Service is great, the staff is super friendly. I feel like I’m in a friend’s house, hanging out and eating yummy food. Don’t skip out on the BlackBerry cake either!

I stinkin’ love it here. The hours are a little scattered as far as dinner and weekends, but they are a guaranteed hit for lunch. Their menu is huge, with soups, salads, wraps… all kinds of tasty goodness. All of it is made in house, so there are different soups and quiches each day. If you fall in love with something (ahem.steak soup… cough cough), just give them a call a couple days ahead of time and let them know you will be coming in. They are super willing to accommodate you. This is also why you can have your sandwich on white or wheat or rye or sourdough or croissants or whatever you can imagine. Want mushrooms? Done. Don’t want mushrooms? Also done – with a smile.
They will also give you a sample of soup if you are unsure if you want to order it.
My go-​to is the fried bologna sandwich with a fried egg on top. I’m that girl shoveling in fried bologna covered in egg yolk. I am not ashamed. They have lots of healthier options, but I don’t care. Bologna FTW. And desserts… mercy. The desserts change daily too, and they are all luscious and beautiful (and the servings are huge). I definitely recommend the bread pudding, which is made with cinnamon rolls and served with whipped cream.
I suppose I should mention the pottery, since that’s the first thing in their name. The walls are covered with shelves of blank pottery-​everything from canisters to Christmas ornaments – that you can paint. I’ve never done it personally, but I’ve seen lots of people enjoying themselves. Plus, the staff is super nice to little kids who want to paint. They hold parties and movie nights and ladies’ dinners… just a VERY cool place to be. The staff is beyond friendly, and I cannot emphasize enough how important that is.

Fresh Bread, fresh ingredients, and phenomenal chocolate cake! I have eaten here often, and will do so many many times again!

Came here today to paint some pottery and loved it! The staff is so welcoming and attentive. The selection is fabulous and this was the most enjoyable time I’ve had in a long time! Will definitely be coming back and will definitely recommend this place to anyone!
