Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinic – VMC

I have never had a problem with MFM. Everyone is nice and friendly.
Love how its in another building so you don’t have to wonder the hospital to find it. And they have a little café a floor below perfect for pregnant women.
I came her almost exclusively for my first pregnancy. This pregnancy my DR’s office has an ultra sound so only came here twice so far.
Last US I got sick and the tech was so sweet, letting me lay on my sides. For the rest of it!
I like that they have a DR talk to you right after so you find out if anything is wrong.
I personally have never had a problem with them and my insurance.

I had to visit MFM again, less than thrilled but always excited for a Unilocaling opportunity. A strange coincidence, I got a bill today from my last visit, that’s how complicated and long that billing took to finalize with my insurance.
I was happy with my service today. I think the issue is the incompetent woman out front. I am 37 weeks pregnant, which is ALOT different then 20 weeks. I don’t need a full bladder for them to see anything via ultrasound, as if I have control over my bladder at all! If I really have to pee, I’m gonna pee. At 20 weeks you need a full bladder. This is a basic thing. Furthermore, you tell me to be 15 min early and you want me to hold it for 45 min or more… puhleez. You should know better.
Everyone else was friendly and helpful, they got me in and out quickly. Again, the first point of contact whether via phone or walking in seems to be the issue.
