I will refer all business they’re way if asked; I was asked if I needed help continually and never felt anyone was impatient when I didn’t understand something completely.
The girl at the front desk was funny and nice :)
They truly try and save you money and have good people working for them. This is just a great location.

Today as I was doing yard work, my tubeless wheelbarrow tire went flat. After watching «how to’s» on You Tube I couldn’t get the bead to seal to fill it up. Les Schwab to the rescue. When I brought my wheel barrow in, David quickly detached the wheel and was able to fill the tire up. Not only was he extremely friendly but he got me in and out of there in less than 10 minutes.. .without charge. I was ready to pay for this but he said it was complimentary today. WOW, this was Nordstroms like service that I have come to expect at this location. I work in the retail industry so it is refreshing to see this amazing service alive and well. Thank You David and the Les Schwab team for your amazing service!

Shout out to Les Schwab 354 Union Ave NE. When I arrived in the parking lot this morning, before I even got out of my truck a young man from Schwab was walking towards my car… as I get out he greets me and asks what do we have going on today? I own a service business and when you wow the guy that attempts to wow customers every day you have done your job. Anyway I tell him my situation and he reassures me he can help and takes my key and sends me inside. Before I even get the counter to check in he is pulling my truck in the bay… wow again… they did everything right and with great customer service… not sure who the young man was the greeted my be John was the Salesperson on my Invoice. BTW. You are expected to leave a tip for the person who pours your drinks/food…but Les Schwab won’t allow tips for their employees is wrong… these are the hard working Americans that keep us going down the road and work hard and with great customer service… I will try to remember to send them a pizza for lunch soon. I take nothing away from the Food Service industry, just saying these people work just and hard and deserves some recognition and money is the best recognition a working American can receive.

I came into the store today because my TPMS light was on for the second time in two days. I thought I might have to pay to have it repaired. The lady behind the counter told me it would be no charge for the repair and it would last for the life of the tire. As a single mom on a budget, I thought that was awesome. This was my first visit to Les Schwab,
After they took my tire off, they couldn’t see a nail or anything in it. Then they put some air in it and came back with a wet tire,…to find the leak. It was punctured on the side and couldn’t be repaired… :(Then the quoted me new tires and took the time to explain to me why I needed all four. (AWD and tread wear). They gave me a great deal on tires and even gave me a trade in for my old tires. My car is less than a year old. They didn’t even charge the disposal fee. I have great new tires, the road noise is less than before. I was impressed with the entire shops enthusiasm to go above and beyond for their customers. Thank you for making it safe for me to drive my car!

First time EVER to report poor customer service from Les Schwab. Always went to the Kent branch prior. But this location on Union in Renton was an extremely poor experience. They didn’t have the correct parts and were reluctant to locate them for us. We wasted an hour making calls to other Schwab branches. Finally, we simply found another tire shop that was more than happy to help us.

5 Star Service!!! Always just assumed Les Schwab was tires. Tires, tires, more tires and only tires… Much to my surprise they do brakes among a few other things that were taken care of when my car broke down in the middle of the street, in the dark and cold. Had my car towed to Les Schwab and Jeff, the store manager, had me fixed and on the road in no time. Thanks for the great customer service!!!

I went in this morning to have my battery tested and my tires rotated. Jeff took care of these in about a half hour at no charge, then pointed out that my hood latch was broken. He fixed it for me in just a few minutes. Their customer service is the best. Go see Jeff soon!

I have been coming to this chain for tires & service for many years and have spent thousands of dollars in that time. For tires & wheels, rotations and flat repairs it’s perfect. I have had some minor issues with other repair services they have done for me. Today I’m getting a new front axle, we’ll see how that goes.
It is s first come first served affair that works well for me.
They are prompt and seem to care about their customers.
The downside is the ever present smell of popcorn, free popcorn is a signature offering at their stores. Some people like the popcorn smell, others won’t.

Last Friday on my way home from work in Kirkland I ran over a big ass bolt that stuck on my brand new left front tire I though something is wrong with my engine the fap-​fap-​fap sounds was horrible so I decided to drive straight to Les Schwab on 4^th street in Renton the technician from Les Schwab took my car in removed the bolt and patched the tire. In and out 15 min and the cost = Zero dollar!
I though for sure that I would have to buy another new tire.
Thank you and thank you Les Schwab you save me couple hundred dollar that I can use to do Christmas shopping. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you at Les Schwab in Renton.

Every Les Schwab I’ve been to so far provided a positive experience. Today we were being helped by a man named Matt I believe who assisted us in getting my car’s realignment and tire rotation service set up. We arrived a little after 8am and ran errands in the area until they finished up with my car.
We have a 30 day warranty if anything goes wrong, but it seems to be realigned just right to me!
Service was good and there was a lot of parking, even with the car wash event today supporting a local school choir.

I came in here with only 30 mins before I needed to leave for work and going on a road trip the next day, I was concerned about my back tires and knew they were going to need to be replaced. The guys where able to look at my tires and show me first hand how bad they where they had the tires in stock and got them replaced all within 30 mins! great service!

The customer service of this store is so very bad !! I brought my car over to have my tires check for leak and the store manager told me that the chrome on my wheel is peeling which caused the leak therefore he won’t even bother to repair. I took my car down the street to discount tire and they fixed the problem for me. I will never come to this store or buy from this store any more.

Had my front brakes done on my 2002 Toyota 4 Runner, they did not «bleed the air out of the lines», leaving the brakes to feel like they were when I brought it in. (peddle to the floor in order to stop). I find that this is quite a liability on their part for not checking this before claiming the car was complete.
I am going to go to the Redmond Wa. store in hopes they will get it right.

If there was a 0 or negative star I would rate it at –10…
My mother in law brought her jeep in because the steering wheel was off. The diagnosed it as the gear box. They replaced it and told us that the mechanic that worked on it had a hard time removing the old part.
When we got the jeep back, I parked it on my driveway and noticed that there’s a coolant leak on the ground. Immediately called to complain and told us that «it was already leaking when he was working on it».
Last week the gear box that they replaced had a defect and brought it back to them. They say it will be a week before they can get a new one. After a week, he calls and says it was ready but when I test drove it, I hear a clicking noise when steering it. So there is another defect on the part that they put. Speaking to the manager and told him about the radiator incident and he told me that if it’s out of their work capacity, they will not tell you what’s wrong with your car. I say that’s a bunch of BS. When he confronted the mechanic, he totally lied to the manager.
Now I took the jeep back for the same problem and they say that the steering box is defective again. They want to replace it with a brand new one hoping that it will fix the problem. The part is an extra $ 400.00 and they want me to pay for it!!! I asked for a refund and «Jeff» will only refund the part not the labor.
I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE FOR ANYTHING!!!

I was here for a new battery. Never been here before for any other service. What’s cool is that I didn’t need an appointment and could simply drop in for the service, making it pretty convenient while compiling my other Saturday activities.
We got here in the afternoon and it seemed pretty busy. There were a fair number of folks sitting in the large waiting area. The waiting area has a few tables and chairs, as well as solo chairs lined along the wall. It looked like they offered free wifi while you wait too. And an added bonus is they have a popcorn maker so you get free popcorn WOOT WOOT!
Service was prompt and friendly. They promised it would be done in an hour and it ended up that the car was done in about 50 minutes… pretty good at over delivering.
The location is great because Safeway is across the street, walgreens is in the same complex, and there are a number of eateries within walking distance too. You certainly have the option of multitasking while getting your car serviced, and that’s what we decided to do.
I dragged my son across the street to pick up a few small groceries. We then stopped by Taco Time for some Mexican eatin’… Well, just mexi fries as a snack prior to dinner. Then we got the call that the car was done.
In and out in an hour, accomplished errands and snack time too, now have a shiny new battery, and free popcorn. Pretty great.

I’ve been in twice over the past week, and there were some things that I liked and some things that I did not. On the plus side, they are consistently friendly toward their customers. Also, they had the tires in stock for my camper trailer (Les Schwab was not my first stop that day) and the price was reasonable.
They couldn’t do the work right away but that was no problem as I was able to leave them the trailer and go about my business for the day. When I left, I asked them to make sure to leave me the best tire as the spare. When I returned, the work was done but I quickly noticed that the spare tire was the one in the worst condition of the three. One tire that they replaced had all but 5 miles on it, and when I told them I wanted to keep it as the spare they initially could not locate it on their worn-​out tires rack. Eventually they did find it and mounted it quickly. If that was all, it wouldn’t be worth mentioning.
Today I returned for work on my car (tie rods and alignment). Starting with the positives, they gave me an estimate before I scheduled the work and a competitive price. They also completed the task in good time.
But again, there were things that I asked for that were not done. I asked them to rotate the tires, but they did not. But that was not the worst thing…
After leaving Les Schwab, I stopped at another shop to get an estimate for exhaust system work (which Les Schwab does not do). When they inspected the car, they immediately noticed that the oil filler cap had been left off and there was oil all over the top of the engine. Thankfully the cap was still sitting on top of the engine.
Now it is possible that someone else left the cap off (like me, after topping off the oil a week earlier). In fact, unless they were topping off the oil as a courtesy, there would have been no reason to remove the cap based on the work they were doing. Nevertheless, I did observe that they had the hood up when they were working on it, and to not notice the missing cap and oil sprayed all over the top of the engine would seem unlikely.
Bottom line is that they seem to have a lack of attention to detail. For tires I might actually come back here again… but not for sure.

I’m really quite a fan of these guys. The first time I saw them I got new brakes. Nothing really out of the ordinary happened. I was pleased with the service and on with my life I went. The second time I saw them, I got new tires. This time my tires were really nice and they were really nice and it was an all around really nice experience. Until later when my tires were going flat. I went back and complained. :(
I was then told that my wheels were chipping off their chrome and because of that my pretty new tires were not able to get a good enough seal in order to stay inflated.
Wait — what!!!
My cheap ass wheels were falling apart.

So, the third time I saw them I got new wheels. And I was happy. Broke…
but happy.
BUT THEN! I had to see them a fourth time because this AWEFUL! grinding or something noise was happening to my front tire. My front tire was rubbing on this plastic part and it was the end of the world — the wheel had to come off — I made a huge mistake buying these new wheels! It was HORRIBLE!!!
Thankfully, the people there are familiar with spazzy customers and knew how to deal with me wonderfully because; the very very nice man attached a bolt to the piece of *my car* that was broken and rubbing on the tire and reattached it to the other part of *my car* that it had *broken off of* and fixed the problem.

Rated only on front desk customer service because we didn’t get any further than that.
Went to get my tire pressure checked based on recommendation of a friend that used to work with Les Schwab. Went in to the actual store part because we weren’t sure where to go since there seemed to be two different service areas in the front.
We were greeted by a lady behind the counter. My boyfriend started off by saying we needed our tires checked and she told us to «pull up beside that wall there» while pointing in a general direction. I tried to confirm with her whether it’d be to the right or the left of that wall and she only insisted upon repeating the same thing over and over, as if we couldn’t understand her. «That wall right there, the red and white one.» Unfortunately, that wall was the wall separating the two service areas and so we still were unsure whether to pull up to the right of said wall or the left of it. She almost made us feel as if we were greatly inconveniencing her.
We walked out of the store, got into the car and decided we wouldn’t be getting the tires checked today. We won’t be back at this location.

Don’t go unless you want your brakes to fall off is the title of this story…
Had our front brakes done for our van and it was done but we really felt over charged for the work after doing some comparison shopping. They did the job, no real customer service, and it was done. We drove around a lot since. Not too long after wards we got our oil change at the awesome Oil Can Henry place not too far away and they spotted one of the newly assembled brakes we bought was dangerously left dangling on one bolt. Looked like they forgot to mount it properly! They said I better take it back or it could stop working on that side if something bad should happen (they didn’t want to scare me and were nice)… I’m a guy with years of customer service so I was calm and respectful when I arrived at the Les Schwab place and they greeted me and I felt that bringing this up was an inconvenience to them. No real personality from the older gentlemen who took me in. No time given, just they would look at it… but what I should have reacted to was the fact they said «those oil guys don’t know what they are talking about.» I shrugged it off. Little did they he know that I spoke to a good and experienced mechanic who did have experience on brakes — just so happens he works for an oil change place now! So, why judge I thought to myself? So I waited a while… a long while, then decided to leave for lunch. About an hour later, another guy called asking what is wrong with the van?! I had to repeat myself! He said, that should not be! As if it was *my fault*… but he said he’ll look into it… another half hour, 45 minutes goes by and we get a call back that the van had a problem (that’s what I said!) — so they fixed it… I got the van, nothing was said to me… no apology, not really an explanation other than «we put some lock tight so it won’t fall off again»… WHAT? I just decided to not go there anymore.
Should I have raised hell like every other person does in that place? I decided it was pointless. I get my share of yelling people… Tried to «give them a chance» but they did not even take it as a GRAND opportunity to not really kiss up, but just say «I’m SO sorry this happened — we will work hard to never have that happen again» — Maybe the mechanic had a bad day, I don’t know. For now, they make the customer feel like its their fault for coming in to «correct their mistake» because some lowly oil can Henry guy said it was a safety issue and should be looked at (no bad mouthing from the oil can Henry guy BTW!) Lesson to all business people: OWN UP, apologizing goes a long ways with a lot of people like me.

Who said le schwab isn’t a great military supporting buisness? Professional and quick. Great job!
