Dr Kumasaka is in the Southlake DERMATOLOGIST Clinic at Valley.
Not to be confused the REGULAR Southlake Clinic.
It is confusing, I know. You will end up on the wrong floor and look like a fool. Believe me, I have done it.
Back to the review… Dr Kumasaka was so kind. He was friendly and that was surprising. I have been to a few doctors in the last few months and this was refreshing to have one so kind. He explained everything and was great with my son. I have seen another Dr at this clinic and I know the reputation of a third Dr, so I was a little skeptical, but Dr K was so great. I will be returning!

I called in for an appointment for an irregular, fast growing lesion on my shoulder. I was given an appointment for today which was a week later. All of my new patient paperwork was mailed to me to complete prior to the appointment. The staff was really nice and completely thorough. A biopsy was done the same day, I was not made to come back for a second appointment for this. I had an excellent experience with this office and would definitely recommend them.

My son suffers with dry skin/dermatitis/eczema. Dr. Kumaska treated my son in his office several times for this condition over several years.
While there is no true cure for eczmea, Dr. K’s treatment was consistently ineffective. Also, it is not easy to get a timely appointment with Dr. K appointments 6 – 8 weeks in advance. This is unacceptable.
Out of frustration, I shopped in the Yellow Pages to find another dermatologist. The new dermatologist was readily available with patient appointments and my son’s skins condition cleared up miracously in a matter of days with the new doctor’s treatment plan.
