First off, Chipotle is no more so a” Mexican” cuisine, than«Southwestern» cuisine or «Tex Mex» cuisine, or for that matter, «Taco Bell» food, could be considered a genuine Mexican cuisine. Chipotle restaurant can only be found in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, and France, to give you an idea of just how«Mexican» it is to the true Mexican taste bud; nonetheless, I love their California Mission(San Francisco) style Sofritas burritos, because being a native Southern Californian and a vegetarian, I think their«Sofritas» burrito is the best burrito on the market, hands-down, for vegetarian good eats, and the closest thing I’ve ever had to the Mission style burritos I grew up eating, on the Southern California beaches of Los Angeles, as a kid. This is one satisfying and filling burrito, for both the vegetarian and the meat eater, too. I can honestly say, I am a big fan of the Chipotle’s Sofritas Burrito, but to keep it vegetarian, have it made with black beans versus the pinto beans.

This Chipotle is one of the newer restaurant in the Renton/South Center area, new staff, new managers and because of them NOW one of my favorites places to eat at. From my experience,(I’ve been there at least 6 – 8 within the last two months) it’s always been clean, and the food always on point! The restaurant has always been clean and well staffed. Everyone is super friendly and the service has always been great. The locations of this Chipotle is also a big plus, super close to all the shopping centers(but not in the middle of the craziness) not as crowded, but when it does get full the staff has always been efficient and the line moves along by fast! Also, easy access back to the freeways, just a few blocks away. 5STARS, easy! Enjoy this place!

I don’t go to Chipotle often because… it’s not my favorite place to go for«mexican» food. I never understood the fascination and love for it. This location, however, makes the franchise redeemable, despite their… mishaps they experienced and had to close down. We ate here last night and both got bowls. Lots of rice, lots of meat, lots of salsa and lots of sour cream. We ate in and didn’t take it go, but we should have. I have to dock a star because it was cold as F in there. I was wearing stuff under my pants, 2 sweaters, a sweatshirt and a scarf. I was still freezing. Parking is a small lot that’s shared with Jimmy John’s and Jack in the Box. Workers were friendly and upbeat despite it being after 9pm. We will come back again when all our other usual standards don’t pan out.

Ok so the door and Unilocal both say that this location closes at 10pm, there are still guest inside eating but their doors are locked so other customers can’t come in. I was looking forward to having my dinner but now I have to drive to a farther location because this one isn’t accepting any more guest? There isn’t even a sign up or anyone that came to the door to explain. I’m a lil confused. I dk if I even want Chipotle anymore.

There very nice here but that might be because I’m always one of the first people when I come to eat since they open at 11 but seems there’s always about 5 or more people waiting for them to open always had friendly service and good food

I love Chipotle, and always get the same thing. I get a steak burrito with all the extras! I typically go to the Bellevue location, but when they opened a location in Renton I was pretty excited, as its a little closer to home for me. The location is how they would say in real estate«up and coming» to say the least, right off of Rainier Avenue. The people and fairly polite, and the location is clean for the most part. If you need to use the restroom, you will need to ask for the«code» for the door… again, not the best area. The employees tend to portion on the smaller side, so you will need to monitor how much you are given or you may be upset with it. I also think they could be trained a little better on how to actually make the burrito. see pics below. All in all, I will be back simply because of convenience.

The best thing about Chipotle as a whole business is their absolute willingness to make things better. No matter what, they will remake your burrito to make you happy if they have made a mistake or done something that makes your experience unsatisfactory. The problem with this location is that happens ALLTHETIME. I took one bite of my burrito yesterday and it was ridiculously salty. I went to the counter to complain, and said it was likely the rice or the beans. They offered to make a new one, and I said yes, please, but not with the same salty rice or beans. Can you please test those to see which one is over salted and make a new batch? After several minutes of the employees running around like headless chickens, they all agreed they had messed up the brown rice and it was too salty. So they remade a batch. My replacement burrito tasted perfect!(after I waited over 5 minutes of my lunch for a new one). However, there was an avocado stem in the guacamole. And there was a big piece of onion skin in the beans. I don’t want to eat onion skin or avocado stem. I picked those out and finished eating my burrito. The problem is ONLY at this location is there always something wrong. Other Chipotles are great. I never have problems. But here, stems are in the guacamole, onion skins are in beans, they run out of guacamole, they oversalt the rice, they don’t roll the burrito properly, or other various minor or major problems i have had. This needs to be fixed, or I will not be returning to this particular store.

My colleague and I went for lunch here today and we were both served chicken that was raw :( We were really excited for this chipotle to open so close to work but the raw meat makes me not want to go back considering this has never happened. Employee didn’t seem shocked when we showed him and offered us free burrito cards. Can’t say I will come back and use it at this location.

You know you truly disappointed me if I gotta give you a one star and either rant a whole essay out or don’t even have the energy to give it an actual review. For you, it’s my laziness… Just like the workers. Learn how to roll your burritos and quit being so rude about the amount you put in. I said extra cheese on top of the cheese and instead of giving me a usual handful of cheese then adding more over, you grabbed a little bit then again… Just asking for cheese would have been more than cheese with extra.

It’s okay. I’m not sure what people want, would you rather have a chipotle here or another empty building? This parking lot is small and I’m surprised whenever we visit and aren’t in an accident. The space is industrial, at least it’s clean. The food was fine. Prices are chipotle prices– I like chipotle better than qudoba(which used to be in this space). The strangest thing is that the bathroom requires a code and when we checked out, the girl said very quickly that the bathroom code was at the bottom of the receipt. Just kind of odd for renton. We’ll be back, just not terribly often. Our service size was reasonable and service was good. A very 3 star experience.

Hate to add to the crap parade of reviews of this particular Chipotle, but I can’t help it. To echo what others have said, I don’t know what the deal is with this particular location, but it’s not good. The burrito I ordered was roughly the size of a store bought microwave burrito, but for way more. The open floor plan is bothersome. This was my first time to this location and I had no clue where to go. I’ve been to other Chipotles before and this was just a cluster. The ceilings need to be redone because it sounds like I’m in a cave. Add to that that the kids working here, bless their hearts, have no clue on how to properly project their voice, and I can’t hear a word anyone is saying 5 feet away from me. The outside looks unfinished… like they nailed a bunch of wooden pallets to the exterior, added a coat of grey primer and called it a day. I had no clue it was actually completed until I stopped by today. That said, the food is decent. Wish the portions were larger because I’m an American and I want a burrito the size of a newborn the way God intended.

Mmmmm Chipotle. I love that there is a location near my house now so I don’t have to drive to Tukwila or Bellevue, just wish it was a little more quality. If you’re looking for a decent size serving of food — this is NOT the place to go! They are so stingy with their ingredients! My boyfriend and I both had to ask for extra of almost everything because the girl was doing like half scoops. Not ok. She also literally scraped every grain of rice from the bottom of the pan and put it into my boyfriends burrito — he said it was so dry. Thankfully I ordered mine after and had fresh rice, and it was fine. Kinda hard to get into the parking lot. Large interior dining area, also a few outdoor tables. It is rather clean inside, which was nice. Wasn’t too busy when we stopped by, which was surprising cause there is usually a line out the door at Chipotle! If they didn’t jip us on serving sizes this would be my regular spot… but the Bellevue location hooks it up, so I’ll continue to just return there!

I love Chipotle. However, this location needs serious help. I have no idea what’s going on in this place. It’s newly opened and another close option, but they need some experienced employees in there. I didn’t know what to do when I got my food. I wanted to cancel my order, but I was hungry. An employee on a break was eating in the dining area near where you pay. She is eating, putting food in her mouth, her fingers in her mouth. Tough to watch, but I saw it. She’s also talking to the other employees. She comes to the register to get something, sour cream or I don’t know what and touches it with her unwashed hands and it gets put in my bag. I’m not a germaphobe, but not many people would be allowed to touch my food with unwashed hands. Certainly a stranger like the person is. Employees of Chipotle 1) If you are on a break, get in line like everyone else, don’t interrupt the employees trying to assist the long line of customers. GETAWAY from the register, you are slowing things down. You are now in the way and frustrating the poor new person on the register. 2) Wash your hands!!! Do NOT touch any food, food containers or anything for that matter, unless you have done so. I saw your put your hands in your mouth while eating then get up and touch customer orders. GROSS! 3) Please go back and retake your food handlers card test. If you passed, you cheated, I’m sure of it. 4) Learn manners and be professional. Do not bother the employees not on a break. They are trying to help customers and keep things moving. Again, you are in the way. I look forward to visiting again and not having this same experience.

1 star for the friendly service, 1 star for OK burrito, — 3 for … Whose idea was it to put Cultivate Thought on the bags??? Especially the one from Aziz Ansari? It’s a bunch of nonsense that I didn’t finish reading and it may have ruined my appetite. The bag says. «HAVEYOUEVERRUNINTOSOMEONEWITHNOTEETHANDASKEDWHATHAPPENED?» That is a HORRIBLE thing to put on your bag. It’s offensive. I have all of my teeth but I know people who don’t, and lost them due to a variety of reasons, not just NOTBRUSHING… people get into car accidents… and have stuff happen. You need to remove those offensive bags from your locations or I am going to Qdoba.

Weird odor. Place is a pit — tables, floor and utensil area. Not that I need to eat a ton, but the serving portions are smaller than any other Chipotle I’ve ever been to. Im 51 and they carded me. At least they’re doing something right!

I have been here twice. Both times I felt like I was bothering the employees by ordering and paying. It seemed like they would much rather be talking among themselves than helping me. So sorry, I promise not to do it again.

Clean, modern Chipotle. The employees were very nice and even laughed at my stepdad’s embarrassing jokes. Giving it a 3 because the chicken in my burrito was horribly burnt/charred.

Extremely excited to have a Chipotle in Renton… but as others have said, it needs a little work. When I stopped for lunch, there were only a few customers inside, however when making my burrito the staff had to replace almost every bin including meat, vegetables, cheese as they went down the line. Also, the portions seemed smaller than other locations. Stop being so stingy and add some more chicken! Anyways, hopefully with time this place will get it together.

Having a chipotle open in the Renton area was the best thing that’s ever happened to me. I’m really picky and always go to the one in the U-district but their portions are beginning to get smaller and smaller. Anyways, I’m very happy that this chipotle has opened and love that it’s right next to Jimmy John’s and on the same lot as Fred Meyer. Its location is very convenient for me. I can grocery shop at Freddy’s and then stop by here for a quick lunch and or dinner and I did just that last week! I’m not sure when this place exactly opened. I came on a Friday, a little after lunch and there was a very long line. It went by realllllllly slow. The workers were very rude. They had ran out of chicken that day and repeatedly told customers there wasn’t any but with a very bad attitude. I ordered my usual, a steak burrito. I had to tell the girl on the line to put more rice because she put the most pathetic amount on my burrito. Not only did I have to ask her once, or twice, but THREE times. That’s hella annoying because I have to be that customer that holds up the line. The portions were very small here and the burritos tasted super plain. I want to come here again but I just can’t, I’ll stick to the chipotle in the U-district from now on. Three stars because they just opened.
