My wife and I went to the Ritz yesterday afternoon. The atmosphere is very nice, the people working the show are friendly and informative, the theater was neat and clean especially the men’s room and when the movie was over we were greeted and told«thank you for coming» which is not common in today’s era and my wife and all of the other ladies were given a flower. We have been to the Ritz several times in the past and will continue to return. Thank you for a very pleasant time, Gary J.

I love the old school feel and inexpensive prices at the classic downtown cinema. Movies shown are second run(average 10+ weeks after release to theaters) and are cheaper to see. The interior concession area is updated but still holds the classic cinema feel. The people who run the place are all very nice and professional. My only issue here is that the seats seem pretty worn. I’m sure it’s difficult to have fully upgraded seats in a place where the ticket and concession prices are lower than the average theater. But it still prevents me from giving it a full five stars, but so close. It’s beautiful inside with the classic feel of years ago. Truly worth at least one visit. There is a more modern four screen theater at the far south end of town by WalMart and across from St Joseph’s College but it has a cold feeling to it with rude employees, plain to no decorations, and high prices.
