The Koffee Shoppe

I went to an opening of a new coffee house yesterday 9÷25÷11 and liked it enough to write a review.
After moving here from the Pacific Northwest I’ve been to the usual suspects in the downtown area. The Hub, My Favorite Muffin, Bibo’… Don’t get me wrong all three of these places offer quality coffee and decent service but the ambiance wasn’t for me. I guess I’m the coffee Little Red Riding Hood. The Hub is too pretencious for me. the Muffin is too corporate and Bibo’ is too hipster.
However I found that the Koffee Shoppe is just right. It’s like going to a little house with comfortable furniture where you really feel like you can just hang out. Basically a home away from home. Well a home that makes a great cup of coffee.
If I could make any suggestion it would be that there was a larger selection of food. Right now they have sandwiches, bagels and pastries. The place just opened and the owner told me that they were in the process of expanding but were taking it slow.
Give this place a try. I’ll probably see you there!
