Always have very useful items on sale for a bargain, the employees are friendly to boot! Will definitely stop here regularly.

All I can say, is the prices here are RIDICULOUS! They have a St. Vincent’s in California, and the prices are VERY reasonable. It’s sad, that thrift are given donations for free… only to GOUGE the average consumer price wise! I purchased a book or two, but won’t be returning! I do so miss Eco-Thrift in California!

You don’t leave this place feeling clean. You also don’t leave without some kind of amazing deal. Furniture is hit or miss, they usually have a sweet selection of records, and for some reason they have a GREAT selection of dresses. Can’t figure that one out. Prices are clearly marked and everything is priced by item type. I’m a huge fan of this since some thrift stores have taken to overpricing name brands. Beyond the fun treasures you can find you really are supporting a great cause. St. Vincent’s does a TON for our community. It’s a win-win and don’t we all love those?

Love this store! I’ve tripled my wardrobe with all of the name brand clothing I’ve found here. Lots of good deals on furniture too.

Love, love, love shopping here! Not only have I gotten a ton of great clothes, purses, & shoes(Kenneth Cole & Steve Madden flats for $ 5!) I have redone my house with all retro furniture from here! Such great deals and finds!

I had an initially lackluster impression, but this thrift store has grown on me over the last couple years. Like many of the higher-turnover thrift stores in town(e.g. Goodwill, Salvation Army), one really shouldn’t expect to visit once and«hit the jackpot»(unless you have a completely empty apartment or are a hoarder). You’ll have better luck if you go once a week or more. It is in the area of a number of homeless service centers, so don’t be surprised to see some folks who are pretty down on their luck. They used to have a «boutique» section(until Winter 2013), which had some cool old stuff but was diluted by some pretty run-of-the-mill thrift store fare. They converted this to a «bargain bin» section(I understand someone came from Goodwill to assist this«conversion»), and I’ve found a few cool things on that«side» of the store, and for really cheap. Like a few other thrift stores(e.g. the Salvation Army on Sutro/Oddie), the division can be annoying in that you need to purchase«bargain» items on one side and regular items on the other(and you have to walk through the foyer separating them to do so). The main section has a good variety of clothes, housewares, books, including a decent furniture section in which I’ve found some useful pieces over the last couple years. I’ve also found some high-end men’s clothing for good prices, a few random antiques, and some nice pieces of home décor and dishes. I sometimes don’t find anything, generally because it seems like very little came out in the prior week(or else it all got snatched up), the reasons for which are probably varied(e.g. few shipments, understaffing). When I do find something(s), the prices are generally good(and almost always better than Goodwill — excluding the gnarly-but-cheap bargain bin store on Oddie). There are sometimes«sale days»(e.g. 20% off furniture), but it seems they do these less and less often(and without much predictability). While I’m not a huge fan of Saver’s, they are pretty clear about what will be on sale and when. It’s overall worth stopping in from time to time if you’re on the thrift store circuit.

I’m seeing a lot of improvement lately. Dock area is better organized for donations. It seems much cleaner.

Ok as ts’s go. Found a new pair of rayban wayfarers with a very cool multi-colored frame for $ 10. Great deals and good selection.

Very big and has a lot of nice furniture at the time I went in. Then if you go to the left side of the store they have more NAMEBAND items. :)

Holy thrifting batman! This place rocks! I found quite a bit of great clothing here on our recent shopping roadtrip. They do have a «boutique» section but the day I was there they had a GREAT sale on those items. I loaded up on dresses for $ 1.00 a piece. The cashiers were both extremely friendly and nice! Very happy with our little stop here in Reno!

I like this place because the prices for used items are pretty good. I found an awesome dinette set for like 7 dollars. I mainly look at household times and furniture, which all seemed to be pretty decent and clean with fair pricing. Just be warned there are homeless people around the entrance area, they usually don’t bother people, or they haven’t bother me.

Very good thrifting! I couldn’t believe how many cashmere sweaters, silk blouses, and other ‘primo’ items were in this thrift store(I was directed to it by some Reno denizens in my cross-country trip). They even had super-expensive jeans(which didn’t fit me, but still, brands like Lucky, etc.)… and the boutique prices were only slightly higher than the rest of the store. I got an awesome leather jacket(how does a new, expensive women’s jacket like this end up here?), some leather shoes, a bias-cut lined silk dress with decorative beading, and a nice cashmere cardigan, all for a few bucks each. I’m stopping in on my way home, I’ll tell ya!

The thrift section is alright but St. Vincent’s overall rocks! They accept donations and have accepted a lot from me in the last couple of days. After moving a business and our garage sale there was a bunch of stuff we didn’t know what to do with. We decided to back up our truck and let the super friendly staff quickly unload it. Plus, if you itemize, they will give you a receipt so your donation can become a tax write off. I appreciate St. Vincent’s because it’s the largest food pantry in Northern Nevada! As Krista E. mentioned, there is a long line of homeless beside the building but this is because this is also where the Reno soup kitchen is located. A much needed service on 4th street, even crack-hos need to eat.
