Vanessa is fantastic with kids! she has just the right touch to show her students the next step and how to improve on what they are doing incorrectly. She is very friendly and energetic, and this relays to the children as well, allowing them to have fun learning a somewhat difficult instrument.
My daughter won a couple free lessons with her at a school raffle. I took my daughter to the first lesson and by the end of the session she was doing «vibrato» and had the biggest smile on her face. She was excited that she could go back to school and be ahead of the class and show off to her friends about this new skill.
Vanessa does offer group lessons as well as private lessons and is very reasonably priced. We plan to sign up for more lessons after the holidays and look forward to my daughter gaining more skill and experience playing the violin.
