Worst Experience every!!! I am in my early 20s and have been battling cervical cancer for 3 years, I just moved to Reno and really wish I would of saw this before going. This place is super close to my house and is attached to a hospital so I thought it’d be great WRONG!!! Worst decision ever! My husband I wanted to start trying to have a baby with my history of cervical cancer we knew it’d be tough so we went in to discuss options. The first doctor I met with Dr. HSU (HORRIBLE) did not speak English, she wouldn’t listen to what I had to say she rushed me in and out! Without looking at me or going over my chart she tells my husband and I that I cant have kids ever and that my cancer will probably come back if we try and this could all be caused by a brain tumor and sent me off to have lab work done. If she would of even looked at my chart she would have known that I am a survived cervical cancer patient along with someone that has high anxiety and is on medication for that along with a previous pregnancy. So I switched doctors immediately!!! I went to see Dr. Sta Maria Torres, who is super personable and friendly however at 5 weeks pregnant she didn’t catch it! I found out from a home pregnancy test after their office did one and I had an ultrasound while there, they never noticed or told me that I was 5 weeks pregnant or more. Few weeks later when I got my positive test from home I called in to schedule an appointment and the earliest they could get me in was Dec 17^th by then I would of almost been into my second trimester!!! I probably even wouldnt make it through my first trimester because I have no cervix left to hold up my uterus and I have a previous history of miscarriage! HELLO do those two things not ring a bell to any doctor to change their mind and get me in ASAP!!!
WORST PLACE EVER!!!

To start, this office is incredibly rude and unprofessional. I would NEVER recommend this place, they do not respect patients and should not have the business of anyone.
I scheduled a new patient appointment and was not able to get in for a month due to their limited availability. As a full time employee my «free» time is scarce so I wanted to assure an on time appointment, the receptionist recommended 1:30 as they require new patients to check in a ½ hour before the appointment and they got back from lunch at 1:00 so assured me they would be caught up with patients and on time.
I showed up at 12:50 and waited until 1:25 before any of the unfriendly staff decided to come back from lunch. They gave a pathetic apology and continued laughing amongst each other while ignoring the 2 patients who had both been waiting over a half hour.
I immediately went to
the front desk as now I was on a tight time crunch with a meeting at 3:00, I asked the receptionist if I would be able to get right in and she informed me that new patients need to be there 30 minutes before their appointment so I would have to wait 30 minutes. Are you kidding me, I had been waiting nearly 45 minutes while they took their time at lunch!!! She proceeded to let me know that the doctor was not even in and she didn’t know what time they could expect her, again are you kidding me, my actual appt was at 1:30 so why would the doctor not be in the office when she had an appointment.
I left after they continued to tell me they could not estimate what time I would be able to get in and they did not know where the doctor was. It was so disheartening to know that the office staff did not care one bit about their patients. I respected their time by showing up when told, and they hardly had a thought about leaving us waiting outside. They never tried to be polite and understanding, in fact, I got the feeling they didn’t want patients so that they could continue gossiping.

Great people and doctor but wait time is long. My appt was at 2:00 and it’s 2:36 still have not been called into a room. Just prepare yourself to wait awhile especially if you have to go back to work. I’m not sure who is running late but obviously they need to manage their time a lot better.
