Would have been nice knowing that Pearl Champagne Lounge does not exist anymore. The locals that I spoke to had not heard of this place.

This review is based on the new Club Xtreme inside the GSR. Formally Pearl Champagne Lounge. I hate this place like poison… I came here last night to see the Saddle Tramps play. They have a decent stage to show case live music, but that’s where anything good ends. They actually had 2 people working a huge sound board for the show, these two must be hard of hearing because the sound coming from the speakers was horrible. The drums were way too load and the vocals were almost nonexistent. I mean I LOVE the Saddle Tramps but I stayed for maybe half of their set because it wasn’t even worth listening to. On top of that some scummy looking«photographer» with his big yellow beanie was all over the stage flashing his camera right in the faces of the band while they were trying to play. Completely unprofessional, a real photographer wouldn’t even be noticed while taking photos. We first bought our drinks from the bar across from the club, the bouncer wouldn’t let us bring our drinks in with us, we had to buy our drinks inside the club. That’s because the same drinks were $ 3-$ 4 dollars more inside than outside in the same casino. Even the girl who was putting wristbands on people getting into the club couldn’t of been slower. After waiting 5 minutes for her to quit flirting with the camera guy she finally realized she had a line of 10+ people trying to get in the club. but still took literally minutes per person trying and attach the wrist bands, honestly that isn’t a hard skill to figure out. I will never come back here for anything. This is a perfect example of why places like this close, or why this club in particular has changed names several times over the last few years.

Anyone who says Reno doesn’t have any good clubs is grossly mistaken. Pearl rocks! The layout is awesome(2 bars, comfy seating, and lots of room to move around), the bartenders know how to make a stiff drink and the music is a great mix of old and new. Plus, Fridays are ladies night with free admission and free well drinks after 11:30!(it’s ok, Bacardi Silver is the well rum!)

Surprisingly pleased. That would sum up my evening at Pearl. The DJ is good at keeping the beats going, the bartenders poured stiff drinks, and the crowd was full of good looking people. In fact, the girl to guy ratio was really good. There were probably about 30% more women than men in the room, but then again being that it was ladies night could be the reason? Other than Pearl, only Downtown Reno can match in terms of a happening nightlife. I’ll be back.

pearl champagne lounge located within casino floors… grand sierra still stepping up a notch in dismal reno casino and nightlife scene… a lone star setting standards high in hotel, casino, entertainment and club… pearl being added as first choice for nightlife within reno… full bar running efficient at full capacity… scantily clad go-go dancers… a trio in white and above. just moving to the hip-hop beats… sitting back in comfy lounge wide bench seating… sip of drinks and enjoying the young eye-candy scenery… pearl packed with young and fresh… dancing of miniskirts and bra tops… and grand sierra summit rooms setting standards for clean, modern and luxury… for crawl back up to room after all-night drinks and dance… perfect five star for this night…
