Being the coward that I am, not going to the dentist regulary, i had a dire emergency with an abcessed tooth on New Years Eve. Dr France prescribed an antibiotic and got me in asap. He and his staff greeted me with a warm smile and babied me through the whole process. I could hear him interacting with his other patients and all of them were greeted and attended to in a warm, professional matter. A few days later, no complications, minimal pain. Being a first time patient, I am very pleased and thankful for Dr France seeing me. His office is very pleasant, calming fountain, nicey decorated. A little hard to spot at first. Kind of behind the gas station/deli between Lakeside and Warren. His actual office door, in the 3631 Warren Way building, is at the back of the building on the East side, outside entry. Plenty of parking. I think it is better to make an appointment, but I was lucky that Dr France took me as an emergency! I will definitely return for more, much needed, work.

I was a dentist phobic mess when I started going to Pat almost 20 years ago. I fear dentists no more. I count Pat both as my dentist and a friend. I know two people that he literally saved their teeth. I have a young lady for west Africa living with me and her teeth and gums were really bad from lack of proper care in Africa. Pat and his wonderful staff have totally reworked her mouth back to good health, and not once complained about us paying the bill off a bit at a time — of course, I sat down with him in the beginning and discussed all of this. He’s wonderful to talk to, engaging and has a wonderful chairside manner. His front office staff is great — although once there was a bit of an issue. I mentioned it to Pat — who thanked me for telling him — and it was history. The hygenists are super!!! Oh, yes — Pat also takes care of my 91 year old Mom, and gives her a sweet deal — doing no more than she realistically needs at this point in life. I’ve had Pat call me at home, to report on my Mother’s condition or to check if my African gal was doing okay. He’s great on followup. I call him ‘Painless Pat’ for good reason. He’s also a neat, neat person. He recently moved from his Plumb and Arlington office of many years, and is now just off the south east corner of Moana and Lakeside — turn in just past the Shell station. closed on friday.
