Larry Klaich M.D.

I got my Skyla IUD done by Dr. Klaich. After reading all the online reviews about how painful the procedure was supposed to be, I was terrified to have it done. However, I remember the most painful part of the procedure being the part where he disinfected me with the cotton swap (since I was so scared the first thing I felt, felt painful to me). Then I blinked and he was done. Because he was able to do the procedure so fast, the pain during the procedure was minimal for me and the cramping after was also minimal. Definitely one of the best doctors I have ever seen.

I am in shock that I haven’t reviewed Dr. Klaich yet! I could have sworn I wrote a review years ago.
I have gone to Dr. Klaich for six years now. I got referred to him by a friend who’s father is a prominent family doctor in Reno. I figured he must be a good doctor if he has his daughter going to Dr. Klaich.
Dr. Klaich is amazing. He is on time 95% of the time. He has a great bedside manor as well. I never felt rushed and he always took time to make sure that my questions were answered. He is very pro-women’s decisions. He will give you different options and educate you so you can figure out what decision is right for you. In the delivery room, he is very confident and reassuring. He even estimated my first daughters delivery time within 16 minutes (he saw me around 8 am and estimated I would have her by noon… she was born at 12:16). He doesn’t believe a woman should have to be in pain, if she doesn’t want to be. His nurse, Linda, is just as great as he is. They make a wonderful team.
I ended up having one of his partners deliver my second daughter daughter. After having an experience with another doctor I can truly say Dr. Klaich is a rock star in the delivery room. Although my second delivery was easier (and half the time) as my first, the experience wasn’t as great. I would have given just about anything to have Dr. Klaich be the doctor that delivered my second.
