I’ve seen this place advertised at the airport, on drive-ins diners and dives, people have talked about it… So I finally had to see what it was all about. Someone had told me that they do chicken and waffles pretty well and a friend of mine had a hankering for it. We started out going to the brasserie. However they don’t serve their chicken and waffles on their normal menu. You were only allowed to have it during brunch or something… So we pick ourselves up and headed over to hash House a go go. This place is located inside here is casino so it’s a bit of an inconvenience to get to. But if you live in Reno all good stuf located inside here is casino so it’s a bit of an inconvenience to get to. But if you live in Reno all the good stuff is worth the effort and the wait. When we came to the hostess station we weren’t sure if they’re open or not because there was literally no one in the restaurant. It was about 5:30PM on a Wednesday, so that was good for us. We just came right over to the table to ask for our drink order and because we knew what we wanted she was able to take our order right then. I have this thing about bone in chicken… I’m not a fan, so she was able to accommodate my chicken and waffles with the chicken breast instead of bone in chicken. That was awesome! The food took about 20 – 30 min to arrive, but when it did! I was able to see what all the fuss was about. Wowzer! 1 entire chicken breast… Not just one half of the chicken breaths… The whole thing!!, breaded and pinned to 4 Huge Belgian waffles, with a side of syrup and a huge piece of Rosemary Shoved through the middle. This was a meal for 4! The food came out hot and fresh and you can tell it was made to order. My friend order the exact same thing. When I looked around the restaurant after people had come in I noticed that every single order was the same size! The price per order were an amazing value and the food all looked fresh and made to order. The waitress that was helping us mentioned that we would get a discount if we were local… So be sure to flas her our ID before we left. The discount was enough to make up for the amount of her tip. I give it four stars because it was a bit of an inconvenience to get into harrahs with the valet and parking having to go up the escalator and what not. However, if this were a standalone restaurant I think my husband and I would find ourselves there a few times a month. If you haven’t been you definitely have to go at least once in your lifetime to experience the massive and shocking portions.

I’ve tried the locations in Vegas and in SD. Time to check off the Reno location. It’s located inside of Harrah’s on the 2nd floor(I think). We were afraid there would be a long line because it was Sunday brunch time, but to our surprise, no line and got seated right away! I decided to try out their french toast. I ordered the Tractor Driver Combo. It included two eggs, sausage or bacon, and pancakes/waffles or french toast. My bf got the meatloaf hash with country potatoes. His sister ordered the infamous chicken & waffles. Her boyfriend ordered some chicken dish with eggs and mashed potatoes. All of the food smelled and looked so darn good! Huge portions too, but out of the four, mine was the smallest(but with HUGE slices of toast). My French toast had a whole banana cut in half vertically, with one strawberry, walnuts, and topped off with powdered sugar. The chicken in the chicken and waffles had like a glazed drizzle on it. The waffles had pieces of bacon inside. My bf’s sister’s boyfriend didn’t really like his chicken dish. He said the chicken didn’t seem to have much flavor. My boyfriend’s meatloaf wasn’t too bad. It was mixed with cheese, spinach, and… other stuff that I don’t remember lol. Each dish is about an average of $ 14/person. Not bad, considering the portion they serve. We looked over at another table where one of them ordered the flapjack. OMG it was HUUUUGE! It was bigger than the plate that it was served on. The guy only ate the middle of the pancake though. What a waste! Hash House A Go Go is always the go-to place for breakfast! Ahhhh my mouth is watering as I type. Overall, we left the restaurant happy and with food babies.

Hash House isn’t bad, it’s just so… meh. Service was fine, albeit forgettable. And although we were there early in the morning on a weekday, we had a 20 minute wait to be seated in a restaurant that was less than half-full. I’m guessing that they were understaffed or something, but it was off-putting(in the«we can afford to irritate customers because of the costs we will save on labor» kind of way). And the food was not worth the wait. They definitely don’t skimp on the portions(which may be a draw for some folks), but for me, I just had a massive amount of food that I didn’t really like. I had a scramble with basil pesto, tomatoes, and brie, accompanied by a mountain of home fries and toast with strawberry jam. It was kinda just dry and bland, theatrically arranged on an oversized plate. The toast and jam were delicious and by far my favorite part of the meal. However, a side dish(especially bread!) really shouldn’t be the«hero» of an entrée. The coffee was good, though. It’s not so much that Hash House is bad, but there are just so many better breakfast and brunch joints in town that I can’t see any reason to return to Hash House…

So upset at the poor customer service at the house of hash this morning and the GM didn’t make the experience any better. It’s too bad because we eat there a couple times a week and really enjoy the evening staff there, we won’t be back. On a positive note we ended up at Heritage for breakfast and their breakfast was absolutely perfect! Super fresh, quality ingredients and not greasy gross! Price was great and large portions. Our server was a young kid and kind of slow maybe a long night but all in all 5 star experience!

Went for breakfast on 6÷6÷16 around 830am. The servers name was Graciela. I had the corned beef hash, which didn’t have much flavor. My girlfriend had the basic breakfast with sausage, which was cold when it came out. The waitress didn’t come over and ask if we needed refills or check on us until I called her over to order a drink and ask for a refill on coffee. Food and service sucked but the strawberry lemonade Margarita was good.

I’ve been here twice and have not been disappointed. The servings are huge enough for my husband and I to share a meal. They also give locals discount! Huge plus! 25% off! Today I brought along my out-of-town guests, and they were very satisfied. They seated our party of 15 fairly quick, and our waiter was nothing short of excellent. The food didn’t take long at all considering most of us were sharing meals(I told my family the portions were big). I don’t understand why they aren’t as busy. The food is flavorful, and prices are great!

I’ve eaten at the Hash House in Las Vegas before and was excited to see that there was in Reno on my recent trip there. The food is excellent and the portions are gigantic. The employees manage to be both hip and friendly, not a combination one often encounters. The fried chicken benedict is to die for(and you might because it’s huge). Anytime I’m in town, you’ll find me here.

As I walked inside I was greeted very welcoming by the waitress. The dining area looked clean, also very large, and the waitress was very patient as I read through the menu.(First time here, and I was surprised at how much they offer!) I ordered the salmon hash with potatoes and eggs. Potatoes were kind of dry, but that’s what ketchup is for. Salmon was good, and home made jam was really good! I enjoyed everything, and look forward to trying their other hashes soon. Not sure why so many bad reviews. I had a good time, and friendly staff made it so much better.

It was a Sunday. We attended an event downtown and parked next to Harrah’s. It was time for brunch. It’s been a few years since I ate at this restaurant. They’re known for big portions. The staff was friendly and we were seated a few minutes after checking in. I ordered the Indiana favorite sage fried chicken with crispy potatoes instead of the mash potatoes. My middle son ordered the kids bacon waffle which was big enough for two small kids. I thought of just having that for breakfast when I saw it. The wife ordered a blueberry pancake with a side of bacon and her mimosas. The food didn’t take too long to come out and everything tasted good. I loved the crispy fried chicken breast. The blueberry pancake was delicious and massive! You’re given a glob of butter also. Yum! It’s hard to mess up breakfast food and we all enjoyed our meal. Locals get 25% off to boot. Not bad.

This Farmville got me all twisted! Their presentation just makes you want to whip out your camera and take a photo! The food is oh so picture perfect! I am glad that the food was good as it looks! The staff was friendly and the restaurant is clean. My favorite there was the Sage Fried chicken and waffles and Andy’s fresh buttermilk biscuit with ahmaazzzzing honey and butter or honey butter. All the portions here are ginormous!

3.5 stars Arriving to an empty counter at the restaurant waiting to be seated. 5 mins passed before my trio party was greeted and seated. Not too busy. This placed was picked tonight because breakfast is available all day. I know the food portions are big but I didn’t know it was going to be THAT big! It came on a huge plate that would require two hands to carry. Big like«Man vs. Food» status. So the first thing on the table were single biscuits on a plate for each person. The honey butter biscuits are already covered in butter and honey. The biscuit was bigger than my fist. The biscuit was good! So the three of us shared the meatloaf and the sage fried benedict. The food tasted okay. It wasn’t as good as I was expecting but it was ok. The meatloaf was on the drier side. It came with a lot of sauce though. The chicken benedict had a lot going on. It was hard to figure out what was what. In this case, simple might be better. I have leftovers for two or three meals for the next day. I have had sandwiches here and I remembered enjoying those. I would come back but I will probably never order these two entrees again. It is also nice that they give a discount for locals!

I have never heard of Hash House A Go go, we had planned on having a family buffet at the Harrahs Carvings buffet but it was closed so we walked over to this restaurant, that was my lucky day, we had a phenomenal dinner! The restaurant was beautifully decorated, it looked very rustic, warm and this was where memories were made of! It was a mini family reunion for us. Fried chicken Benedict was the most delicious American food I had ever had, I normally would not eat a cholesterol laden entrée but all the other choices were like burgers and ordinary fares that would probably clog arteries faster! so I went for the fancy name entrée! I could not believe the taste, the chicken was crunchy to perfection, seasoned to perfection and an egg Benedict topped it, the plate was yuuuuuuggge! it was like a double decker! I shared it but I could have eaten it all myself it was that good. The Rosemary chicken was also delicious, it came out piping hot on a pan. They also had a kid menu, $ 4.99 for yummy grilled cheese sandwich. I have Unilocaled, googled and there is not hash House here in SoCal, I guess I can only dream till I go to Vegas, I highly recommend this place for a satisfying family dinner.

The food was so huge but it was so filling! I got the tractor driver: the pancake was thick and fluffy which made me feel so stuffed really quick. The pork sausage was tasty. The scrambled eggs tasted a little strange. My BF got a burger and it was huge! I forgot what it was called. The pork inside his burger was so yummy! I wanted more. Surprised it wasn’t too packed and we got seated quickly. Definitely will go back again if I were to visit Reno!

Stayed in Harrah’s hotel and this restaurant is located just downstairs. My family and I were craving brunch so we decided to try this place. Wasn’t too many people and seats were available. We sat at a booth and our waitress immediately welcomed us. Service here is great, quick and friendly! She even offered to take a picture for us, how sweet. The food choices on the menu all looked so good it’s hard to decide. There’s a quote that said«MANVS. FOOD» so of course that immediately caught my eye. It’s the Andy’s Sage Fried Chicken Benedict w/maple reduction, 2 eggs, bacon mashed potatoes & biscuit. The table behind us ordered it and I could not resist. The chipotle sauce mixed on the plate tasted so great! We also ordered house smoked fresh salmon, basil pesto, fresh tomato and melted brie cheese with scrambled eggs. Everything was so big so we shared the two plates. I also ordered a large orange juice, and it’s definitely squeezed fresh from the fruit; no added sugar or other preservatives. Huge portions and delicious food! The price is affordable too! Excellent dining experience.

My friend made raved about this place for their sage chicken and waffles! So you guessed it! That’s what I ordered. Wonderful presentation of four waffles and two chicken breasts stacked on top of each other to make a tower! Waffles were a a bit soft so when I cut into them, they were falling apart and I made a crumby mess on plate. Chicken was seasoned well and was very juicy and not dried out at all. Would definitely come again! Service was great as well.

Definitely mixed reviews in my group of four. To start we had warm butter biscuits with an amazing honey butter I think it was. Yummy! We got two salads definitely large enough to share. Again the presentation. The Caesar was delightful and the warm croutons made to order was a treat! The table ordered BBQ Ribs, lemon chicken, a chicken pasta and the Sage fried chicken and waffles. The ribs were boiled first than baked I’m guess. Definitely missed the smoke or grilled flavor. The lemon chicken was sent back. The chicken and past was ok. The sauce was really thin and it lacked flavor. My entrée was the sage chicken and waffles. Omg the best thing EVER! The waffles werw cooked to perfection. Crispy on the outside, warm and fluffy on the inside. A for presentation, the display of entrées very creative.

Nice place to eat after gambling away within the Harrahs hotel. Picked up the HH meatloaf entrée. Totally enjoyed the mixture of the bite sized meat loaf combined with the potatoes, bell peppers, and spinach! In addition the waitress Sydney was awesome. Enjoyed how attentive she was. Her ability to make recommendations based on what I looked at were great. She was also very pleasant and frequently refilled my water. Never had to ask for anything throughout the experience!

Some say Reno. We say ReYES! I always look forward to visiting Hash House when we visit Reno. Located inside of Harrah’s casino, this«Twisted Farm Food» restaurant will certainly fill you up. Prices aren’t cheap but portion sizes sure are generous. Our table of 8 had me craving everything that was brought out. I(yet again) opted for the chicken and waffles and was pleasantly pleased as always(there’s bacon in the waffle!). They’ve got a spicy Bloody Mary but my favorite is always the champagne super nova(it’s a sorta mimosa version of a mojito). Our server, Amber, was incredibly helpful. She had recommendations for anyone who was undecided and was quick to offer answers to any questions. She was definitely on point and was often one step ahead of what we wanted. It’s always a delight visiting Hash House. Until we meet again!
