I show up for my sons eye appointment and they check us in. Only for the doctor to come out after 10 minutes to tell me my sons doctor is not there anymore and she’s been gone 3 months and he didn’t feel confident looking at my sons eyes. 3 months gone and they never decided to call and let us know?!? I took a day off of work for this and wasted gas to drive up there only for them to tell me there was nothing he could do. Very unprofessional and cost me time and money for taking work off. Definitely not happy with how they operate.

Wildcreek Eye Care treated me right when I attempted to introduce contacts into my glasses-wearing life. Dr. Hum and his staff were friendly, time-efficient, and did their jobs well. I appreciated their good customer service when it took me forever to understand and to practice putting in contacts and taking out contacts. I have very small and deep-set eyes, and I am not accustomed to not being good at things that I try very hard to do. Dr. Hum and his staff treated me with patience and kindness even when I drove back to the office an hour after my first appointment, pretty much in tears, because I couldn’t get my contacts out when I attempted to practice this skill at home. I attended my week-after check up appointment, at which I told them that I was no longer interested in this contact madness. They gave me a copy of my glasses prescription without a fuss(so that I could purchase glasses online from Warby Parker, which is always cheaper than buying from a practice). If you are a UNR employee, Wildcreek takes the VSP vision plan associated with the Hometown Health HMO. I plan to return next November for my yearly eye checkup, which is only a $ 15 copay for me.
