I’m always happy to come to this tattoo shop! I see Chris Arredondo he’s amazing at his craft. I’m please with all my work. And everyone who works there is super nice. It’s a comfortable environment. Been going to Chris for almost 9 years. Won’t go anywhere else! Best tattoo Shop

Gotten a few tattoos from this place. First was during a Friday the 13th thing. Walked in, Chris, I think it was, saw my batman sweatshirt and asked if I wanted a batman tattoo. He made a design right there instead of making me choose from the preset designs. Hell yeah!
Second time I went back to get my son’s name on my arm, got it done by Lukasz. Great line work, made it look awesome in less than an hour.
Third and not final was by George. So glad this guy joined the crew at Absolute. He has no problem leaving his comfort zone. Did a half sleeve watercolor style with hummingbirds and trumpet flowers. Dude hand painted the shit first on a canvas! Couldn’t believe my eyes! I was so excited
I will definitely be keeping Absolute as my go to tattoo shop. I’ve got plenty of open space to cover lol

So I have been in here twice-​both times with Joe Z. The first time I was super nervous, as it was a cover up on a fucked up tattoo I got while living in Maine. He did a badass job (as badass as a cupcake can be). I went back for a second time, and he did not disappoint. Joe Z. is really chill, nice, and his work is awesome. I will for sure be coming back for more tattoos.

Generally speaking they had an all around unprofessional demeanor amongst the staff. Unless you get in line for the few seasoned individuals they will simply agree that they are the best at whatever you ask, although they cannot accomplish the basics (straight lines/​fully shaded)
The fairly simple tattoos I received a few months ago are not shaded in all the way an the straight lines are a hit n miss. I feel the need to get them redone by a professional that meets your generic standards. Be careful on whom you choose there.

Joe Zeigler is the man! I came to Absolute after having a couple of tattoos done at another local shop. I can’t say enough good things about Joe. He took my ideas. ran with them and came up with designs that were better than I had imagined. His prices are fair and he is extremely creative!

I had two tattoos from Mr. Ziegler and they both turned out fantastic. He was really nice and patient with me because I had no idea what I was doing and am a total newbie at this. That tattoo he gave me turned out so pretty so I decided spur of the moment to get another one behind my ear. He was really gentle and made the one behind my ear a lot prettier than I thought it was going to be. I highly recommend these guys. They are very good at what they do. I had three friends with me who worked with two other artists that same day and all of us were very pleased.

I have 7 tattoos, and this is the best tattoo I’ve ever gotten! I am so so so glad I got my tat done at Absolute! Topher is a kick ass artist, and his line work is the shit! I’m never ever going anywhere else again. Absolute has a fantastic reputation in Reno and Topher is fabulous. You have to see his work — it will blow you away! Check out my zombie girl tat…

I would recommend this shop to anyone! Anywhere! And I have. Jon McCann, the owner, and extremely talented artist, has by far one of the best hands for tattooing in the area. Not only is he talented, but so is the rest of his staff. And the energy in there is great. Sometimes it can be intimidating to even conjure up the balls for that initial walk-​in to a tattoo shop, and everyone in there, time and time again has made me, and many of my friends feel right at home! If Jon is booked, which of course he is, he has fit me in or recommented his staff to get the job done, when I was on a time crunch. I live in San Francisco, and I wont go anywhere else!

Jon is amazing! I love the sleeve he placed on me and he has great storys to share. He’s not a greasy biker scary tattoo person. I came to him because of his being voted best tattoo artist by all the voters in reno. My arm is sooo colorful and just what I wanted. Also his prices are very reasonable.

I’ve been tattooed by Jason Wheeler twice as well as Jason Freeman. The artists are professional and listen to what you want. They work with you, provide constructive suggestions and produce sweet work. I’ve been tattooed in Boston, San Francisco, Portland, as well as other shops in town and I highly recommend either of the Jason’s here… Yo!
