I needed some shower curtains and I honestly didn’t want to buy them at Walmart or target so big lots was the next best thing. As I walked in the store it was not hard for me to find the bathroom section as everything was organized. There isn’t much variety but there’s was enough for me to find a nice curtain that was on sale. After picking my curtain I decided to take a walk around the store. It is a decent size store with a little bit of everything that you would expect from a big lots. As I walked around I noticed the weren’t many employees walking around or stocking things on the shelves. I counted a total of four employees and three of them were cashiers. This led me to believe that if I needed help with something I would pretty much be on my own. I hoped that wasn’t the case but unless the rest of the people were on lunch break I think that location needs more people. Now once I reached the register the cashier was very nice and helpful. She asked how I was and if there was anything else she could help me with. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice she was and that really made my day. Chances are I’ll be back here again for miscellaneous things around the house that I need.

Usually some great deals when they have things. I do find it hard to maneuver in the store because I think things are just all over. Don’t get me wrong they are organized just items vary from week to week. Like they advertise, it is a big lot with stuff. I’ve made a lot of great purchases and saved a lot of money here and that’s why I will continue to return despite tbe organized chaos. Fyi, you def get what you pay for. So don’t get upset when your items, be it furniture or household items don’t have a long life.

5÷2÷14 Tend to stop here from time to time to grab a few food or home items as discounted rates before heading to the grocery store or Target. Most of the time I grab cereal or chips. They always have the best prices on these items as it seems the prices in the grocery stores are higher and the packaging is smaller. The staff is always friendly. The store can be cluttered at times, but it is a discount store and it is pretty organized for the most part. I suggest checking them out to see what you find before heading to other stores. A few dollars or cents off an item is worth it to me in the end. All about the savings when I can! The only down side to me is that they don’t accept coupons, but I guess that makes sense. The prices are already discounted. Can’t blame a girl for trying. Lol!

Of course, Big Lots knows how to attract customers with their annoying commercials, bright lights and use of a bright orange. I was attracted especially during the holiday season because I could grab multiple little things for everyone in the family and not burn a hole in my pocket. This location is large and open for spacious, comfortable and stress free shopping. They are organized in their own manner but it is fairly easy to find what your looking for. BL has accessories for electronics like headphones, cases; soups, cereals, mattresses, living room and patio furniture, computer desks and chairs, toys, storage containers, personal hygiene items, housewares for decorating your home. It’ great for decorating rooms in your house, new home owners and single people/parents…actually it’s perfect for everyone! The toy section consists of 2 or 3 isles with discounted toys and most of them are name brand with a few exceptions. WTF!!! Big Lots advertises for great sales on TVS and electronics… but maybe there is fine print I couldn’t see on the commercial. NO!!! DON’T BUYTHETVS: My friend bought the Emerson flat screen from this location… When I opened the box, first thing I noticed was the box was brown and bootleg looking, not like other TVS boxes with pictures and colors of what your buying. 1st hint. The 2nd clue that had me wondering was the entire user manual was a copied booklet stapled together, super cheesey. I thought gosh maybe Emerson is just that cheap! So, my friend uses the TV for 3 days and the thing stops working!!! We thought maybe the timer was set, making it turn off itself, but NO! I came to the realization that this TV is frickin USED and not even that in the user manual it says the TV is REFURBISHED!!! I was appauled. I swear I never heard Big Lots include that information in their ads, nor have I ever heard of a company doing such. We took a trip to T**g** and found the same Emerson TV for the same price and it happened to be in a factory box, you know with colors and pictures! NO! BATTERIES: If the packages doesn’t say the batteries come from a name brand company, please don’t waste your money or time buying any batteries from Big Lots. Meaning I had duracell batteries in a package that didn’t say duracell, being dumb I thought Big Lots and them had something going on… but NO! The batteries are USED and they recharge them. I bought AAA batteries and they didn’t hold a charge for even 2 days, so I wasted 6 batteries in 4 days. WASTEOFMONEY! Never knewn a company would resell used and refurbished items and not inform the customers… This does put Big Lots on my watch list, I only go here for cheap gifts and stocking stuffers… Don’t tell anyone that part though
