Disgusting, atrocious. Tried the«egg plant parmesan,» it is not. It is egg plant, in a bland breading badly deep fried. Doesn’t even come with pasta. Tried a «margarita pizza,» no, it was something disguised as a pizza and to top it off, it was burnt. The flavors are simply not there, perhaps they are on vacation. Tried the lobster pasta, again what was that? My husband thought the lobster pasta was edible, not good, edible.

I returned this weekend, eagerly awaiting the same great food I had last summer. I was SO disappointed. They changed the veal meatball recipe. Now they taste like any other meatballs. The waiter said they were changed due to food allergies(they used to contain pine nuts) Too bad for the others who loved them.

Sign advertises steak yet none. As walked in waiter says they are out of lasagna and have 1 short rib left we ordered short rib yet they came back and said its gone so no meat available. Manager did nothing to appease us. Garlic bread soaked in oil, calamari bland. Service very good, food not so much.

We came here because our usual celebration spot(Espuma) was sadly closed that day. We started off with the olives, the artichokes, and the brussel sprout salad. The brussel sprout salad was tasty and the artichokes were excellent. My entrée — the eggplant parm — was good as well. Service as attentive and we received a free slice of cake(not expected) because we told the waiter we were celebrating our anniversary. The waiter was able to converse about wine and, even on a stormy weekday, was able to refer to someone else when he wasn’t sure about a selection.

Fabulous dinner. Greeted cheerfully, quick seating. Chris, my server, was helpful with great menu suggestions and he was appropriately attentive during my meal. Pasta Bolognese was unbelievably delicious — I could have licked the bowl! Best is half price pasta tonight.

Amazing food, amazing atmosphere. Can get noisy at times, and the seating is close together so if you have personal space issues you may want to get there early to get a seat next to a window or not in between two tables. Service is always friendly, and the mood is always set perfectly. They have amazing deals that go on during the off season which make going there an even better experience. Good sized portions and tasteful meals to fit everyone’s taste. I may be in love with the old Lupo di Mare more, before it became Lupo Italian Kitchen, but it still is a perfect experience waiting to happen. You won’t regret coming here.

Exceptional food, great service and a lovely atmosphere. I cant decide my favorite — is it the salami, chickpea salad and roasted artichoke plate — or the chicken parm, or just the artichokes. No matter what you order, you will be happy(but I suggest trying the artichokes — they are AMAZING). We go about once a month, and have never had a bad meal nor bad service.

What a wonderful place! Attentive service by Chris! The Caesar Salad was delightfully crisp and tasty! Main entrée was Short Ribs of Beef accompanied by Al dente green beans and mashed potatoes. SUBLIME! Delightful Tiramasu for dessert! Perfect dinner! I do not ordinarily give more than 3 stars… but this place? Solid 4 stars!

Lupo has some great specials during the off-season at the beach. ½ price«Parmesan» night is my favorite. Service is very good, wait staff is attentive. The drinks are a bit on the pricey side if you want a decent martini, but oh well. Try the shaved brussel sprouts as an appetizer, you’ll like them. Caesar salad is great too. I’ll be back.

Excellent Italian food. Pastas are terrific. Consistently an excellent place for Italian food. Good specials during the off season. Highly recommend it.

So we agree the veal meatballs are excellent — the chicken parm above average — and the bolognese quite good — service as always also good — Chris did a great job — however what is going on with the dining room ceiling? See the attached photo — Chris said they were«trying to fix it — as the area is paper thin» — first time on this side of the dining room in a long time — and last!

Frankie and Louie’s is our favorite quick fix for Italian at the beach but Lupo is my wife’s favorite dining in Rehoboth. Dishes remind us of our regular visits to Italy and all at a fair price. The new all Italian wine list is very nice and reasonably priced too. Love the apps, eggplant parm but the veal meatballs are difficult to pass up.

Really gone downhill. 3-course Sunday night special featured bread in almost everything, as in leftover bread. There were virtually no choices, except for cheap items, amounting to two in two categories, and one dessert, bread pudding, of course.. No dressing on the salad. Have dined and taken people there many times, so very disappointing. Even the films are down to one – on a loop. Used to be a fun place to dine with decent food, but no more. Perhaps since the owner’s death, Matt Haley, no one is watching. But some of the other restaurants he owned, such as Fish On in Lewes, are still quite decent.

I went to Lupo for the first time and would rate this restaurant as outstanding. We ordered the olive and calamari appetizer, both were awesome. For my entrée I had soft shell crabs which were on as a special. Definitely my new favorite restaurant in Rehoboth.

The first problem with this restaurant is that it was insanely loud. u can barely hear the person next to you. on top of that, they had music playing which made it even worse. terrible accoustics, no atmosphere. we were in a party of 10 and not one person liked this place. the food was spotty, some dishes good and some near inedible. the spring pizza was terrible. i goT the shrimp and polenta which was good but only 4 shrimps to a huge plate of polenta. very disappointing all around. there are way better restaurants in the area like pig n fish, back porch café, eden, salt air. dont waste ur time and money here.

Inviting restaurant in Rehoboth. Solid restaurant in RB always good service and food. Friendly and attentive wait staff. Flash fried calamari is supreme as are the shaved brussel sprouts, both appetizers. Cheese ravioli and wild mushroom linguini are both magnificant. My wife loves the spagetti with clams with garlic and chili. The New York strip is also a fabulous dish to have here. The Layer Cake red wine is also really enjoyable. Enjoyed every time we have dined here!

Everything about this dining experience was fabulous. To start– we were told our wait would be 45 minutes to an hour, but we were seated in 35 minutes. The service was excellent from start to finish. Our server recommended the most amazing antipasti on the menu. A shaved Brussel sprout dish with pecorino cheese and truffle oil, which was out of this world. She was extremely attentive and helpful with the menu. The food was phenomenal. Dishes were served at the perfect temperature and all four of us were totally satisfied with our meal. Overall a perfect dining experience– I would highly recommend it.

Dinner here last night. During the off season I attend this restaurants Women and Wine dinners and have been exposed to all kinds of foods that I probably would have never ordered and can report that I have never tasted a dish from lupo that was not wonderful. Last night was no exception, husband had the strip which made him very happy especially with the egg rider. I had the lobster risotto which was delicious and light, I did add pepper to mine. We were served delicious home made bread with a very good olive oil to dip. We started with a grilled cheese with honey and almonds. I think it was pecorino, my husband tried to smear it on the accompanying flatbred but the best way is to slice and stack. $ 4. Get it. We split the tiramisu. To die for. Waitress attentive and made good wine by the glass recommendation. Hubby wanted peroni or Stella but they were out! No wait on a Sunday night 6pm. Had lovely window seat fun for people watching. In case it matters to the reader, this restaurant and others in it’s group do many nice things for the community and are very supportive of not for profit groups in our local area. As a volunteer at the information booth on the boardwalk, I always feel good about recommending lupo to visitors and tourists.

Excelent from top to bottom! First of all, when the other restaurants on the strip were filled to capacity with over an hour wait, we walked right in. You can not go wrong with any of the cheeses they offer as an appetizer on the specials menu. The calamari was also perfectly cooked(after we sent it back because it was overcooked the first time). When we got the second calamari, we noticed the serving size was significantly smaller than the first time it was brought out, as well as the others being ordered around us. We got the frutti de mare, and substituted the rose sauce and it was a great portion, a good variety of seafood incorporated, and delicious, homemade pasta. The sauce was not as flavorful as I would have liked, but a little pepper fixed it. My parents both got the eggplant and they raved over it. The breading on it was tempora like, and the skin was left on which didn’t have a negative effect on the taste like I was expecting. My sister got the cheese ravioli and it was DELICIOUS! The noodle was thick and full of flavorful ricotta cheese. My little brother got the NY Strip and he said it was delicious, but I found it chewy. The waitstaff and support staff were all extremely friendly, helpful, and nice. I would definitely recommend this as a go to place on a busy night.
