When I miss my time in Thailand, we land here — great soup; pad thai; BYOB makes it a cheap place to eat if you bring in a nice bottle of wine!

Just about the only Thai restaurant near Rehoboth Beach. Stopped by here for a late lunch, however the rates change at 3 pm so come early! Food: We ordered the Chicken Drunken Noodles, and the Cucumber Mango salad, Vegetable Pad Thai, and Mango Sticky Rice for dessert. Drunken Noodles were sub-par and just ok, could have been cooked more soft and tender. They were too dry side since they lacked the traditional brown gravy/sauce. The Cucumber Mango salad however, was absolutely exquisite. Delicate and so many layers of flavors. They dropped the ball with the veggie pad thai. They did not cut the broccoli very well and served too much of the stalks which were not cooked all the way through, too touch. So, a veggie dish with too much broccoli stalks, and not enough variety of veggies. There were a few bites of carrots, but nothing memorable. The mango sticky rice dessert was too salty. Perhaps they used the salted cooked rice for all dishes, and forgot to make a pot without salt for the dessert? So, we really could not enjoy the dessert. We didn’t bother sending it back because there was another group of people arguing with the waitress over their order and demanding to speak with a manager that was not even there. So we really just wanted to get the hell out of there and close the tab. Poor service: In the past, there was an excellent Thai restaurant right off the boardwalk and people from Thailand actually ran it and worked there. They went out of business I think a few years ago and now the only Thai restaurant is operated by Russians. I have absolutely nothing against Russians, however the vibe and overall atmosphere that Thai restaurants are known for, that I have grown to really enjoy in your standard Thai restaurants from the servers — was lacking. I left having my doubts. I think I will skip Lily Thai Cusine since I was disappointed. If new management takes over, preferably people from Thailand — I would definitely reconsider trying them again. Updated note: Someone messaged me and said my post is racist. It’s not because I don’t have a bias. The environment was not what I am accustomed to. The service was horrible and other patrons were arguing with the waitress as we were dining about their lack of hospitality and rudeness and poor attitude. We dined and just wanted to get the heck out of there. We did not argue with anyone, we just wanted to leave and not linger since it was uncomfortable listening to patrons and staff arguing. I’ve dined at Thai restaurants for years in different cities and states and the service has always been friendly, hospitable and consistent to the point I want to try as many Thai restaurants as possible. And I’ve dined at a few Russian restaurants as well. The difference worth noting is that the staff was not Asian, but Russian and brought a completely different vibe to our dining experience and I think that is worth worth mentioning. Maybe the server was having a bad day and did not want to be there, I don’t know, I can’t make excuses for them. This was my experience and that is the truth so I left with doubts of returning. I would only return if under different management or if the servers improved and were more friendly, and spoke to the patrons with more polite tone and respect. Our waitress was not welcoming, correcting, and impatient which ruined our dining experience, and it was my Mom’s birthday. If anyone takes offense to that… then I’m not sure how to alter my experience since I’m reporting what actually happened and patrons from other tables spoke to each other in agreement. Poor service, hostile environment, plenty of room for improvement. No bias. The place was empty, so that is a sign in itself. I hope they can step up their game… Again, I’d go back if they improve.

Had the best meals there just yesterday. She fixed a request off the menu and her dumplings and lemon grass muscles were fabulous. Very fresh clean food for the health conscious eater. The vegetarian coconut soup was excellent

Very good overall. Friendly and fast service. There are many options for vegans and vegetarians as well as meat eaters. We had the mango tango salad to start which was refreshing. Next we had the tofu in peanut sauce entrée and the tofu and eggplant entrée. Both were incredible. We got a seat right away on a Friday which was great and we had a nice view by the window to watch all of the activity going by. Highly recommend! Also, it’s open in the off season which is a huge plus for Thai food lovers.

Went on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. They had a special for $ 8.95 that included a salad, entrée and spring roll so it was a good deal. The salad was very good, but the entrees we had lacked flavor. Not bad, but not great. For the price it was a pretty decent lunch so we might return.

Delicious spicy food in Rehoboth Beach! We ordered the Nam Sod appetizer and Massaman curry. We asked for extra spicy and we got it. The curry was fragrant and complex in its flavors. It had lots of chicken and just a few potatoes. The appetizer was wonderful too.

We gave it two stars because it was edible, but it was bland with little taste. The portion sizes were small for the money. The shrimp pad Thai had five shrimp & did not have a pad Thai flavor. The chicken fried rice had a burnt flavor. We also tried the mango chili duck. It wasn’t spicy & lacked flavor. The duck was chewy.

Lily Thai was all-around okay. They provided good portions, and the food was tasty, but nothing really wowed us. It was a nice change from the usual beach fare. We got the fried tofu for an appetizer, I got the tofu shittake stir-fry for my entrée and hubs got the vegetable drunken noodles. My husband and I are vegan, and I do have to say that there were lots of vegan and vegetarian options, so even if nothing was spectacular, it was nice to have options. I’d come back and try other menu items, but I don’t know that I’d recommend it to friends traveling to the area.

For s beach town this place stands out. A diverse menu with lots of options, nothing jumps out at you but every item is solid and satisfying. We ordered a yellow curry, the pad Thai, the spring salad, shrimp balls and an egg plant and shrimp item. They all were quite good. such a nice break from Nicola.

The resturant had so many flies in it we had to ask for our food to be wrapped up and left. The flies were all over our table, plates and glasses. It was gross!

Everything was absolutely delicious. I had the 3 flavored chicken and my wife had sweet and sour chicken. We had the banana and ice cream for dessert, all excellent. I thought the portion could be a bit bigger. The service was a little slow for being the only ones there, but I suppose that’s par for good quality food.

We ended up here because Bangkok Thai in Lewes was closed. The atmosphere and service are nice enough, but the food fell short. The prices were outrageous for what you got. $ 15 for some broccoli and a little scoop of rice isn’t exactly a great deal. We found the portions to be very small(especially for the price), and the food to be pretty decent. Compared to Bangkok Thai, though, it doesn’t come close. Their portions are bigger, prices lower, and food more flavorful.

I visited this restaurant with my uncle. He really likes this place and comes here quite a bit. We had the a dish with duck and another dish with lamb. We also had wontons that they call«heavenly pilllows» or something like that. Everything was delicious. The only reason why I took off one star is because their prices are a little steep… but with the items on their menu, I can see why. This isn’t your typical pad thai and curry Thai restaurant. They have beer and wine. The server was friendly. I don’t remember his name, but I remember him having some sort of European accent.

I had the chili crusted eggplant and a glass of Merlot. I was looking for comfort food after a rough day and that is what I got. I dined alone at the bar, and it was comfortable. I came 25 mins to closing, but didn’t feel like I was putting the hostess or waitress out like some places make you feel. It’s a decently good Thai restaurant. Good for going out w friends. Cheers.

This wasn’t just average Thai, but downright flavorless Thai. To my surprise, my vegetarian Pad Thai had several pieces of strange red-dyed chicken bits in it. Also it lacked any typical sweet & savory tamarind sauce. If you’re visiting for vacation and have a craving for Thai, just wait until you he home and hit up your usual spot.

This is a nice change from everything else at the beach. I’ve eaten here a few times, and it is always good — not excellent, but good. Ordered the eggplant tofu — holy heck, it was so spicy that I couldn’t finish it(and I put hot sauce on everything). Perhaps they left a pepper in here that I didn’t see? It was inedible, which is a shame, because it was delicious(and pricey). Had another dish of tofu with cashews. This was very good, but where were the cashews? I believe I found 3. I would’ve loved to have much more. This place is good, but if this wasn’t at a beach with limited selections, I probably would not go.

Nicely located off Rehoboth Ave on First St. One of the few choices for Asian fare near the beach. The prices are a bit on the high side, most dishes hover in the $ 15 range and the portions are small. We got the Nam Tok appetizer and it was medium to spicy, which I liked, but it had too much Fish sauce. It tasted just OK. For entrée we shared teh Pad See Ew — pork. It was good, but tiny plate. Overall Ok, don’t know if I would go back.
