I love Heidi Lowe’s Gallery. Not only is she a fantastic jewelry designer in her own right, but she always showcases other talented jewelry designers from around the world in her gallery. I have bought a number of jewelry pieces there including Heidi’s and other artist’s designs. I always get compliments when I wear them. Based on my experience with Heidi (she is always warm and welcoming in her gallery and has a passion for jewelery making that shines), I asked to have a custom ring designed around some stones I received as a gift. She asked a few questions about my style and aesthetic and based on that designed a beautiful ring for me. The process was simple and I could not be happier with the final product. There are always beautiful things at Heidi’s gallery, I highly recommend it!

Along with its selection of Heidi Lowe original pieces and a variety of pieces made by various jewelers, the Gallery is usually featuring a body of work by an up-​an-​coming jeweler. The work featured often sparks new ways of thinking about jewelry. Heidi Lowe also offers incredible classes, from one-​on-​one sessions, to make your own wedding rings, and small group classes. It is such a wonderful experience to have someone so passionate share her craft with you.

Working with Heidi was a dream come true for us. My wife and I bought wedding rings in Vietnam and over time I developed an allergy to the ring (not sure what it was actually made of). We wanted to have the ‘same’ wedding rings because we loved the design and, well you know, ROMANCE. But we also wanted slight alterations and made with high quality material. We found Heidi who did a superb job of starting with the original design and listening to our ideas for slight changes (who doesn’t want a bigger diamond?). She made some great suggestions too, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. The rings are perfect and we both feel like we didn’t lose the sentimental connection to the original rings we had when pledging our wedding vows. I would recommend her to anyone.

The winter of 2015 we made rings at Heidi’s shop. It was the best experience we had. We quickly found out through the wedding process that there is a lot of unneeded «fluff». But as I tell people, despite all the wedding planning/​industry B-​S, making our rings at Heidi’s studio was REAL. It was an incredible experience.
We re-​used both of my grandfathers rings and the grooms father’s spare ring to make these truly remarkable branch/​wood grain rings. Heidi was amazing throughout the process. She simply said:
«I don’t why people go to the store to do this, when it’s so much fun and more personalized this way.»
I couldn’t agree with her more. We were so happy with our rings that when we got them back we started to wear them right away and have since. Our wedding is this September. I truly recommend this everyone. My fiancé who wasn’t really into any of the wedding stuff had such a great time with the hands on experience and couldn’t stop telling all his friends about the neat adventure we had. It’s a memory that will last a lifetime with us, and one day maybe our grandchildren will do something similar with our rings. We are thankful that Heidi offered this service and we always recommend this as a must do to our friends :)

Making our wedding rings with Heidi was one of the most cherished, special and unforgettable experiences of our wedding — one in which I will never forget and always remember every day as I wear my ring.
My fiancé (at the time) and I found the idea of making our wedding rings soon after getting engaged. We were enthralled with the idea of hand creating one of the most important symbols of our marriage and the one that literally and physically you are bound to every day.
So we hit the internet, scouring the web for a jeweler or workshop that would allow us to make our rings while at the same time not breaking the bank. Hours of searching, calling and finding jewelers who wanted to charge 5K for the experience became exhaustive. We were just about to give up and head to that good old chain Jeweler in a mall when we found Heidi and to this day still one the be best decisions my wife and I made about our entire wedding experience.
We called Heidi and right away her friendliness shone through. She worked with us and made recommendations when we were lost on what the right size, material and styles of our rings. After speaking with her, she sent estimates for the cost and coming in just a tad over what we would of paid to just buy our rings at a chain jeweler… we knew we had found something special.
We rented a car and drove up to Rehoboth (we live in DC) and arrived at Heidi’s studio on a Saturday morning. A little nervous of not knowing what to expect we walked in and right away were greeted by Heidi. Over the next 6 hours Heidi not only guided us though out process of hand making each other’s (you can make your own or if you wish to make your partners) rings but became a friend in the process. From the moment we walked in you could feel her passion not only for her art but for personalizing and making our experience the best possible.
To start out with a dirty flat band of white gold and to end up with a shiny round wedding ring, is such an awesome feeling of creativity, passion and love. Throughout the process Heidi did a fantastic job of making us feel calm about what can be a little scary. Lighting your rings or fire and hammering it into shape can be scary but all along the way Heidi allowed us to have full control over the process while showing us each step and helping to craft the perfect ring. After a while all of the fears of running your minds are whisked away and you immerse yourself in the memorable experience and Heidi’s fun stories and presence.
Once we were done with the experience we looked at our finish product in amazement. We couldn’t believe we made such beautiful rings… we walked next-​door the Dogfish Head Brewpub (what a location!) with large smiles and not one regret. Spending the afternoon at Heidi’s studio was truly an unforgettable experience that we get to relive just a little bit every day as we stare down at our beautiful rings. Ohh, and of course, this made for a very popular story at the wedding.

I have seen Heidi’s studio many times but never had time to pop in. I got lucky this week when I went in before closing and actually met Heidi and saw some of her work. ABSOLUTELY amazing! Not only is she friendly and kind but she stayed open so I could browse and told me all about the stones she used to make her jewelry. She’s an amazing artist.
