Like any regular Wendy’s the only difference is that this particular establishment was an ice box. I stood in not realizing how cold it was in here. By the time I was done with my food my feet were frozen. Did they ever hear of heat??? Just wondering

Customer service was good however the food was not. I couldn’t even finish the burger I was eating. The bun was cold and soggy probably from the tomatoes and lettuce that I am assuming is all wet.

The kids were hungry after attending Fall Fest down the block at Forrest Park and I still wanted to go to Trader Joe’s afterwards so we stopped in for a quick bite. This new 4 for $ 4 meal certainly has drummed up some business for them. The place was packed beyond belief. When we walked in there was no place to even sit. As we waited on line a table became available. The wait for food was a bit long but we weren’t in a hurry. They did have staff out and about cleaning tabled periodically. The soda and condiment station was fully stocked and the food was okay for fast food.

Well this is my first time in a Wendy’s in years. This location is one of the modernized stores. Big screen TV on the wall, 10ft. long faux fireplace under the TV and 2 specialty drink machines which allow you to customize your sodas. From when I entered the line to ordering was timed at 7.5 minutes. I was committed. The line was 20 deep and moving slow, but for some reason I needed to be here today. A specialty«order taker“came out and started taking line orders. I think the hold up was behind the counter in the cooking area not really the ordering area. When it was finally my turn to order, I had to inquire about the pulled pork. My question was simple, how is that pulled pork made? Does it come in a bag already prepared and then heated up? The order taker said«Yes». Ok, so I will have the chicken sandwich combo. Crispy chicken sandwich– crispy, tasty, juicy, not a bad sandwich. Much better than the buttermilk chicken sandwich at McD’s. Fries-hot, some crispy, natural cut. Next time I would just skip the fries. Fancy mixology soda machines let you pretty much have whatever soda, tea, etc, with any flavored you like. Some people definitely had some problems figuring out this modern soda stream for the public, but after a few minutes everyone seemed to get the hang of it. In the dining area you will find Steve, a very handi-capable person cleaning all of the tables as soon as customers leave. He is also proficient in making sure all of the tables are in a straight line and all of the chairs are perfect. Steve wears a button to let you know that he is visually impaired and hard of hearing. Steve is on top of spills and dirt/napkins etc on the floor and quickly sweeps up the messes. Steve and his commitment to doing a great job is probably the reason I would stop here again. The restaurant parking lot was a zoo and the restaurant was swamped. It consistently had 20 – 30 deep during my time in the dining room. Besides the wait time and the pretty typical fast food, there are not a lot of reasons to really stop here, with the exception of one person… Steve. Watching him work with his dedication was a breath of fresh air. He definitely personifies the«I can do it» attitude. Possibly Steve was the reason I was to stop here today. He clearly is the star at this location. I was going to give this visit 3 stars, but I decided to add 1 extra star for Steve.

Modern and cleaner than most branches. Wifi and parking available. The deal breaker is the wait time. Took us 15 minutes on line to get to the registrar to place our order, then another 5 – 10 minutes for the food to be ready.

Today was a fourth time my family decided to go to Wendy’s, because my son really wanted spicy chicken sandwich, and again we found out they dont have it . I don’t understand why their management wouldn’t order more spicy chicken if they are obviously popular. And their fries are not that fresh. Also, they need to think about changing the way the line is forming, is just not working, people can’t get in or out of the place.

The soda machine is gross(everyone touches it since it’s one of those touch screen machines) and the remodel made no sense. It’s cramped and service is slow.

After they renovated the service has been so slow. I’ve come twice in the last month and both times I had to wait 30 minutes. And the wait is both at the drive thru and inside. That’s just ridiculous!

I was quite surprised with this Wendy’s. I spent a day in Queens on a Saturday and before I traveled back east towards my home, I felt positive about spending some money there. My first impression was that it had a nice exterior. The Wendy’s nearest me didn’t have that type of exterior(in Seaford, NY). That store back near home still had old signage up on the building. The line was long, but it was no big deal. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with ghost pepper fries and a drink(of course). The ghost pepper fries surprised me. I though they would be killer hot but they were still spicy. One of these days, I will go to my local Wendy’s, order those ghost pepper fries, and eat those fries without sipping a drink. The drink options were surprising. There were new Coke drink machines(I have seen them in Moe’s Southwest Grill and Burger King). There were many different types of a certain drink(i.e. Vanilla Coke, Orange Sprite). I had some Cherry Sprite with that(boy is it good). A great first impression on the«new» Wendy’s for me.

I’ve been there twice since the renovation – and at first glance the renovation seems to be a success. Its nice and new, inside and out. They even resurfaced the parking lot. But as a customer I must say that although that is important, what is more important to me is the cleanliness of the store. Both times I’ve visited since the renovation(and the many times prior) I haven’t been able to find a clean table to sit at to eat my food. It’s a small dining room and should be simple for one employee to manage and each time there has been someone out there. But they move so slowly it’s comical. Some managerial intervention is definitely needed. Don’t just toss them out there and assume they’ve got it. Follow up and make sure. Yesterday for instance, it was busy but the manager was so focused on the drive thru that the dining room was seemingly ignored. A 30 second walk through the dining room will tell you all you need to know. This hasn’t chased me from the store at this point, it’s just a bit disappointing. I simply hope this helps to identify and rectify a problem.

What could be said about this wendys that couldnt be said about all the others out there. No matter what time of day it is you will NEVER encounter a server that actually wants to be there. Hell they will complain while they are taking your order(and screw that up too). If you speak too fast they mess up the order. If you speak too slow they get annoyed. If you repeat the order back to them they will repeat it back to you just to make you really wait. Tell them what sauce you want right after you place your actual order. not when they are about to pay. Best thing about this place is that they are open until 2/3am. No good decision is made after 12am but its one of those rare occasions where you need something bad immediately – fast food is always the answer

I don’t know which I’d rather do: order at this Wendy’s, stand online at the post office, the DMV or the bank. If you’re ready to commit yourself to a good 15⁄20 minutes of standing(to probably have your order messed up), this is just the Wendy’s for you!!! And a special shout out to the(LAZY) managers who walk by every two seconds, and pay ZERO mind to the line. It’s seriously a PAINFUL wait. Just go to the one on Fresh Pond road.

This place never makes me feel safe with all the strange people hanging out outside but I still go and everything is fine. Usually my transactions go smoothly but this new girl they have is a bit strange. Me: Nuggets, Honey Mustard She punches in: Nuggets, Ranch Me: Garden Salad, French She punches in: Garden Salad, Italian. Ok… I ordered a Baked potato and she only have me the Sour Cream and Chives. I asked if it came with a Potato and she goes«Eh?» Haha. I asked for a potato and everything else was Honky Dory!

Such a nice price of prime real estate, degraded to the level of a fast food location. It could have been any of the usual suspects, it matters not. Burger this Mc that. I remember back in the late 70’s into the early 80’s when a broken down Optimo tobacco store sat upon the property and I was far less offended. Corporate food & ingredients constantly permeating our lives. Oh well. The chicken sandwich I ordered just because the hour was late and my motivation was low, had more errors than Gimp Smith and Michael Vick this weekend –vs– the Bills. My minor sandwich modification of «Hold the lettuce and tomato» was misconstrued and upon flipping the bun, not to my surprise was the green and red. Atop a piece of a marvel of modern science, it was freakizoid chicken, mutant chicken. Certainly not real chicken. Service? Or lack there of. Slow, unpleasant and reconfirming my belief and full intentions of breaking the chains, as in chain fast food locations.

What’s the point of «FASTFOOD» if you have to stand there for 10 – 15 minutes waiting for your order? I love Wendy’s, but this location has major issues. Here’s an analogy to their service speed… MOLASSES. Tag me in, I could probably figure out how to prep and assemble my Jr bacon cheeseburgers faster than the employees here. This may be a rant, but I’m speaking about what’s on everyone’s mind as they stand around waiting endlessly and grumbling for their food. Also, you think they would pick up the pace a bit when there are 10 – 15 customers on line and 5 – 7 cars deep at the drive thru. Guess again.

Slow always messing up the order! The employees are always talking. Dirty they don’t care about the customers, the long waiting period proves it!

Been going to this location for years, and I nevered had a chance to put in a review. Every time I go there its always clean, the staff are friendly, and its in a good area. Its good to go there after 7p.m. when its not too busy. Just to let everyone know it was once a Roy Rogers back then. I used to ate there when I was kid, and there’s a picture I uploaded what was once RR. I still will go back for a bite real soon.

After a disappointing visit at nearby Michael’s Arts and Crafts, hunger pangs strike hard as breakfast was nonexistent with the passage of time it was now 11:35am. While fast food grub is not my standard choice, it was within visible distance, thereby I was absorbed into the cholesterol trap and liver killer. Wooho, charge up the high fat content! This Wendy’s actual address is: 9013 Metropolitan Avenue, Rego Park, NY. I ordered the Asiago Ranch Spicy Chicken Club sandwich at $ 4.99 only, nothing more and nothing less, which temporary filled my hunger pangs for a quick grub. It was very mild spicy just to my liking of tolerance level, as I admit, I do have a faint mouth for the fiery hell spawn hot spicy. Since it has been ages I’ve eaten at any fast food chain, I forgotten how problematic the results can become for indigestion on my poor stomach. Cashiers are stolid as they ring like robots without any pleasantness in meet and greeting customers for poor customer service skills. Seating is ample and tables are somewhat clean. Facilities are present but no comment as I did not utilize. A parking lot also exist. A drive-thru window for the on-the-go customer exist at this Wendy’s.

I love Wendy’s, this location is right on Woodhaven Blvd and Metro. I always order from the 99cents value meal and order around 5 things for around 7 – 11 dollars. It tastes much better than Burger King. The Service can be slow at times but better tasting.
