A solid Queens diner that has a great breakfast selection that you can not go wrong with. I think their omelettes are the best in the area(I recommend the Italian or the Alpine omelette)… Forest Hills Diner is the main local competition and the nod definitely goes to Tower Diner. With an expansive menu, nice atmosphere, and excellent delivery service, the Tower Diner is my recommendation in this area… The only criticism — it would be nice if they were open 24÷7…

Stopped in here late night for a quick bite. Felt like we were rushed because they were starting to close, my question is, why seat us then? Food was just ok, nothing special, most likely would not return.

Went in on a Thursday afternoon and we decided to get breakfast. I got eggs Benedict with hash browns and my mom silver dollar pancakes. The eggs Benedict were good but the hash browns were just edible. My mom liked her pancakes and bacon. The service was good. Will definitely visit again.

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, and I love coming here on weekdays with either my sister-in-law or sister right before work. Always good service and the food is up to par. I usually get two eggs over medium with French fries, toast and coffee. If the person I’m with is willing to share, I go in for some blue berry pancakes. The place is not anything extravagant, the food is not over the top, neither is it the most creative, but the consistency is what counts to me. I imagine I’ll be having many more breakfast encounters here. Thumbs up.

I like diner food. It shouldn’t have something for everyone. The service isn’t great. The food is very meh. I had a burger and fries and the meat was a hockey puck. Lacking.

We love Tower Diner! This gem of an eatery is located right on Queens Blvd. and delivers! I love this place because the food never disappoints, and the staff are always very friendly. Pros: — Food is always great, and definitely surpasses the typical«diner food» — Love that they are always updating their menu with a ton of healthy options that are not only delicious, but are wallet friendly! — They deliver… enough said! haha — Staff friendly and accommodating. Even on a crowded weekend morning, our large party was handled with no problem. Cons: — My only wish is for them to be open 24hours!

One star for friendly workers everything else is disgusting. Ordered an omelette with fries. Simple but yet they think it’s complicated. Fries not even room temperature Omelette more runny than my nose in the winter. Why sent it back and this is where it gets interesting came back 50 percent smaller looks like they made a one egg omelette took it as an insult never going there again.

A little pricey but it’s open 24 hours, has a nicer ambiance than some diners I’ve been in and has good fries. Service was just fine & I remember it being cold in here on a hot day. Menu selection is pretty good; no complaints here.

I eat here 3 times per week after I go to the gym. The service is excellent and the breakfast is always perfect! I order something different every time. The hash, blueberry pancakes and eggs Benedict are my favorites.

Tower is my go to spot for delivery. While its a typical nyc style diner the food is always fresh and the deliveries are always on time or ahead of schedule. The menu has a crazy amount of options making it a great place if you’re eating with a bunch of people or a picky eater. I have several allergies and they cater to my needs every time. I usially get the egg white omelette with veggies. My girlfriend has tried a bunch of their pasta dishes, sandwiches and apps. She’s loved them all. If you’re stuck inside on a rainy day or in the mood for everything you can’t go wrong.

Tower Diner is a gem in this neighborhood because every area needs a diner! Decent parking in the area and close to mass transportation. It gets SUPER crowded on the weekends for brunch so come early. We were able to get a table for five, just in time before the long wait for tables began. It’s a tiny place so don’t expect something like the mass of Georgia Diner. If a place messes up breakfast, then super fail for them. Luckily, Tower Diner knows how to get breakfast right. Service is quick and food comes out fairly fast. I ordered two eggs with bacon and holy! They gave me a lot of bacon. I like places that don’t skimp on bacon. I also like my bacon crispy on the outside and slightly soft on the inside — Tower Diner cooks it this way.

Placed order at 5:56pm, called at 6:36pm to check status; mass confusion as order was not even made yet. Food came at 7pm… Asked for NOBUTTER on toast and eggs made with NOBUTTER… Both had TONSOFBUTTER… Oh, and what with no «Deluxe» option with the wraps… Had to order a side of fries??? No consistency in quality of service or food… Shalimar it is from now on.

Service is great. Prices are fair. I had two eggs breakfast with bacon, toast & homefries. The toast didn’t have that«toasty» feeling to it it was too soggy. And the bacon wasn’t as crispy as I prefer it to be. The lemonade was also too sweet. I’d come back but maybe I’ll try the lunch menu next time.

Tower diner is a standard NY diner. Stick to eggs, breakfast platters, burgers, etc. I’ve probably been here more than 20 times and have literally tried 5 things. On street parking is spotty and can potentially be a mess. Definitely don’t go out of your way, but stop in if nearby.

Since we stay just across the street, this is our staple diner for a quick breakfast or a relaxed brunch afternoon. We usually end up ordering the classics like omelette, sandwiches, pancakes and French toast. The taste of the food is not extraordinary but I really love the cozy seating of the place. N that’s what exactly pulls me here, every single time!

Just know that their veggie omelette tastes like any other egg scramble and vegetable bits out there. You actually want to order their omelette with sausage, extra bacon, avocado, and swiss cheese. With a split-open croissant on the side. Coffee was replenished regularly. They’re generous with their jam and butter packets. You might want to run 5 miles after that meal, but I settled for gazing longingly at the ridiculous prices of fruits and veggies lining Queens Boulevard. I think I was born with a bit of New Jersey soul(don’t laugh, I know dirty Jerz is the industrial armpit of America, I can’t help it, I went to Chinese school in Edison and Bergen and Edgewater and South Amboy), because diners are my favorite places ever to bunker down with a quick, fly-by meal of eggs and bacon. Especially those diners with the ripped red vinyl high-tops. Can’t say that my heart really skips a beat for the other non-breakfast fare, but honestly, why would you go to a diner of all places if you weren’t in the mood for pancakes, eggs, and bacon?

Tower Diner has been a staple in Rego Park for g-d knows how long. I have dined here numerous times over the years and the service has always been good. Never really liked their french fries that came with omelettes, so I would opt for home fries. Place has 24 hr delivery, I mean, thats unheard of anywhere. Im sure they get a bulk of business due to delivering. A great local dinner, diverse menu. Check it out, Unilocalers, if your in my hood.

After a morning workout at the nearby NYSC, I wanted to grab a quick breakfast and Tower Diner looked like just the place to go to. Located in a building that I swear used to be a bank, this distinctive structure has a small clock tower on top, and while the interior maintains some classic diner elements(such as a counter you can sit at) it’s clearly been fixed up a bit and the painting on the wall is nicely maintained. In particular, the ceiling has a compass painted into it(though I cannot speak to the accuracy of the directions it points to). I decided to sit at the counter, and based on the turnover I saw, this is one popular joint with good quality food. All the dishes I saw coming out looked big and fresh. Everyone seemed happy and I saw no tables waiting very long for their food. For my part, I ordered two eggs over easy with rye toast and Canadian bacon. Everything was cooked perfectly. The toast was nice and crispy, the egg yolks were warm but runny and the bacon portion was big(at least five slices). The counter already had Tabasco sauce, salt, pepper and ketchup on it which brought a big ol’ smile to my face. The good came out incredibly fast and my coffee was kept full the whole time. The entire staff was super pleasant, from the hostess to the waitress to the cashier. I got a really good vibe from this place, and I liked the way sunlight beamed into the restaurant on a nice, clear morning. I give high marks to Tower Diner and recommend it to anyone in the area looking for some good eats and a friendly staff!
