It’s a discount chain store with good discounted merchandise at mostly fantastic prices. I think taking that into account and the fact that it is in a shopping complex, lines are to be expected. But the lines really aren’t that bad unless you’re going right around Christmas time and even then they have a cashier for each register. I recently went there with my husband and my toddler and total time from entering the line to getting to the register was less than 5 minutes and that’s with a long line. No time waiting at all really. The shelves and store can be in severe disarray especially as you get closer to closing time but it’s not as bad as the Gateway location(IMO). Want to skip the lines and disarray, go when they first open, otherwise, be prepared to exercise patience.

I have been to this store multiple times and hated it. The staff was inattentive and made you feel unwelcome. I just went back last week and had a pleasant experience. Place is a dump! You can find good deals, but good luck getting out of there in a timely manner. I always end up leaving my items and heading for the door. Truly lack of management and leadership.… Worst customer service! They need to obtain pointers by the one located in New Hyde Park =)

As someone who was around when they first opened, this place has really gone down in terms of the store. It used to be an incredibly organized and well lit store with a wonderful shoe center(organized by type of shoes and gender). They had a great clothing section with always updated items BUT it is the complete opposite now. The shoe center is a dark mess. Mismatching shoes and shows that doesn’t belong in the proper category. Over all, the place seems incredible dreary now. It was such a great and clean place before but now it’s cold and dreary. Something about it really changed. Some sections didn’t have proper lighting. I personally would prefer a more lit department store than a not so lit store. Not to mention how rude of the staff is! I don’t know if they changed management but I am not happy with how things have changed. Please bring back the old ways!

Wow, Im shocked at all the poor reviews but I understand. The lines are always crazy long, including the fitting room. However, the deals are great if you don’t mind looking through stuff to find what you like. Since I don’t mind hunting for a sale I don’t mind. The dept store, Marshalls is right downstairs and it’s the same process, patience to look and then patience to check out. I could only imagine how busy it was during the holidays. It’s a small store compared to others in Manhattan and Long Island. I love their costume jewelry and their women’s undergarment selection is decent. I’ve never encountered any rude staff. I will definitely continue to shop here since it’s close to my home and I can actually walk. They do have a large parking lot for a fee. They also have the walkway right outside the store that allows you to connect to the other shopping area of Rego Center.

Make sure you have nothing else in the world to do but wait on this line for hours .What a shame They organized the place and this is what it’s gonna cost, a line that STILL wraps around then goes straight back to the end if the store. Thanks but no thanks to «name brands for less»! 3 cashiers !

What is it with these Rego Park stores?! When they first open up, they’re great. But, give it a few months and everything goes to s**t. When this Burlington opened up, I was happy cos I loved the one on 23rd and 6th(that one’s gone to pot, too, lately.) When this one opened, their selection was weaker than the 23rd street location’s, so it’s not like they had far to drop to begin with. But, there’s just no excuse for what you’ll see if you go in there now. Does this store even have a manager? Does s/he even know they’re the manager and is supposed to be managing? The photo which accompanies my review is just a taste of the blech going on in there. To quote Bette Davis, «what a dump.»

This Burlington coat factory is a hot mess. Inventory is every where! The shoe section is a disaester. For a place that calls itself a coat factory, theres not that many coats available. There’s mostly shoes, a lot of men’s suits, children clothes, men’s and women’s clothes, and junk. The store is very unorganized. It’s located all the way in the back of Rego Park Center I, next to old navy. The customer service representatives are mean and rude. They all look like they hate their jobs.
