Welcoming addition to food diversity in the area. Although Rego Park is very diverse, there aren’t many cheap sandwich places offering more than run of the mill burgers.
Food is fab. They’re really nice in person. But pick-​up is better than delivery. They’re a very small start-​up small business and deliveries will take a while & will be totally disorganized at times. They’re lke the rough and grittier, underdog Queens cousin to the posher, glamourous, city dwelling Israeli sandwich shop Taim in the West Village minus the organic cuisine and stylish décor, packaging and branding. Their delivery can be very slow and gruff — but their love of their craft shows when you eat their sandwiches and taste the love.
This isn’t like other falafel places. They sell a variety of kosher burgers, hot dogs, falafel sandwiches, schnitzel fries, appetizers, shawarma and hard to find authentic Israeli street food here. You have the option of pita bread or baguette (although the menu offers more, the breads run out quickly) for your fillings.
It’s a kosher shop so they’ll be closed Fridays before sundown and closed all of Saturday.
For falafel– they’re the best in Rego Park south of Queens Boulevard. The only other good ones are on 108^th or in Forest Hills. For a cheap kosher sandwich shop – it’s the only one in the area that offers a bit of everything for under $ 8. Try the Sabich sandwich, made of chopped boiled eggs, caramelized eggplants and candied onions, soft creamy potatoes, hummus and tons of good, healthy green things! Try the Shakshuka – Middle Eastern eggs poached in a spicy tomato broth, as a filling in a pita or bageutte sandwich. Try their omelette sandwich with Israeli toppings.

We got shawarma on a baguette and the sabich Sammie. Was perfect! My spouse said it tastes like home. It’s a little bit out of the way, but worth the trip if you love middle eastern street food. we will be returning. Thanks guys

I heard so many good things about this place so I had to try it myself. I can defiantly say that the shuwarma is excellent, and we enjoyed it so much. Highly recommended!!!

These guys know what they’re doing. As a big fan of shawarma and schnitzel, the owner gets it right.

Yum yum yum! I was looking for a new place to test out for delivery. Saw this place here on Unilocal and on grubhub and gave it a try. Ordered delivery, arrived in 38 minutes when estimate said 40 – 50 minutes, excellent. We tried a Sabich sandwich in a malawach wrap, very very tasty. The schnitzel sandwich in lafa wrap, good. Hot dogs, classic. Veggie cigars are good, 5/​$ 3.95. Ordered garlic fries and got regular fries, but they were cooked perfectly and with the baggie sent to us that was packed full of utensils and napkins, were several dipping sauces for our eating convenience so it worked out having plain fries to try their amazing sauces. I appreciate so much when a restaurant is thoughtful and generous with condiments etc because they want to make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your meal. The complimentary dessert was a nice treat. Don’t know what it was, but it was like a powder sugar topped pastry with a nut filling. Will definitely be trying more food here soon!

Best Israeli food around! They have amazing quality meat with tons of options not to mention the variety of fresh salads! They have a crazy good Jerusalem mix. Staff is super friendly and generous ! My number one middle eastern food around!!!

This restaurants is one of a kind. I have eaten there a few times and it has always met my expectations, it was even beyond. The food is extremely delicious and served on time. Highly recommended
