Very outdated building. In the hallways, broken and dirty ashtrays still mounted to the walls near the elevators, and an outdated collection of framed Rockwell Saturday Evening Posts give away that only the bare essentials of upkeep has been done since the 80’s. Seems a bit understaffed and is a bit run down at the edges, also, the entire building does not actually have wi-fi coverage. If your room is at the far end, you will need to stand in the hallway to get an internet connection. Some staff is very open that you won’t get wifi in certain rooms, some, not so much.

Its is a pretty basic & dated hotel, but it was as a nice stay and we couldn’t beat the price for lodging and golf at the Country Club. We did not enjoy the bar or the restaurant — but that was okay because there was a really nice place across the street that had a good atmosphere and good food. The Norman Rockwell display was really neat and there were some cool things to explore around town.

The Voyageur Inn took care of our wedding reception this past weekend. We live 2 states away in Missouri, and the Voyageur made planning a wedding across the miles just about effortless. Dawn and her staff pretty much bent over backwards to ensure we were well taken care of. There is a restaurant/supper club on site(Marty’s Steakhouse) at which we’ve eaten several times, and we have not been disappointed! There are large windows through which you can see the wildlife(mostly squirrels) at play behind the restaurant. There is also a bar/lounge. The Norman Rockwell display in the front corridor by the restaurant and ballroom is definately a plus! Hotel rates are more than reasonable. The hotel features nice accomodations. It is an older facility(1960s, I’m guessing), so it is not like the shiny new resorts in the Dells, but it is well presented. There is an indoor pool and hot tub, which is large enough to accomodate a small group. Our wedding guests enjoyed their accomodations here. The food was wonderful – couldn’t have asked for better… the guests loved it! The Voyageur also went out of their way to provide food for rehearsal dinner, which was held at a different location, as this is not something they normally do. This, too, was delicious. We’d like to enthusiastically recommend the Voyageur to anyone looking for a wedding venue, hotel, or simply a place to eat. We had a great time!

The Voyageur Inn & Conference Center did a fantastic job with my rehearsal dinner. We had over 100 people and they served the most delicious food and drinks. I was absolutely pleased and would highly recommend them. I think the thing that surprised me most was the food was truly good. Whenever you ask a hotel to prepare food for a large group, it can sometimes come off as bland. Not so in this case, and I was very pleased. Thanks.
