Careful, careful! Went by this market to cash in some lottery scratchers. No problem until the clerk scanned a ticket worth $ 50. He then informed me that it had «already been paid» and that he would just throw it away for me. I told him no, I had checked the validity of the ticket before I left home. He then stuttered that he would try again and (guess what?) that the ticket was good. I would like to think it was an honest mistake, but seemed awfully suspicious considering that a lottery seller would not be reimbursed by the state if they returned tickets when paying them out.

The only place I know that makes Chester chicken. And If you don’t know what it is I suggest you go to this market for lunch. Great fried chicken. But overall good market to stop at before heading to the lake.
