I like this place because if you pay with cash you get a 10 cent discount! Worth driving an extra block for! The shop is small and there is sometimes a short wait for a pump.

Yes this is very cheap gas. But, yes there is always a but, sometime the sign you see on the street is not what the gas cost. They are very slow in changing the signs on the street. Very bait and switch if I say so.

If you’re looking for cheap gas in the Redwood City area, this is your place. It’s consistently the cheapest place I see when driving from 280 to 101 down Woodside. You pay for it in other ways, of course: — The gas pumps are super old. I guess I’ve seen older in the movies, but these are the oldest I’ve seen in real life. If you pull on the hose, there’s no «give» like with most gas pumps, so park carefully such that the hose can reach. — The gas station is tiny and there’s often a line. Plus it’s frequented by truckers so it’s kind of scary to maneuver if you have a tiny Corolla like I do. — They started charging extra for credit card use, so don’t get tricked. — From the looks of it, this isn’t premium stuff and I doubt there’s Techron or anything similarly spiffy in the fuel. I’ve always believed gas is gas though, so If you’re looking for a bargain, this isn’t a bad place.
