Worst massage ever.
Came here for the ‘Jacuzzi and massage,’ ($ 70 cash and $ 77 if you use a credit card! Way too much either way — you definitely DON’T get what you pay for here) and left in a worse state than when I came in (more stressed, muscles even more tense and now covered in some sort of sticky oil that stained my clothes and made it almost unbearable to ride home in the car).
Hate to be completely negative about anyplace, so I’ll start by mentioning a few good points: the women working there were very nice and it was clean.
With that said, you’re gonna need more than that to run a business. Now on to the ‘other’ points… the Jacuzzi was luke warm at best. After sitting there for about 5 minutes I turned the hot water back on, only to find more luke warm water. Go figure. The Jacuzzi was nothing more than a bath tub which they put some bubble bath into. After about 15 – 20 minutes sitting there, a lady tells me it’s ok to get out. I do and the room is freezing — the temperature should be a little higher to be comfortable.
The lady that gave me the massage (again very nice) looked like she should be retired. Not that age should matter, but in this case it did. The massage I received was with no pressure and seemed like it was done in repetition only to pass the allotted time. I don’t think she had the strength to do anything more than that. It felt like I was being petted instead of massaged. The oil used was too sticky, thick and used in excess. I left feeling gross and slimy on the ride home. I could not wait to take a shower!
I thought I had paid for an hour massage but apparently that hour includes time spent in the Jacuzzi/​bathtub. So basically I paid for twenty minutes of sitting in a bath which I could have done at home. Grrrr!
BE WARNED!!! Unless you want to have a massage by someone that looks like your grandmother, like paying for things you can do at home and want to be covered in a slick oil reminiscent of the exxon valdez then by all means I would recommend looking elsewhere!
