R S Limousines & Sedans Service

I was quoted $ 225 for a ride. RS Limos charged $ 400! Nearly double what I was originally quoted.
Very disappointing service.

I booked a town car through this company because of the Unilocal reviews. Let me tell you buyer beware. This is most definitely one of those times where Unilocal has led me astray.
**Warning, long review.***
Our other car service company was unavailable for the return transportation so I booked RS Limos and Sedan service for our ride home from SFO.
When I called the number, the lady who answered said it was a taxi service. I quickly double-​checked the phone number and asked her if this was RS Limo and Sedan. She stated it was and she just got confused because they have more than one company… ok, fair enough.
I then SPECIFICALLY requested town car service for return transportation from SFO. I let her (dispatcher) know that this was VERY important as it was our wedding anniversary and our return was on July 4^th. I was assured that this was not an issue and given a price quote. I gave them my credit card number and booked the service. I never heard from them again until the day of our return.
We get to SFO and I call RS to confirm the driver will be here (since it was my first time using them, I wanted to make extra sure). I was told the driver was already there (20 minutes early, and I’m thinking great!) and to call back once we have our luggage and have gone through customs.
Two seconds later, the hubby gets a phone call from the driver stating that we should wait in the taxi line and look for his white ford minivan. MINIVAN? I immediately call the main number and all I get is an I’m sorry, the dispatcher must have screwed up but we’ll give you a great discount NEXT TIME. Really? Next time? I paid the going rate for airport town car service and he sends a minivan taxi. He then proceeds to tell me, «well, if you take a cab from SFO to your house it would be almost $ 200 so this is a better deal.» NO buddy, it’s not what we agreed upon and NOT what I paid for so it’s really NOT a better deal.
At the end of the day, RS’s solution was have the driver run the TAXI meter and then knock 15% off the total. No discussion as to what happens if it ends up being more. At the end of the day, I saved $ 23 for my trouble.
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. The taxi had NO credit card machine and had a carbon machine to take my CC imprint (even though I had already given them this SAME card during booking). Then, the owner tells the driver to TEXT MESSAGE my credit card number to him. This is extremely unsecure and these are horrible business practices. They never offered to send a town car and I only got the 15% discount after asking 6 – 8 times.
Use this company at your own risk.
p. s. The driver suggested that maybe their «limo» driver was off because it was the fourth and that’s why we had no town car –not helpful. What made it worse was his comment that the owners were Indian so «I don’t know why they care about the fourth anyway» was offensive and that’s why he got no tip.

This is a fantastic service. Jose is our main contact, but all of the drivers in the business are professional, courteous and *early*. They have always arrived about 10 minutes before our pick-​up time, which is great. Cars are always clean, never smell of smoke or B.O., and always come with a bottle of water. Been using them for 3 years. Highly recommended.

Yes, it’s a limo company that is as cheap as a taxi for home to airport transport. They also do inter-​city transfers, wine country tours, etc. Excellent service! Always 15 minutes early. Extremely professional. Offer services at any hour. The best kept secret in SF. I can’t recommend them highly enough!
