Really solid food. I’m currently hitting this place up 2−3x a week. Haven’t had anything I didn’t enjoy yet. The owners of the business are good folks.

IMHO, this is one of the best places to eat in downtown Redwood City. My weeks are simply not complete if I can’t get a burrito from here at least once. The food is of Fijian/Indian origin and is very tasty. The portions are generous as well. The food alone is a reason to come to this place, but the staff is also lovely! Their service is great and it’s fun to have a little chat with them. Remember, they are very skilled at wrapping large burritos, so fill ‘em up! ;)

This place is the best. It’s just the best. I’ve only ever gotten veggie curritos, so that’s the only thing on the menu I can speak to. The first time I went, I was over-the-moon with how delicious it was but extremely perplexed about what region of India was being represented because it didn’t taste like any Indian food I’ve ever had(predominantly North and West) or any of the food I’d get while I lived in Bangladesh. Indo-Fijian. The food is great; the people are great. This has become my main lunch spot in Redwood City(and the«I just missed my train» dinner spot).

Chipotle style Indian food. Small place. Probably about 100 sq ft of space up front. As soon as you walk in, there’s the line. Will fit about 3 people and the rest will be out the door. Yep it’s that small. Like I said, chipotle style Indian food. Can have it wrapped in a «currito», or served on a plate. For everything you get to pick 1 meat, rice, 1 side, and 1 chutney. Food: Not much of a selection. When I was there meat was chicken or lamb. Side were beans, greens, corn, and something else. Then you can pick brown or saffron rice. Taste. It was bland. Not much flavor. I get it. It’s not a Indian community. They have to adjust the taste to accommodate the demographics around there. Or maybe they don’t taste as good the regular way in a burrito. Either way, I prefer the real stuff. Service was great. They were really nice. Patient. And give you big portions. I really feel they have the ability to make them right. But again, have to adjust to the customers around there. Be your own judge and give it a shot. But for me, not my kind of taste. Will not be back.

So yummy! And great service. My tummy is happy. The food was fresh and I love that there was so much verity. The best part is that you get a lot for your money. So if you are board with your usual lunch stop by this place to turn up your afternoon.

Curry Wrap Is a must lunch and dinner place on any kind of weather. Grab and go. Awesome BIGSERVING @ very AFFORDABLEPRICE Have been living here in the Bay Area for over 20 years an the curry can not be found anywhere else here in the Area. My favorite is the curry fish with its unique coconut milk sauce. You can have it on a wrapp or a plate that is the one to die for. The ladies that runs the restaurant are super friendly and very welcoming.

This place is like Curry Up Now meets Chipotle. It’s strictly a take-out restaurant, catered to the lunch crowds from the exploding start up scene in Redwood City. You order what you want from the counter that looks a bit like Chipotle’s famous burrito lines. Their curry is quite delicious, and you can also make it very spicy from the condiments. At the price point of Chipotle, it’s great for people looking for a twist on the burritos. It’s definitely a fantastic addition to downtown.

I love this place and when I say love I am obsessed. The first time I went on Thursday they were super sweet and welcoming. Very professional and explained about the food and how they operate. My mom and I both ordered the chicken curry bowl. The food is amazing and season well. Next time I go here I am definitely ordering the lamb curry. My mom and I left the place very happy and grateful for how professional and kind they were. The only thing that is not really a big deal is that they are close on Saturdays and Sundays. Yet definitely pay a visit to them when you have a chance.

I guess this is the Indian Chipotle. I liked it. They give a lot of food! And it’s not that expensive. I got a bowl instead of a burrito. I put chicken with spinach and eggplant, and a side of rice and raita. The raita went really well with the dish since it added a cooling element. I thought the chicken was okay but got kind of overwhelming after awhile. The spinach and eggplant were good though. Next time I’d probably just opt for two vegetables instead of one meat and one vegetable. Also the ladies that worked there were really polite and nice.

I came to this place to meet a friend for lunch and this spot was a recommendation from her. There is super cheap meter parking on Arguello(if you’ve ever had jury duty, it is one of the areas designated for juror parking). Just remember to bring some quarters(also, some of the meters don’t work, so you may end up dumping some quarters in that are duds). My Google maps was all confused and I had to wander to find this spot. There isn’t a huge sign above the place so I advise you to keep your eyes peeled for the window. This is a build your own type of place and the instructions are pretty straightforward and if you’ve had Indian food before, you’ll know what the items are. If you haven’t had Indian before, just ask if you have any questions. The staff is super friendly and very helpful to help you make some good tastin’ combos. I went for the non wrap version and there was A TON of food! I had enough for two meals. I don’t really like spicy and was really pleased that it wasn’t too hot for me. The chicken was flavorful and the meat was a hefty portion. The price was just right under $ 8(I didn’t have any additional charges or a drink). There’s some patio seating outside and makes for a nice spot for lunch. Honestly, this place gets 5 stars from me because the staff is so friendly and helpful. Every person I interacted with smiled and was very friendly and courteous.

Great unique blend of flavors in a wrap. I had the fish infused in coconut milk, yellow rice and salsa with spinach. It was tasty. I got so wrapped that I got an order of lamb and spinach wrap the next time around. Too bad, we moved further but overall, food was mouth watering delicious. Price was great and moreover the service.

After 2 visits, I’m still not down with Curry Wrapper’s Delight. It’s average Indian fare that follows a Chipotle gimmick to make it trendy. But… if you’re not feeling so picky, there are a few things going for it: the ladies working there are really nice, it’s a cute corner of Downtown Redwood City, the line is fast, and it’s not so expensive for a nice-sized lunch. MYORDER I had a bowl with ‘Chicken’, ‘Spinach and Eggplant’, ‘Spicy sauce’, ‘Cucumbers’, and ‘Chutney’. It was OK – it was better than the wrap I had on my first visit. IT’S THEINDIANCHIPOTLE * Efficient line. Expect to be in and out fast. * ‘Build your lunch’ from basic food components. Choose your meat, your veggie, your toppings. * The actual names of the food components are not used to make them easier to understand. * Personally, I don’t like how the experience dumbs down what Indian food is. This is the same problem I have with Chipotle, dumbing down Mexican food. * That said, the Indian Burrito is a cute idea. They have yet to perfect it. WIMPYFLAVORS except for the SPICES * This is how Indian food would taste if I cooked it. I’m a decent cook, but… * The food is flavorful on the surface, but once you start chewing, the flavor falls apart. * Texture of the chicken was over-stewed. * The wrap absorbs too much flavor. I don’t think it helps — go for the bowl. * The spicy was HOT. Impressive. NICESTAFF * The ladies working there are SONICE. Really, they enhance the experience. DECENTVALUE * The one thing I’m happy about was I paid LESS than Chipotle prices for the same volume of food. * It’s the one reason I’d go back for lunch someday until better Indian food pops up closer to my office.

I’ve tried indian style chipotles but not fijian indian style chipotles and I like the result! Also don’t fear the spicy chutney. It’s not really that hot. I’d also add all the topics. Chunks of cool cucumber really help freshen the heaviness of the curry flavor.

Came with four coworkers for lunch on Thursday at noon. My director insists that this is Fijian food, not really Indian food, so I’ll just first put that out there for anyone who has the power to add Unilocal classifications to the database. I was debating between a «currito»(curry burrito) and bowl and finally decided on the latter because it looked like more food. However, if I come again I might try the currito since the tortillas looked super tasty after being toasted. You can also sample anything you like! I chose a bowl with lamb, a spinach and eggplant veggie side, and brown rice(it was still yellow and buttery). One can select between a variety of spicy or non-spicy salsas, Chipotle-style, and I topped my bowl with a thin spicy red salsa along with cucumbers and pico de gallo. The flavor of the meal was alright: one thing I did not like was that the lady who spooned the food into my box deliberately added a ton of the lamb curry’s oily liquid into the box and it flooded the meal. But perhaps that’s how it’s supposed to be eaten? The spinach and eggplant was a little too mushy for my taste, but it might taste better wrapped up in a burrito, mixed in with other textures. I was very happy with the price of ~$ 8, for the area. The box also lasted me two meals.

Wandered into this place with my pup and what a gem it is! The two women working were really warm and inviting. Welcomed us in and let me try what I wanted before committing. Only took one bite of the chicken curry and I was done; really tender meat, great curry with some heat. I got the bowl with rice and spinach as a side, as well as a bunch of toppings to amp up the heat. ~$ 8 for great Indian food served quickly by nice people. Easy 5 star and look forward to coming back soon!

This is honestly some of the best food I’ve had in Redwood City. I’ve been here a few times and the staff is always incredibly nice & friendly! The food here is always fresh and everything I’ve had to date has been amazing. Chipotle serving style where you get the option of a curry-burrito or a bowl with seating outside works well for this location & allows you to get a different combination of rice, meats, and veggies(or vegetarian options of course!). Another plus about Curry Wrappers Delight is that it is very affordable and you definitely get a lot of tasty food for your $ My favorite items from here have been the coconut curry fish, which I think is a must try for anyone(and it goes really well with their hot salsa!) and their lamb curry, which is some of the best lamb I’ve ever had, just packed with flavor & incredibly tender. The spinach & eggplant is very good too. I can’t wait to come back & try their bowls! I’ll be happy to come back again.

A charming gem located near all the fanciness of Redwood City. It’s a small operation, cute, bright, and clean, serving unusual and delicious meats/fish in wraps or on top of a bed of rice. I went on a Thursday, and the special lamb and fish were both so savory, tasty, and cooked very well. Wraps include a meat, choice of white or brown rice, a veggie stew(black eyed peas or spinach/eggplant, and there might also have been another stew), and toppings(spicy or regular chutney, corn, cucumbers, raita, extra-spicy hot sauce, and more). It was a beautiful day and they were so sweet to my dog, even bringing out a bowl of water for her because it was hot outside. Lovely place with lovely people.

I found out good reviews from Unilocal so I decided to give it a try. When I first go in, I don’t know how to order and the madam explain in a warm and welcome way which makes me feel like home. Secondly, they offer you to try the meat out if you can’t decide which one to choose from. After we choose our meat, rice, and veggie. We also add cheese, salsa, Greek yogurt and corn to it. To my surprise, the large size of currito only cost 7:99! When we chat with the staff(I believe she’s the owner), she found out that me and my bf come from San Francisco all the way down to redwood city. She offered us a free drink!!! The currito taste good, me and my bf both love it:)! What a great experience and I want to spread it out. It’s service and food both deserve five stars. I will definitely go back to the shop whenever I visit redwood city.
