Creighton School of Wrestling

My son became 2^nd in All of Bay Area schools’ championship in his first year of wrestling. He lost in final to one of his own teammates, who is one of the best in state. The team won its 5^th championship this year. This is the testament to coach Creighton and his staff.

Coach Creighton draws on his own considerable talents and a network of athletes to create an amazing experience for the team. He is an inspired and totally committed coach and a great role model for the kids. They train at a very high level and he expects the best from them. We thought that our 6^th grader would enjoy wrestling and that joining the JLS team might be a good way for him to get to know some other kids this year… The result has been far more than we (and our son!) expected: commitment, focus, determination, passion, responsibility. We absolutely recommend CSW!

My son has been attending the Creighton School of Wrestling for three years. Over that time my son and I have both grown to love wrestling thanks for Coach Creighton. I appreciate his intelligent approach to teaching sport to kids. It can’t just be about the grind for a pre-​teen child. The Coach creates the right balance that is paying dividends now and I expect will pay larger dividends down the road. We are grateful for the Coach’s commitment to all his wrestlers.

The Creighton School of Wrestling teaches youth wrestling and is operated by two-​time NCAA Division-​2 National Champion Braumon Creighton on the San Francisco/​San Jose California Peninsula. Coach Creighton conducts training sessions both in Palo Alto at JLS Middle School and in San Jose at Valley Christian School. The training is for youth athletes from age 5 to high school. Coach Creighton has trained amateur champions at all levels over the past 15 years. His training includes weekly sessions, summer camps and private sessions.
Coach Creighton has trained both of my sons. After committing himself to wrestling, my older son made the leap from a decent high school junior varsity wrestler to a champion high school varsity wrestler over a 9 month period in a large part thanks to Coach Creighton. My younger son has trained for 3 years of middle school wrestling, and has a good set of wrestling know how.
I admire Coach Creighton’s ability to train athletes of many levels and abilities, customize wrestling moves to the athlete’s strengths, and to teach the mental toughness aspect of competition. Working with him has been a phenomenal experience and he has been one of the most influential coaches for my sons.
I highly recommend him as a youth wrestling coach.
