We got the top replaced on our Mustang at a great price and quickly. They also fixed a window alignment problem at reduced cost under the estimate. Friendly and knowledgeable with no hassles.

Craig at Cooks went above and beyond fixing the upholstery on my Lexus IS300. I had some stains which Craig originally thought he could clean or dye … but when that didn’t turn out to his satisfaction, he reupholstered the whole seat at no additional cost! I really appreciated that he treated my car as if it was his own.

The headliner on my Ferrari fell onto my head and I am officially inducted into the dreaded Ferrari headliner gremlin club. After two days of intensive research among fellow Ferrari owners, one name kept coming up, Craig from Cook Upholstery. The are the main interior shop for Ferrari Silicon Valley. They are open Mon-​Fri. I am free on Saturdays only. After a little bit of phone tag, Craig and I chat and he made an appointment for Saturday morning for me. I dropped the car off and picked it back up the following Saturday and it looks fantastic. The headliner is tight and he cleaned up the foam sprinkles that rained into my interior after the headliner fell. The battery in my remote fob was weak and he swing by Ferrari Silicon Valley and replaced the battery for me, free of charge!!! Great service, thanks Craig!

I recently bought myself a (new to me) car, and while it isn’t a super rare novelty, it is still somewhat of a collectors item that I’m trying to keep in the best condition possible.
So, when I woke up on morning and discovered that my headliner had pretty much overnight starting falling off, I had a major panic attack and sprung into action. Every lead took me here, so I gave Cook’s a call to see if they could fix my car.
First, Craig is the nicest guy! He told me to bring the car down so he could give me a quote, which I was able to do right then and there. After taking a look he made sure to explain to me why it had happened (pro tip: if you buy a used car from a humid state, this is probably going to happen), and what my options were in terms of repair. He told me it would be a one day job, and that I could either opt for a basic replacement, or an OEM headliner, which was much more expensive, but kept the interior true to the original. I opted for the OEM route.
I dropped off my car a few days later, and after hearing that I was planning to walk to the train station, Craig insisted on giving me a ride. On the ride over, he told me about the various types of cars he works on (really, just about everything!) and that he had been doing this for quite a long time.
Later that day, he called me apologizing profusely — apparently my headliner had been delivered to another shop, and he received a different one. Because of this, my car wouldn’t be done for another day. He was extremely apologetic for the mix up and offered to pay for a rental car. It was completely fine with me because I bike everywhere, but I was really impressed with him for the offer! I rarely see service like that these days!
When I got my car back, I was blown away. It looks amazing, and I really had no idea how bad the damage to the headliner was when I took it in! A few of my friends and family also took a look at it, and they were impressed with the work as well. Craig and his team did an excellent job. They also thoroughly cleaned the inside of my car after the process, so the entire interior looked better than when I had brought it in!
Now that I know where to take my car for any interior work, I’ll never go anywhere else. Craig knows exactly what he’s doing and really can work miracles on any car. It was well worth the price, and I’m so happy! Thank you guys!

Craig was quite helpful in getting our needs met. I have known of Cook’s since my high school days… in the Dark Ages. I had work on my truck done and it was really quite nice. Cooks is the best! Craig is a pleasure to work with. He promptly returned my calls and answered all my questions. He is straight forward with competitive pricing. Not to mention the quality of the work is superb. He replaced the convertible top of my VW cabrio and the new top looks excellent – he even included a bottle of protective sealant spray. He has some awesome cars in his shop– You know he’s the best of the best when someone is trusting him with their 2.5 million dollar Aston Martin!
He is clearly a man of integrity with great passion for his work. I highly recommend going to Cooks.

I came into the shop this morning to have Craig look at the gum on my seats. My dog had stepped in gum and then got it all over most of my seats. Craig was very efficient and gentle while he removed the gum as to not damage the leather. It took him about 15 minutes and the seats look good as new. I took my car to 2 other places and no one was able to get it off! I’m surprised Craig doesn’t have more reviews here. He is very nice and I would go back to him anytime!

This was my first time at Cook’s upholstery. This shop was recommended to me by a mechanic that does not do body work. The car I brought here was a 1951 Bentley sedan with a cast aluminum body. It had a small fender bender and I wanted to have seat belts installed. I had done seat belt installation myself before, but I felt that the complex paint (lacquer on aluminum panels for the fender skirt), the seat belt mounting (cast aluminum welding) and interior work (wood, leather) was beyond my league. I was really concerned to mess up the appearance of the car, but definitively wanted seat belts.
Craig Lynch, the owner, was very friendly. We talked the details of the installation over, he had a clear idea of how he wanted to do this job and explained this very well. Craig gave an initial estimate of the price and necessary time and kept 100% to it.
In my view the price was appropriate, since the quality of every part of the work that was done was extremely high. I am very satisfied with every aspect of the transaction and would recommend this place to anybody.

not Jiffy Lube. No i don’t work for him or have dinner at his house, but he has always perfected my cars. Yes it takes time but when im at car show i don’t get judged on how fast it got done or how many times he called me. Perfection and restoration takes time.

I took my 1995 Lexus SC400 to Cooks on recommendation of my mechanic. The dealer had quoted something like $ 1500 to replace the leather on ONE seat and I needed all the seats done.
Craig offered a replacement «kit» for $ 1850 for everything so I went ahead with that. The installation is perfect, the leather looks (and smells) great and it was done quicker and for less $ than promised.
Cooks is a friendly place that does quality work on interiors of all kinds of cars. Visiting the shop is a walk back into automotive history — you will love it!

It took 2 tries to get it right, but my new convertible top looks great. Craig installed a new convertible top, straps, over-​rode the broken motor to just open and close the hatch so I could manually open and close the top, resealed rubber seals between the windows and the top, and fixed my broken Recaro seat in my 1991 BMW 325i. The car looks and works great now. They even worked with my mechanic to pick up the car while I was out of town, and made an after-​hours appointment for me to pick it up once I got back. Wow. These guys are the real deal … what you hope for but rarely find. I had the interior on my classic Jag convertible changed from black to tan … everything came out, some modern sub-​padding for sound and vibration went in, then everything was replaced. Though we used the best supplier in the business, it all comes down to the fit and finish by the upholstery shop.
I can’t say enough good things about Craig Lynch and his team. On-​time, great communication, no problem when the supplier stalled a bit, anticipated my concerns, just plain dealt with the unanticipated stuff rather than make issues, ready when promised, price was good value. As to craftsmanship and detail … it isn’t just that they know what they are doing, the folks set the highest standard so they are doing things really, really well. My new interior is PERFECT.

I first have to say that I do not like leaving a bad review because Craig is a nice guy, but my disappointment was in the lack of follow-​up to issues with missing parts to my Porsche that they could not find after putting in a new interior. Also the passenger door was out of adjustment that they could not resolve. I had talked with Craig several times and he promised that he would either find the missing heater vents and tunnel cover or order me some replacements.
In the end I got tired of calling and had to find replacements on my own. The same with the door in that initially I felt bad, but in the end it cost me several hundred dollars to get the damage to the door repaired, so now I just have to eat the additional costs.

I have a vintage Mercedes-​Benz which I took to Cooks for upholstery and other restoration. Cooks replaced the carpeting in the car, refinished the interior wood trim, restored the entire trunk compartment and attended to other various restoration issues. The car has received several awards in part due to the work done by Cooks, which was done most professionally and at a cost much lower than other estimates I received.
I give Cooks 5 stars and highly recommend them for any upholstery and restoration work.
