Tweedy always takes great care of me and makes my stiletto nails extra sharp just like I ask. She also makes me laugh because she has the same sort of dry humor that I do.
If you go on a Monday you get an extra discount on top of the already very reasonable prices. This place is much better than the one across the street!

Great experience today. My first time here. I called to see how busy they were and I was told to come in and I would be seen right away. I arrived and was promptly seated in a very relaxing massage chair. Mani and Pedi were very good and they ladies too their time. I am very happy and will be back. I did Gel mani and a pedi.

I’ve been searching for a new nail salon and was hoping to love Unique Nails. From the reviews I was expecting to however from my experience I won’t be returning.
I visited on a weekday evening around 5:30. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted. The salon was not packed so I was sat as soon as I picked my color. A lady told me where to sit, ran my water than went on with her business, buffing her nails. As I sat there, I had no problem at all waiting. I figured I was waiting for another technician to finish on another customer. My issue was, I sat waiting and the person that gave me my pedicure was the original lady that greeted me, the lady who after running my water went and attended to her own nails while I sat…
I thought about giving them another try however it’s been a week since my pedicure and I already need another.
Good prices though!

I really thought that I could potentially be a loyal customer to this nail salon because it was easy for me to get there after work and get my nails done every two weeks.
The first few times was a great experience and I was happy with the service there.
After a few weeks of coming in and making an appointment I waited for several hours, finally «Winnie» did my nails and half of the time she was not even looking and did a horrible job but air bubbles and dents on my nails. I called and asked them top fix it and wanted me to come at THEIR convenience which i couldn’t make possible. After a few other attemps i was okay with it and looked passes it. last Monday I went again the salon was EMPTY and i walked in and «winnie» literally kicked me out and said that she couldnt do my nails and that thery were busy and to come back later. I felt so degraded and discriminated.
I dont recomment this place to anyone.

I’ve been to Unique Nails twice, so far so good! I never make appointments and I’ve always been seen in a timely manner. Lucky I guess?
I get my gel pedicure done here, $ 27 not bad. My pedicure last me 1.5 months, could last longer I think but my nails grow pretty fast so you could see nail growth.
My polish doesn’t chip! Good selection on colors! Massage chairs! Sanitized tools! No up selling in services!
Accepts card, but must tip with cash.

I have been searching for a nail salon in South Bay. My daughter recommended Unique Nails. They are close to home and at a great location. I made an appointment and was seen promptly. I am very happy to say that I have landed in a new salon. Thank you Kelly for your hard, tedious work. You are thorough and appreciated! My nails are as happy as I am and have not looked this good in years!

Kelly is sweet and METICULOUS. You’re there for probably an hour to do a gel manicure but it’s so worth it. She is super sweet and accommodating for her clients! I finally found my permanent nail salon after trying for ONE YEAR. My last manicure was done just as nicely as the first time I went… that is how you know they value your business. Every other place, the first time is great, and then the quality goes down over time. I recommend making appointments here because they are always busy.

I had a great experience. I went with my co-​workers and I saw Kelly, she did a phenomenal job. I am coming back!

I come here every two weeks to get my gel nails done and waxing… Tweety is my main chick! She is friendly and outgoing and very honest! I love going to her and I only go to her. If I get a pedi I ha e Tina do it, but my tweety watches over the ladies that does my pedi to make sure they are doing it right and to tell them what I like. I trust her and I will only go to her. She communicates with me very well especially when she goes on vacation. Tweety will be my number one go to and tina is my back up.

Went to try the powder gel nails as advertised on the banner in front of the store.
Here’s the breakdown:
— my manicure lady was not too friendly
— instead of taking time to push back cuticles, she used a rotary filer to file the cuticle away, which was painful
–there were wrinkles in my nail polish, when she tried to correct them… Again used the rotary filer. She managed to file off the skin of my finger which bled and was painful
— she seemed like she was in a rush, didn’t bother to tell me I was done or not. She just walked away to the next customer.

Just moved to the area and decided to try out this salon for my Pop Art halloween nails to go with my costume. I was very impressed with the talent and the service. Everyone was really nice, even though I stayed much later than closing. She even added little eyes on my toes free of charge.
I didn’t have cash for tip but they were really understanding about that and just told me not to worry about it. I will definitely be coming back AND I will be tipping double. (Only downside was they don’t scrub very hard for callus remover but mine are pretty bad sometimes so I won’t hold it against them…) thanks everyone!

Kelly is very creative and artistic! I recommend a visit to this little shop for a very nice and affordable mani and pedi!

Tweety did a fantastic job. She was super careful, gentle & thorough. She didn’t comment on the horrible condition of my nails & cuticles, which hadn’t been touched professionally in months. Spa Pedicure with Callus Removal was $ 22. Only thing to note is that you can’t leave a tip on your credit card; cash only. Otherwise, this is my new go-​to place. Thank you, Tweety!

I’ve been here a couple times in the past, couple years ago, and I’ve had good experiences. Actually, one of the worst manicures I’ve ever gotten. Today not so much. I came on a Saturday afternoon, busy, but I was seen right away. I got a mani pedi.
The woman who did my manicure was not too friendly at all. She was actually pretty condescending when I said I didn’t want gel. There were little scratches all along my cuticles because when she put the solution on my finger nails almost all of them stung. She then accidentally wiped half my nail polish off (it was on the top of her hand), then proceeded to blame me saying, «it must have been your fault, you probably moved your hand. Which how would she know because she proceeded to look for where the nail polish came off, she didn’t realize what happened until after the fact.
Final product, there was polish all around my nails and a bump in a couple of them. The woman doing my pedicure did a good job, but didn’t speak much English which is totally fine. When they were done they just walked away and didn’t say anything or raise the arm rest, I was thinking, «ummm am I done here?» I didn’t know if they had a nail drier or something. No they did not.
Maybe I’ll give this place another shot, but definitely won’t be using the same manicure lady if I do.

After my favorite nail salon closed a few months ago, I have been all over Unilocal to compare prices between local nail salons. I finally decided that Unique Nails had the most affordable prices with great reviews!
Two weeks ago while on vacation, I had my acrylics removed and received a pretty terrible manicure. I finally came to Unique Nails today and decided to get my first Gel manicure and a regular pedicure. Gel is only $ 25 here and a regular spa pedicure is $ 17. My total was $ 41 (without tip) and it was Monday (their promotion day) so I received 10% off my total! Not bad at all.
Aside from their prices I really loved their work! The technician doing my pedicure really took her time and made sure to go back if she noticed she missed something. Tina did my gel nails today and really turned my nails around. The salon is nice and clean. I noticed they do sanitize their tools and clean their spa chairs. They also have a wide color selection to choose from whether you want normal nail polish or Gel. If you need to make an appointment, they definitely do that here. However, I had no appointment and was still able to get what I needed done! Try to come in on a Monday or during the week to avoid a wait since the salon is a little small.

The lady cut 2 of my cuticles so short they bled. It’s been a week since I got my gels done and they’re already chipping. She didn’t buff or file them after she put the gel on to smooth them out.
Just disappointed.

Kelly is amazing! I came to her with a print out of what I wanted done for my disney trip! She is so sweet with no hesitation she told me she can do it! And I loved it!

I read mixed reviews about this place, but being that this place is down the street and I am a creature of laziness, I stopped by to get a gel manicure.
I was already impressed when they opened up a fresh new pack of tools and placed two single use filers on the table. I felt so clean even though she didn’t touch me yet.
All in all, she didn’t cut me, my cuticles looked presentable and my gel manicure looked amazing! :)
I am definitely coming here again.

Yknow, I don’t get my nails done enough and when I find a good place, I stick with them. This was my first time at Unique, and I was referred by a friend who’s a regular. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon, and they were able to see me right away. Their polish selection was awesome — both OPI and Essie colors. Every color too. I was sat in a nice massage chair and greeted with a smile.
Tina worked on my toes and Jen on my nails. Both were so nice to talk to, and Tina’s daughter was adorable. She entertained me with her christmas carols and funny jokes. I didn’t get a design on my nails or go with any crazy acrylic set — just a basic mani/​pedi $ 26! Not bad at all, and these ladies were thorough! No one likes to be rushed or do a half ass job, and I was not disappointed. Can’t wait to come back!
