The Amani Experience

I’m a corporate event planner, which basically means I plan meetings and conferences (yawn, I know) but every once in a while I get to put on a fun soirée. This year, my beautiful City of Angels was the backdrop for our summer sales meeting and the pressure was on to show our out of town attendees a good time in our home city.
I secured a fab venue well in advance, picked the menu, cocktails and flowers but I forgot a crucial component for a memorable Friday night in Hollywood, Music! Oh. My. God.
Luckily, I found Amani. I reached out in a bit of a tizzy, but he was cool, calm and helpful. Communication was easy and clear. We discussed our group budget and needs and he was able to work within our budget and provide exactly the kind of music that we needed. When a second reception popped up on the same night, he was even able to curate a playlist for the second group — so it was like he was in two places at once!
Our event was a complete success! Amani did a fantastic job with the music… it was a varied mix of everything current and several classics to satisfy a wide age group. I was nervous about how we would balance a Hollywood Rooftop Party and a group of mostly corporate executives, but there was nothing to be nervous about, Amani made it seem effortless and in the end, all the suits felt like they were in an episode of Entourage, and that is all we could ask for.
Amani is professional and it’s apparent that he loves what he does, which means he does it well. I would highly recommend him without hesitation.

And what a great experience! Amani DJ’ed my husband’s 50^th party, musical icon themed and helped us celebrate in style!

He is very helpful with establishing customer relation and asking the right questions. The Contract is straightforward and he will also visit your place to check out space and access.
My party was a success! My guests were satisfied with the music selection. I had approximately 50 guests varying in age so we had a variety of music. Per my request, he also played some Spanish Rock, which was awesome!

Amani is absolutely Amazing! He is always professional, and prompt, and he knows how to spin some awesome music! You can request anything, and he can do it! He even brings out the old jams if you need them.
