The atmosphere was so nice very relaxing. The staff was super friendly especially the bartender. He was so nice and helpful because I rarely drink and he was very helpful with it. The food was incredible so good it just melts in your mouth

So today is my first time going to r/10 social house, i now relize inshould of checked the Unilocal reviews before coming here, had one waitress waiting the entire floor not only did it take about 20 mins to get our drinks but after ordering the bottomless mimosas myself at the bar, because our waiter was busy ordering tables woth the manager out of sight, then once getting my bottomless mimosa i was then notifified by the all of a sudden now present manager that i only get one mimosa because brunch ends in five mins!!! All i have to say is… When ur walking around the pier and your first gut feeling is to go the smaller family cheaper food places to listen to it… Because this place is not worth it!!! I will await and look to see the next time i revisit redondo beach, most likely this place will no longer be here

Love R10! It’s a cute little place on the Redondo Beach marina with good food and mixed cocktails. It’s right down the street from me so I try to stop in – it’s never crowded and we get served quickly. Check in to Unilocal to get the heavenly whiskey loaf – I dream about the butter it comes with sometimes :) Can’t go wrong with any of the food choices but my roommates swear by the Hale Kale and brussel sprouts(with bacon bits)!

Brunch is good! Unlimited Mimosas, although i went for the homemade Bloody Mary. Sweet Potato Hash is very tasty, I just might get it next time too!

PHENOMENAL service from Freddy at the downstairs bar– super informative, considerate & attentive we are really lucky to have him. Really stands above 90% of ppl I see at restaurants. MENU = grrrreat variety without being too many options. Balanced & delicious & cheese & chicken & salads & we didn’t even make the happy hour! I will definitely come back. Freddy informed us of Monday happy hr plus specials also. I had a great Bloody Mary. CHECKINON Unilocal for free bread. Exquisitely prepared items.

I’ve definitely experienced better. Hence, the 2 star rating. Food was nothing memorable. Overcooked my burger. Screwed up our orders twice. Staff was friendly enough. But food came out painfully slow. Decent brews. Good drinks. Live music saved the night. Great location by marina. Good to take out-of-towners here for cocktails.

R10 was the right choice for hosting our fabulous and very personal event. We chose R10 social house to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday! We had 75 – 90 guests throughout the evening from 7:30 — 12:30(we could have not elected to add an extra hour, but… we were having such a good time, oh well, we went for it!). The cost to rent/lease the facility for this event is reasonable(I personally think the cost of booze/drinks is pricey and meeting the food and beverage commitment at those drink prices is a bit much. This is the reason why I cannot give this a 5 star rating) other than this, it’s all good, it’s a 4+… We rented the facility upstairs and ½ of the partial step down lounge leading to the outdoor balcony. The space was very easy to get to, it was clean, nicely decorated per the holiday season and very comfortable with plenty of room. I will say again, it was very nicely decorated(as seen in my photo’s), there was plenty of room for all our guests to dance and socialize and to be comfortable just sitting, eating and talking if they elected to do so. We brought in our own DJ which had enough space for the DJ’s equipment and dancing. We elected to purchase food that was set up on a buffet style table which included Cheese & Crackers, Vegetable & Fruit Platters and also Meatballs. We also elected to have tray passed appetizers from the R10 menu(beef and chicken skewers, bruschetta, crab cakes and some other dishes. Our guests all said they really enjoyed the food). Overall the night was fantastic, our host for the evening was«Tasha». She was very attentive and made sure everything was being handled throughout the evening! Renting and/or leasing a space/area comes with a cost, than you add food and beverage minimums(calculated per person), parking, etc… but, the overwhelming goid time, the memories and the good time we had this evening at R10 was«Priceless»…

Nice place. I stopped in for a life saving glass of wine and was convinced to try the Brick Chicken. It was excellent. Crispy skin, great flavor and still moist after adding the char. Great place.

Me+2 entered R10(all first timers) on New Years Day around 2:00 and was told it would be a 45 minute wait despite the lack of hustle and empty tables. After close deliberation we kindly accepted and grabbed a drink right next door at Naja’s Place. We receive a call accurately around the 45 minute range and are seated in a booth overlooking the harbor. By this time it is about 2:50 which means 10 minutes until happy hour and supposedly the transition to the dinner menu. After wrestling between the lunch menu and the dinner menu, the hostess and waitress inform us dinner actually starts at 5 on weekdays(in which today was Friday). Not a huge deal, it’s New Years everyone is a little jumbled. We ordered the whisky loaf which is free upon Unilocal check-in. I ordered the P.E.I. mussels which were generously served in a creamy and delicious Thai curry sauce. My sister ordered the Jidori chicken and waffles. The bold flavors of the chicken seemed to clash with the vanilla waffles(shockingly), but still good when eaten separately. My boyfriend ordered the catch of the day which was salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly and came with a celery root purée and potato hash. We also ordered a side a fries for the table because, why not? Speed of service was adequate. The marina and eucalyptus plant on the table could only ease your patience for so long. We had to remind the waitress to bring our whisky loaf. Our fries never made it to the table halfway through our meal so we ended up canceling those. We had a mystery charge of a Coor’s Light on our bill. Additionally, I have a double charge on my bank account today for two different prices. These little blunders reflects the 2-star review. Our waitress was very sweet and seemed knowledgable about the menu, but just could not remember our orders. The location, vibe, friendly service, and crisp menu are all(I must admit very good) distractors for a mediocre dining experience.

For a marina restaurant with plenty of potential, every part of the experience was off. Starting with the menu: It’s simple, but not in a cohesive way. R10 can’t seem to find it’s mix between gastropub fare and seafood. Pulled pork sliders, burgers, and a couple of fish options lend themselves to a very drab menu. The Brussels sprouts were overdone, my burger(ordered medium rare) was also overcooked, and the cheese was very undercooked. The oysters came with the mignonette already served on the shell and tubed out dollops of craime not so fresh. Overall, everything was very much less than mediocre. Our server however was very attentive and had good wine recommendations. Unfortunately the food didn’t live up to them.

Quick update: Those Pork Crackings I was gushing over in my previous review are no longer on the menu. Boo! Ordered the Old Bay potato chips. They should be called, Oh boy, too much fucking Old Bay !! The Old Bay flavor was so intense, so awful. I didn’t have more than a couple. And I regretted it because I couldn’t get that flavor out of my mouth. Wayyy too overpowering. Still with the uncomfortable bar stools upstairs although it looks nicer than it did previously. The live entertainment is always good. Got the free whiskey loaf with my Unilocal check-in. Came with rock solid butter. Seriously. Bartender Charley saw it and quickly nuked it for us. He was the best part of the visit here on Sunday. Oysters were fresh and the sauce was very good. The girl delivering the food is a little«out to lunch.» And of course, no bowl to put our shells. We just piled them on top of those god– awful chips. BRINGBACKTHEPORKCRACKLINGS !!!

R10 participated in this year’s Taste of the Pier event so I stopped in to try the pulled pork slider and apple fritter. I love the space of this restaurant. Modern and simple with a rustic feel. As for the food, the pulled pork was good but the bread used was SO dry! The apple fritter was okay. Not sure if I’ll be back.

When looking for a place to meet up with my cousins for dinner on a Saturday night around 8pm. I wanted to find a place with easy parking so that automatically eliminated Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach. I also wanted to ensure I could make a reservation so R10 with their $ 2 parking and online reservations was our winner. Yes, this part of Redondo can be sticky and fishy smelling, and on the particular night we came we had the added awesomeness of heat and humidity so I just pretended we were in Miami. The hostess seated us before our entire party had arrived which I loved and our server immediately took our order for cocktails and then revisited us when our party was complete. He was actually very attentive all night(and very cute!!! I attribute his hotness to the proximity to Naja’s Place read my review about Naja’s Place ) The décor is modern and inviting, but the acoustic in this place are terrible. It can get very loud. The highlight of the night for us wasn’t the food… nothing really wowed us in the food department, but we all loved our cocktails so I would recommend this place for cocktails!

Banana pudding was the best thing we had… Came here on day two, on a Tuesday evening, of our trip to LA. We were staying on Redondo Beach, checked out Unilocal and found this place. Our waiter, Charlie, was great. Good personality and very chatty, he was also the bartender upstairs. The atmosphere in here is rustic industrial, we loved it. They had some nice indie music playing. We sat upstairs just inside the outside patio since it was full, but it was a bit too chilly since it was after dark anyway with the breeze off the ocean. The drink menu is filled with the new hipster mixology, of which we weren’t impressive so we simply ordered Jack & Coke and(tried to order Crown & coke but they didn’t have crown) Kracken & coke. The drinks were strong, but the Kracken(cracken?) wasn’t very good. I ended up mixing it with my jack to prevent wasting $ and hubs stuck to his sprite. Hubs got the hangar steak and I got the scallops. Hubs didn’t like his, I actually loved mine. We were shocked at the portion size because it didn’t fill us up at all. Thankfully we used the free whiskey loaf offer on Unilocal-it filled us up and it was good! We also got the banana pudding-it was amazing. Not big enough tho, comes in a tiny jar, back to small portion sizes… All in all I probably wouldn’t come back here to eat when we return to Redondo. We would come back for a weekend night because the atmosphere is probably pretty cool to hang in and have drinks. We did have to pay to park and no reservations needed on a weeknight.

This place has a great location! The staff is super friendly, however they just don’t have enough of them for a Saturday! 1 bar tender, 1 bar/bus boy, 2 waitresses is just not enough for this place. We had a large party and got drink delivery once. The entire table had to make trips to the bar! The food is fabulous! I had the skillet, pork belly sweet potato hash, so good but a little too greasy! My vegan friend got a salad which was all they had, so small could not even have been a side. This is the only item they had. The burgers are great but come with chips! Fish n chips is good comes with fries. Bottom less mimosa never comes more than once! 3x tops not worth the money. The dessert item we tried is these hot donut holes that you dip in 2 sauces. Amazing Food came and plates never got cleared! Really bad service for water or cleaning tables. They need to work on some things but great food!

Soooooo. This review is based on one thing– HAPPYHOUR! I have never had an entrée here, never been for a sit down dinner, and haven’t had a chance to experience that aspect of this restaurant– Howeverrr I absolutely love their 4 – 7 Happy Hour! Happy Hour consists of a selection of craft cocktails, their draft beers, a red & a white wine and some delicious appetizers. The Moscow mule here is amazing they make it with their house made ginger beer and use a ginger garnish– really a great refreshing drink to beat this CA heat wave Food wise. I could eat two orders of their panko crusted olives, they stuff them feta cheese and are served with a delicious garlic aioli. Give me and order of those with a nice cold cocktail to wash it down and I’m a happy camper! The real reason you need to come here is for the ambiance. The space is absolutely gorgeous, dark wood interior, with a relaxed and welcoming vibe, the windows are huge and give you a beautiful view of the Redondo harbor. They also have an upstairs that has a second bar and an outdoor patio. Many reviews are not too crazy about the service, I’ve been here maybe 20 plus times and service can be sometimes fast sometimes slow, but the severs have always been attentive and sweet. I come here when I want to enjoy myself, relax with friends, and enjoy the environment. No rush here!

A great gastro pub at the RB Pier! We have enjoyed the view of the Redondo Beach Marina when we came here because it was around 7PM. Perfect spot to watch people too! Good-tasting cocktails and awesome food. I loved the R/10 Herb Garden and Campanilla Sour. Whiskey loaf was free with Unilocal check in!

First time here. Just had time for a happy hour drink and snack. $ 5 each. Not bad! It was during the week so the place was fairly empty. We had a choice between upstairs and downstairs and chose upstairs for the view. Very nice, overlooking the port(see photo). Drinks were good. I had the Margarita and my friend had a Moscow Mule. Both were good and strong but not too strong. Just right :-) We ordered the Brussel sprouts to share and they were awesome. Little bits of bacon were a nice touch and one portion was plenty for both of us. Would have gotten the chicken skewers but the one app was enough. The waiter was friendly and super attentive. He checked up on us just the right amount of times. Always good to have friendly service. Would I come here again? Maybe. I think I will try at least one other restaurant on the pier first just to keep the options open. This place is right at the beginning so they probably get a lot of people like us who were in a hurry and stopped at the first place they saw. But you never know! They could be the best!

This place is located at the opposite side of the Redondo Beach Pier from the Fish Markets. It is a 2 story business. You can eat on the entry level, or go upstairs to the bar/lounge area and eat. R10 got its’ name from the closest deep sea buoy. There is a banner outside that says this is a «Farm-to-table» place. Near the entrance, there is a wall of succulents as well as inside on the tables. We came here on a Sunday afternoon for lunch, a late lunch! We saw the Happy Hour sign, which said it was from 3PM to 6PM every day(Mon through Sun), so we were in luck, because it was 3:01PM! We decided to eat upstairs just inside the patio area. When there was a breeze, it was really nice and refreshing! We were brought a bottle of water and glasses pretty quickly. Our waitress, Ashley, was super attentive and friendly. She was also able to answer our questions and offer up a dessert at the end of the meal, which I didn’t see on the menus. We started out with a Moscow Mule and a Sabre-toothed Squirrel beer made by Smog City in Torrance. The Moscow Mule seemed really citrus-y and ginger-y, and I really wasn’t a fan of it, the way it was made here. The beer was somewhat bitter, or some other adjective I’m not sure of. I’m not a beer drinker, so I don’t know what I’m talking about! I only know if I like it or not, but not«why». All Happy Hour items are $ 5! Can’t beat that! Since we were eating HH items, we ordered: * Heaven Hill Whisky Loaf(not on the HH menu) — FREE You really must get this bread, it is heavy and very flavorful! It is served with honey butter that is perfect! * Mac-N-Cheese — the cheese is a white sauce. It is good and has plenty of sauce with the mac. * Jidori Chicken Skewers — I’d have to say they were a bit tough. Not sure if they were overcooked a tad or what. * P.E.I. Mussels — I wasn’t a huge fan of the mussels, but I really thoroughly enjoyed the Thai Curry Sauce! I certainly would eat the sauce over rice! It was THAT delicious! * Boardwalk Sprouts — «crispy melted brussel sprouts, lardons, caramelized onions, & malt powder». I devoured this dish! * Ice Cream Sandwich — the ice cream was cappuccino and the cookies were double chocolate fudge. Super rich and decadent! The plating was very pretty! The ice cream could have been a little more frozen(it was melting). The cookies were nice and chewy, so we were able to eat the sandwich with forks. We had a nice little date and enjoyed our lunch of appetizers! This was a good way to sample what the restaurant has to offer! I am sure this place comes to life and is hopping in the evening hours! The food and libations along with music will have many coming here!
