I found out about Pure Skin Science in Redondo Beach from an Amazon Local deal … it seemed like *too* good of a deal so I checked out their reviews for their other location in the OC and the rave reviews sold me. I also liked that they use organic, chemical free products and groovy new technologies like microcurrent, ultrasound and light therapy. I bought a package of three dermesonic skin rejuvenation treatments and off I went. I just had my second treatment with Justine today and Oh. My. God. First of all, you know how sometimes facials feel like they’re washing your face and then rubbing in a bunch of creams and you’re done? Not this one. It is the most thorough, unrushed, thoughtful facial I’ve ever had. I wish I could explain the dozen or so steps but from the skin polishing to the peeling toner to the microcurrents to the light therapy to the awesome serum that left me all dewy, I looked pretty damn good today. Plus, I napped after the massage portion. Bonus! After the first treatment(about 3 ½ weeks ago), two people who never say anything nice to me told me my skin looked better and what had I done? Of course I didn’t tell them because, whatever, they already look better than I do. But the point is, I’m 52. NOONE tells me my skin looks good. Ever. And now they do. Money well spent. I’m anxious to see if the second treatment brings all the boys to the yard but to be sure I’m maximizing my Amazon local deal, I’m splurging on their BioChem peel before I do my third Dermesonic Skin Rejuvenation treatment in a few weeks. Run, don’t walk. The new Redondo Beach location by the Peets/Chipolte corner or PCH and Ave G is easy to get to and parking is not a problem. If you’re on the fence, go look at their reviews for their other location and check some of the before and afters. Pretty awesome. Go anti-agers!

I have had 2 chemical peels and 7 of the non invasive face lift treatments and friends and colleagues are asking me what I’ve been doing. That I look younger, and refreshed. Think I will keep it up!
