***CLOSED*** As of the first weekend of the NFL season, this place is closed. No sign on the door, nothing. Heard that the new owner lost the liquor license for various reasons. What a shame. Desperately seeking another Bears bar.

This place has gone to hell in a hand basket. The new owner has run it into the ground. We have stopped by twice in the last month or so and they’ve been closed. I heard they lost their license but don’t know the detail. Used to be a great local spot. Sad that one person(owner) can ruin it for us all.

It was a fun place to watch sports, but unfortunately they recently closed down due to no valid liquor license. What a shame!

Fun place. Food is pretty decent I only had the potato skins. Drinks are good and the live band is extremely entertaining. Nice way to relax and have a little fun on a Sunday. Also our server Hillary was wonderful

Worst experience ever since the new owner took over! Never coming back again! What happened to the last owners?! Takes forever to get served now and what service you do get is worse than you’d get at McDonalds! Over priced, and just crap! Don’t waste your time or money coming to this spot.

If I could leave a minus 20 stars I would and it’s for the new management of this place and not the old management. One of the 5th grade parent at my daughter’s school had planned a graduation party there last year with no problem and we had one set for our kids this year. All of a sudden management changed and they’re saying they don’t allow kids party there anymore because it might disrupt the other patron That’s understandable if our party happens to be on Friday or Saturday night in the main dining room. However, the party was set for Monday afternoon on the outside patio. We now have 2 weeks to find a change of venue for over people. They lost out in $ 2000 — $ 3000. I will never go to this restaurant again and we are passing the word around to all the other parents in the area to do the same.

To be avoided at all costs. This place is under new ownership and I must say it has gone DOWNHILL fast! Last year, we dropped over $ 3000 for an 8th grade graduation party for my older daughter and had a WONDERFUL time. This year, we decided to have our son’s 5th grade grad party there as well. We contacted the gentleman who helped us last year and he was very accommodating, offering us the same patio as last year, with the same menu and pricing. We promptly sent out an email to the graduating class and have over 70 people ready to celebrate their kid’s graduation. Well, the wonderful manager we dealt with last year and to set this party up quit working there last week because of the new management. When I called to confirm with the new management«Matthew», he informed me that they do not allow kids parties there anymore! This is on a Monday afternoon in June — they are willing to not only walk away from $ 2000-$ 3000 for a few hours on a typically slow day in the afternoon, they are now putting me in a very precarious position having to relocate a party this large with less than 3 weeks notice! When I said«Oh, you don’t allow kids anymore?», he said yes they DO allow kids, but they just can’t have a party for kids. He said his«regular customers» might not want to see kids there. WTH? I guess that makes us «irregular». Their outside patio can’t even be seen by the patrons inside! This place deserves a NEGATIVE20 stars for their«new management» style of service and attitude. Additional observation: They allow DOGS, but not children – now that makes sense. I guess they are catering only to the dog owners of the area.

This place SUCKSNOW!!! I have been going to this place for years to watch games and grab a beer. But it’s now under«new management» and they have ruined everything good about this place. I use to enjoy coming here all for all sorts of events but now, i will never come back!!!

I wish there were something nicer and more creative in this spot. I never go because the food isn’t anything special and the fact that it has an OUTDOOR patio, the place thinks it’s being dog friendly by providing a grassy spot to tie up your dog while you get drunk. I’d never leave my dog alone where other strange people and dogs can approach anytime. Plus my dog is allergic to bees and the grass is full of clover. If you want to be truly dog-friendly, create an outside entrance and let people sit on the patio with their dog! There’s sure nothing fancy to ruin! No thanks… I just walk right by this place on my way to Baleen, where there’s better food and drinks, and you can sit outside with your best friend right next to you!

Oh my gosh. On the Rocks in Redondo got a new owner and a great make-over. Hung out there yesterday for the first time in a few months. It was getting so drab and rundown, but now it’s like someone breathed new life into that place. Very nice vibe. Sports etc inside. OUTSIDEPATIO(my new spot) beachy, casual and fun. Live music. Definitely going to become a regular

Semi divey/touristy bar in Redondo beach. My brother and I wanted to catch the Hawks playoffs game somewhere so we just wondered around and found ourselves here. They had a live cover band playing that brought energy and life for the people eating outside. My brother and I just sat at the bar and got some draft beers and ice cream. The ice cream was a little over priced considering it was just a scoop of ice cream with some chocolate syrup. We came around 3 so the place was pretty empty. Service was good– all of the waiters gave off a family knit vibe which was good to see.

Typical bar type place. Nothing too crazy. They have a lot of space both inside and outside and the décor is typical beach type. Nothing super fancy but not divey either. I have been here numerous times and usually have the same experience. Get a beer(Decent selection on tap, wish they would have more), order some food, and then hang out with friends or listen to one of the bands playing. The food isn’t too bad. It is pretty decent for a bar type place. Fries are a little soggy so if you like them crispy order them well done. Overall, it is your typical beach side bar. Nothing over the top and the wait staff are usually really friendly. Never had a bad experience here either.

I live a block from this place and decided to give it another shot, its been years since I’ve been here. Went here for Mon happy hour. The good: They added a little enclosed glass section outdoors for your dog! You can drop your dog off here while you have a drink or five inside. You can still keep an eye on your little pup in the outdoor area. They have a large outdoor patio that was great. The service was great, our waitress was really nice. The bad: The food… Oh the food. Ordered an appetizer sampler and everything tasted pretty bland. Believe me, I don’t have high expectations for bar food, but yech. That’s my word for it… yech. To put the icing on the cake, my bf and I woke up in the middle of the night with stomach pains(this was the last thing we ate). There’s supposedly a new owner, so hopefully this will improve the food. Go there for the pet-friendly dog area, happy hr drinks and great outdoor area.

Such a pleasant surprise! We were out for run and decided to pop in for breakfast. I had the breakfast burrito and it was very tasty. Tasted better than expected for being a sports bar. The burrito was filled with eggs, potatoes, cheese, and bacon. Also came with rice and refried beans. They had a patio that is amazing to sit out and soak in some vitamin D. The waitress wasn’t too familiar with the menu since she said she never works morning but was very nice. I would definitely come back!

Went for first time on a Wednesday night to hear Hound Dog Dave and the Mel-Tones. Glad to find Guinness on tap. Sat at the bar and Dave, the bartender, was very attentive and fast. The calamari was very good. Burgers looked good. Lots of TV’s to watch basketball, MMA, baseball. Very close to the sea wall so a walk before, during, or after is pleasant. If you want to see the Mayweather Pacquiao match, this would be a good place to watch sports. The staff was friendly, helpful and alert. Music starts after Happy Hour and the Happy Hour menu is a great value. A return trip is in order.

Service was really slow and we had to ask twice for water and twice for silverware. We were hungry so we asked to see a menu. Now I get this is a bar but if you have a full two-page menu of food, I will review you based upon the food. Despite being 80 feet from a fish market, despite having a menu that is heavily orientated on FISH. It is boxed. The fish and chips came right out of some pre-packaged commercial package, dumped in a fryer and brought to our table. So were the fries. So were the onion rings. We paid $ 25 for the two of us for a meal that would have cost at most $ 10 if we went to the grocery store and gotten the exact same thing that they had stocked their freezer with. My apple cider was also luke warm at best. ew. Walk across the parking lot to ANYTHING else.

The last time I was here was for super bowl 2015 We did’nt reserve a table so we walked in found a table it was to big so we decided to move so we asked one of the waistress if a smaller table was available and she said yes so we’re there like 35 mins already when another waistress said this table is reserved and you guys need to find somewhere else to sit so me and my baby looked at one another like WTF?! her ugly ass could have asked nicely instead of being ao rude and found us another seat so we frowned her off then she went and told the bartender to come and say the same thing so we just said fuxx it and left. We were regulars at OTR but not any more they can SUCKITLITERLLY.
