Mr. Handyman Serving South Bay

Out of about 6 items on my to-​do list, the contractor sent to us from Mr. Handyman accomplished 4 before leaving our house. I didn’t realize before he left that one of the main items on my list wasn’t touched. Also, after a week, a small install was loose and falling off. The most frustrating part was that the tech (who arrived 20 min late) tried to get paid for extra time.
I appreciate some of the items on my list were finished, but not happy that we paid as much as we did and not everything is done. We need to call another handyman service

Mr. Handyman is a rip off and would never use him again. Do no use these people. They are unethical.

I have been looking for a replacement handyman recently. I joined Abbies List and found Mr. Handyman. They were great from start to finish!
I called over the weekend, and Christie the customer service person called apologizing for calling on Monday (but the message even stated their hours M-​F … but nice touch).
Danny came and I showed him what I wanted done. He got started and then came back to ask questions and get clarification on what I asked. He showed me how he could really do it better another way (I agreed), and off he went.
On one project (replacing a board on my deck), he also told me ALL my options. But also suggested a few other things. In the end he kindly patched it with some material, and agreed to discuss doing more later.
With Angie’s List there was a $ 25 off coupon for the first visit, and they also take credit cards!
