The iced coffee and«mochaccino«iced beverage dispensers have the thickest fungus growth I have ever seen. I accidentally drank it and realized i had something chunky in my mouth. What I was able To hack back up, I have pictures of; It’s color is the most vile shade of green and Is slimy. I was mortified. When I told the staff they laughed and scoffed at me … I was told«don’t drink the coffee then » when I brought the matter to their attention. What sort of establishment talks to their customers like that. I don’t know how sick ill get from drinking that. It’s not like its kombucha and I dunno if that’s backyard penicillin lol But at the moment, I do feel my stomach is upset and I feel very nauseous

The sign said $ 2.29 for regular but the pump charged me $ 2.37. Isn’t that illegal? Then I saw the smaller sign on the ground that shows separate prices for cash and credit. OK, so maybe with the fine print, it is technically legal but the deceptive advertising and the extra charge really irritates me.

I am actually very surprised to read some of these bad reviews about the service station and Ben. So I had to add my own experience. Our family has been taking all of our cars here for 12 years(total of six domestic and imported cars) and Ben is one of the most honest mechanics around and I had the pleasure of dealing with a lot of them! He tells you straight out if a problem is outside of his expertise or not. Anytime he said he can take care of something, he always did. And he has always been very professional and pleasant. We have driven there with no appointments and these guys are obviously busy, but still take the time to stop and talk to us. So for anyone to keep going back to the same mechanic, with so many around, says a lot about the experience.

Cars drive in but they must be towed out. If I could give this –100 stars, that still would not cover the damage done to my vehicle. I DROVEINTO this station to get my car to pass a smog test by replacing the catalytic converter. I had to get my car TOWEDOUT because of the mechanic’s incompetence. My car was car towed to a dealership to fix what Ben at Doug’s mobil broke. i $ 720 spent at this trap — $ 80 to diagnose(incorrect diagnosis of why my car failed a smog test I might add) — $ 640 to replace a catalytic converter and now my car won’t start at all. The worst part about this experience is that Ben the mechanic would not take any responsibility for his making my car unable to start at all. Look my car is not brand new, but I have been using it to commute to and from work reliably for years. But after 1 day in this automotive«chamber of horrors», my car won’t start and Ben will not take any responsibility — he even had the audacity to point blame at me for«backing up his schedule». I called Ben on 4 days INADVANCE to make an appointment so that he would adjust his schedule accordingly(the purpose of making an appointment is to RESERVE the time needed to perform the repair). Ben and the owner of this trap are guilty of greed — This place will not turn any work away even if they are unqualified and unfit to fix the repair. Never go to a gas station or so called«certified» smog facility at a gas station. BUYERBEWARE!!! Update: 8÷3÷15 I took my auto to the dealer to ensure that it will be repaired without further damage. Estimate provided by Acura Dealer to fix the damage done: $ 1200. So by allowing Doug’s Mobil to perform a smog repair, it ended up costing me $ 1920, this does not include the cost of the rental(another $ 250) while my car is under repair. If you ever even think about going to Doug’s Mobil(Ben and his henchman) for service, you after reading this review, you must be certifiably insane. DONOTEVERTAKEYOURAUTOMOBILETODOUG’s MOBILFORANYSERVICE!!! BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!!

Highly recommendable !!! Came in for a tune up and brakes for my Mercedes, saved soooooo much money !! And yes, I’m a girl and I did not feel in any way I got taken advantage because of this. So I decided to kill some time and wait for my car to be fixed. I actually was shocked to see how clean and nice the restroom is maintained, and the coffee is and also the best tasting coffee to be served at a gas station. When I got my car back, I realized that I had left a large amount of cash and my watch plus my iPad just laying there and it was all there, I only mention this because of the one review some guy mentioned about his«quarters ». I will no longer take my car to the dealership and will be faithful to this spot !!! Love it

I’ve been bringing my truck here for years. They are always able to fix in a timely fashion for reasonable rates.(You get what you pay for) diagnostic isn’t free but the cost is applied to repair. All the cashiers have worked there for a while and all know my usual order by heart(2 packs red 100s a 16 oz coke and 20 $ on # 8) This is the only shop I trust my truck to after 20 years of service here(recommended by previous owner she still runs great). I’ve taken my wife’s car elsewhere with less than desirable results. Jesus, Bashir, arif, both Mohammed’s and Maria do a great consistent job! There’s no where else I go now. Especially since the head mechanic was able to fix a rpm issue the 3 Chevy dealerships I visited were unable to fix.(Car was still under warranty). Two hrs later my baby was as good as new. Love you guys.

Not my usual stop for gas but I was on empty so I had no choice… coffee was not the best. Average gas prices though.

This is an on par gas station to most, not cheap, but is convenient at Artesia @ Inglewood. I noticed in the end of March 2014, they put a sign on the street with the gas prices that didn’t match what was on the sign above, so I think with gas prices flucuating, they don’t update the big sign, so be wary of that. Also, take note, they’ve converted into the new gas marketing of having a «Cash» price and then a «Credit» price, usually about $ 0.10 a gallon more for using a Credit Card. There’s a Chevron gas station on 2118 Artesia @ Ringe, which also has a drive through car wash that if often times the same price per gallon if not usually cheaper which is a few blocks away.

My truck wouldn’t pass smog, and Aloha Smog recommended these guys for the repair. So i took it in, and spent $ 80 for the diagnosis, and had ‘em do an oil change while i was there as well. A few days later, i go into my center console to grab my checkbook and notice all my stuff’s been rummaged through! Nothing was missing, so I didn’t get too upset. Today, i finally take it back in to get the repairs done for it to pass smog. A few hours after picking it back up, with the smog cert, I go into my center console to grab my checkbook, and AGAIN all my stuff’s been rummaged through, and I mean completely turned upside down and inside out. Just a mess… THEN I noticed ALLMYQUARTERSANDSILVERCHANGEAREGONE!!! And i know EXACTLY how much I had sitting there, because I had JUST thrown $ 3 in quarters in my cup holder the other day, for the parking meters to go surf, but luckily found some street parking and never used the quarters. Even before leaving my truck overnight with these guys, i remember thinking to myself, should i grab those quarters just in case… and sure enough, someone stole em. I called Ben over there immediately, and explained my concern. And he did NOT seem like someone who was just wrongly accused of theft, in fact he seemed exactly like someone who was guilty and felt stupid for getting caught stealing $ 3. If it were ME who was just wrongly accused, i would’ve put up a huge fight for my innocence, and as a good business owner, i would’ve immediately offered to reimburse the stolen change, and promise that I’d look into what may have happened. But no… his attitude was ‘i dunno what to tell you, sorry’. Bullshit, I’ll NEVER take my vehicle to these guys NOR get gas, water, ANYTHING from the store. AND best believe I’ll tell every single person I know, even people i DON’T know, just how fuckin shady these guys are over there. Insulting to have just charged me $ 300 for repairs and smog, to then go and take 3 more dollars in quarters, you asshole. Hope the 3 bucks was worth it, Ben.

BEWARE!!! I’ll never go there for any work… or gas for that matter. When I drove my 4Runner in for a smog check, all seemed normal. After waiting a few minutes, I was told by the Mobile station’s mechanic that it didn’t pass the smog check, was running rough at idle and the«check engine» light was«on» to boot — he said to leave the car and he would fix whatever was wrong. Funny, the car was running smoothly with no «check engine» light when I drove up. I went back to the place that last worked on the car and they showed me where a vacuum hose had been disconnected and tucked behind some other engine hoses. Thanks to the George’s Automotive mechanic(on 190th in Torrance) for reconnecting that hose — which turned the dash warning off. I went back to the Mobile station guy and argued a while, but left in disgust. This happened last year, but I just started doing the Unilocal thing. Just want to warn people…

These guys are trustworthy… seriously! Over the past 10 years, they’ve never BS’d me or my husband. As a matter of fact, they’ve talked my husband out of unnecessary repairs and additional costs on a few occasions. It’s so wonderful when you can trust your mechanic! :)
