Small bakery with limited options but they all look tasty. I had a chocolate croissant and a creampuff. The lady took the creampuff to the kitchen to pump in the cream so it was very fresh! The chocolate croissant was also very good because it wasn’t too oily or sweet. Service was ok. Both items equaled $ 6, kinda high given the items. Not too many tables inside for hanging out with friends, looks to be a «come and go» type place. Small parking lot, but ample street parking on PCH or Avenue E. Krust is tucked in the back of the small plaza. I probably won’t go out of my way to try this place again, but if I were near by, I’ll give them another try.

Incredibly fresh and HOTT! Got there right when it opened. Staff was sweet and accommodating. Had a raspberry filled donut and also a cinnamon sugar, both unreal! Pricey and not too many options but worth it for the quality

We ordered two large strawberry rhubarb pies and they were fantastic! They were still warm when I picked them up. We highly recommend this local bakery!

Soon so good. Went this morning for coffee and treats. The coffee is decent, nothing fancy. If you want fancy coffee you need to go to a coffee shop. The pastries are what you need to go there for. We tried ALL the donuts, and a ham and cheese roll. Gimme those donuts. Owners are super friendly and new to owning a business it seems.

This was one of the most strange and uncomfortable coffee houses I have ever been! The owner came out of back room after 5 min and said he did not have brew coffee so would you like a latte? no real choice, so we said sure than we purchased a cookie bundle which looked really good, we sat down and 2 minutes later he said we are going to close in five minutes!!! The worst part he then threw all the left over bakery goods in the trash? Really? Really terrible and wasteful, do not go it is really a bad way to treat people.

My new favorite Coffee shop! I stumbled across Krust one day after my workout class, which is in the same plaza. I was pleasantly surprised by their carmel lattes… so good. Everything is made in-house and is delicious. Even my husband love’s their coffee and he’s pretty picky ;)

Not too impressed. I ventured out to Krust one Saturday afternoon to try their Chocolate mousse and lemon bar, but they were sold out by 2pm. That’s fine, those are popular treats here, so I got the bacon and chive scone to go. The scone was tasty but pretty dry. Also at $ 3.50 I thought it was kind of pricey for what it was. I didn’t like how the store doesn’t post the prices on the baked goods and the lady behind the counter didn’t really know how much they were either. She had this bad«I don’t really want to be here» attitude the whole time and was not too helpful. At least there was ample free parking in the lot.

You will find the most delicious morning delights, breads, and special desserts at Krust! Better get there early before the donuts, pecan bars, lemon squares, bacon & chive scones disappear !

I had Moscato & yuzu ice tea and bacon & chive scone. Both were amazing. This tiny place is easy to miss, so if you’re around redondo beach try it out! Only down side is they don’t have wifi and I wish the small size drink was a little bigger haha

I drive pass this plaza several times a week, and I finally stopped by to try it last week. I got a bacon chive scone and an iced coffee. The scone was delicious. It was super flavorful and very buttery. I love savory scones, and this guy definitely hit the spot. 4 stars for the scone. The cold brew coffee was disappointing. It was super watered down and bland. The cold brew across the street at Phanny’s is WAY better. I will definitely not be getting coffee here again. Service was great. The lady behind the counter was super nice and friendly. I’ll come back if/when I’m craving a good pastry and not coffee.

Despite my extreme laziness, I’m writing a review for this coffee shop/bakery because it totally deserves every single one of the five stars I’m leaving it. I had my reservations about this place when I parked the car because it was hidden in the corner of a random strip mall in redondo beach. I am SO glad that I didn’t turn around and leave because everything about this place is delightful. My party ordered an americano, cappuccino, and vanilla latte, along with a bacon and chive scone, pecan bar, and coffee cake. It was sooooo difficult to make our choices with the pastries because everything looked sooo delicious. We drank every single drop of the coffee and enjoyed every single bit of it. The only mishap was that I had ordered a vanilla latte and they forgot the vanilla. The pastries were equally nommy! I expected the coffee cake to be dense, but it was super light with the perfect punch of coffee flavor. The pecan bar and scone were also very good! I can’t wait to go back and try the other pastries! All of the pastries are made in house according to the person who I believe is the owner of this shop. The employees were so cute and sweet… although, when there was a flurry of customers, they did appear a bit flustered. Still, not much to complain about here. I will surely be back, and encourage everyone to keep supporting this neighborhood gem.

I am sorry to have to leave this review but it’s the truth. I was in search of bakery to bake my wife a birthday cake. I found«Krust» in redondo from searching on safari. The place was clean, the lady who helped me was very nice. I needed a cake for 20 people, she only could make a cake for 10 so I bought two cakes,$ 90 total. I asked for one chocolate and strawberry and one vanilla and strawberry, very simple. She said ok no problem. When we cut into the cake neither one was strawberry, just plan vanilla. After I told everyone what I thought we were having, strawberry, which is what my wife asked for. I apologize for writing this but that’s not right. $ 90 down the drain.

Nice coffee shop serves yummy baked goods. Light rolls, croissants, coffee cakes and donuts(like malasadas). New, quaint, quiet in the mornings. Friendly staff. Clean. Wish the menu was more diverse. 2 months old with room to improve.

;krust is a new bakery on PCH, tucked into a shopping enter between a pilates studio and nail salon. While it is easy to miss, it is worth hunting down! Every thing is made in house, fresh, daily. The results are outstanding and well prepared desserts and pastries that are worth the trip. Yoonjung is friendly and welcoming, and her baked goods deliver a smile. We had: Croissant($ 2.25): Rich, buttery and flakey, this croissant is very authentic and does not need any sort of spread. Delicious! I look forward to trying the almond croissant. Chocolate Mousse Cake($ 3.95): 3″ long by 1.5″ wide, this delightful layer cake is composed of excellent chocolate cake with light and fluffy whipped chocolate mousse and finished with a dusting of cocoa powder. The chocolate used is obviously excellent quality — you will not be disappointed by this one. Lemon Bar($ 3.75): 3″ long by 2″ wide, this flakey crust is filled with fresh, sweet and tangy lemon curd and finished with fresh meringue that is lightly toasted. The crust at first appears to be a heavy shortbread crust, but it is not — the light and flakey crust does not overwhelm this little tart. Carrot Cheesecake($ 3.75): 3″ long by 1.5″ wide, this is the most surprising dessert. It is a light carrot cake topped with whipped, fluffy cheesecake that has a hint of tang. OMG! Delicious! I am not a cheesecake fan, but I love carrot cake, so I tried this. I am so glad that I did. I loved it, and it was DH’s fave. Alas, I cannot pick a favorite because everything was so delicious. However, I will definitely be back. If you are not taking things with you, you can take a seat at one of their fun mod chairs around butcher block tables and enjoy the light streaming in the floor to ceiling windows. They serve coffee and tea beverages, and credit cards are accepted.

This bakery makes everything from scratch. The pastry chef is classically trained and puts a unique twist on traditional products. Some of the items they have are homemade granola bars, bacon and chive scones and ginger cookies made with fresh ginger. They have an expresso machine and make specialty coffees to order. Give it a try.
