It’s my first time doing my own gel nails, Yuriko was very helpful, she guide me each step of the way. I’ve learned a lot of how to do nails in the right way. Even though it took my 110 min, I enjoyed it, their materials are very good quality, and a lot more options, most importantly, the price is good! I will definitely go back there again to get my nails done!

Very interesting concept. You do your own nails and use their materials and they charge you by the first hour and each additional 15 min. It was a nice experience, they advise you as you are doing your nails so you learn some tips and tricks along the way.

This is an amazing place to go to if you are looking for a long-​lasting manicure! I’m so hooked on gel nails, and going to a salon is too expensive to go to. And the polishes they use are so harsh on my nails. Gellipop is an amazingly creative place where I can get a long-​lasting gel manicure without the expensive cost that a regular salon will charge. The color choices are endless and the designs are limited as far as my imagination will let me. Just check out the nail art magazines they have laying out on their table! Its amazing!
I urge you to go and try Gellipop at least once, but please be cautious when you take off the long-​lasting gel polish, it can be a bit tricky. I am sure Yuriko, the owner of Gellipop, will help you if you have any questions. Yuriko has found an unique new nail trend of DIY Gel Manicures! Yuriko is very thorough when it comes to teaching beginners how to create your very own gel nails.
I’ve taken my daughters multiple times and they have always come out of the salon happy with their manicures. They do their own and they are always eager to show their friends at school the next day!
I don’t think I will ever go to any other salon ever again! GELLIPOP ROCKS!

Yuriko takes such care of you! She gives you step by step instructions that are easy to follow. The hardest part is deciding on a color and what embellishments you want to add. Yes, you can do just a solid color, but why not dress up your nails when Yuriko is right there to help you along the way!

Gellipop creates an environment for creativity to kick in. All the colors, brushes, stickers, glitters, stones, and more are all available; and Yuriko’s 20 + years of experience provides great guidance even for a beginner like me. I’ve been here multiple times, and the furniture and goodies just keep on getting better :)
The pricing is based on how much time is spent; when I think about it, every time I visit Gellipop, I am getting much better and quicker. Yes, all beginners must start somewhere!

Came to this salon about 3 – 4 times now, but when I first went to Yuriko’s nail salon (Gellipop) I was taken away by surprise that you are in charge of doing your own nails! The concept was very different than the other Japanese nail salons in town. The pricing varies by how much time it take for you to do your nails yourself. The gel polish (virtually odorless) that Yuriko let you use (at the salon only) is sold to professional nail artists exclusively. She doesn’t do acrylic nails so her salon doesn’t have that chemical odor like other salons. She will walk you through every step of the way to help you achieve the nail design you want! When you’re ready to remove your gel nails she will teach you how to remove them via «soak off» method. Yuriko is also very knowledgeable on how to care for individuals with dry brittle nails like myself.
If you don’t mind the commute to the salon. Enjoy doing your nails especially gel and want to decorate as much as possible for a low price too, then I definitely recommend it! Best of all no need to pay tip since you’re doing your own nails. In addition, you don’t need an appointment and Yuriko will work with you on an first come first serve basis.

I love this do-​It-​yourself gel nail place! I just went to Gellipop for the first time today and I will keep going back! I was looking for a way to have nice looking nails without the ongoing expense of going to a nail salon every 2 – 3 weeks. This is a walk-​in salon so you don’t need an appointment. Yuriko taught me every step of the way — first demonstrating on one finger and then watching me as I did the rest. It was very easy, my nails came out looking fantastic, and it was much cheaper and more convenient than a traditional nail place. Yuriko’s salon is well decorated, very clean and spacious, and she has an endless selection of colors and nail decorations. Just what I was looking for.
