I came in here a while ago because my hard drive wasn’t getting recognized by my computer and I wanted some simple ideas. The guy at the counter didn’t seem to want to help at all unless I put out some money. I know it’s a business but how hard is it to give me some advice. You might have luck with this place but I don’t trust them here.

I can’t recommend these guys enough. I’ve had nothing but professional fast service from them. They always answer all my questions in a language I can understand. They’ve helped get me out of a jam more than once. Highly recommended.

I’ve been using Computer Geeks for a little over a year now with various Mac computers I own for my small business. I’m always impressed with he friendly customer service of the counter staff and field staff. They have fixed my slow computers, upgraded hard drives, and have performed some pretty complicated networking work in my home and office locations. They’re able to fix my security cameras, fix a multi access point wifi network, and fix various other network problems I’ve had. I think these guys are GREAT and are staffed with knowledgable career minded gentlemen (as opposed to part time/‘don’t care’ type kids).

The guys that work here are quite nice, but they did a terrible job for me. I brought in an older PC laptop and wanted to clean up disk space and install anti-​virus software. They gave me a free anti-​virus software and recommended that I increase Ram, which I did. Unfortunately the Ram sticks I bought from them were used and corrupted and completely screwed up my computer. Rather than spend more on repairs, I eventually tossed the laptop.

OMG!!!, I have to say this: This guys are the BEST!!!
I have been coming here for the last four years and let me tell you that this guys are not after your money. They are the most honest people. I went to STAPLES because they said it was free to do a tune up on your computer. Well, after they told me that it had a virus, it was going to cost me $ 150.00 to fix it. I said hummmmm, let me try CGeeks again. The guy was sooooo kind to try something and he just fixed it right there. It was just a couple of clicks and that was it!!! I tried to pay him but he would not take my money. I will never, ever try to swallow the FREE hook. AWSOME GUYS!!!

I received an e-​mail from the owner saying that he was sorry I was treated this way. I e-​mailed him back and left my phone number. HE called and we had a nice talk. I was amazed that someone would care what was said about their business. I am impressed.
I am going to bring my iMac to their Redondo Beach store and have them do a check up.

Computer Geeks is a fantastic service! I was having issues with my ThinkPad laptop. Tim was very courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. He was able to diagnose and fix the problem right away. I highly recommend Computer Geeks.

Best thing about this place is they can handle my windows machines and my wife’s Macs which is huge for me. These guys do it all… repairs, networking, sales and with great service… Also, they have been in the same location for a long time (seems like at ten years).so I always know where to find them… Thanks Geeks!

If i could give a zero, i would. This place is terrible!!! I asked to plug in a vid card to one of their computers to see if it will do the same thing as it does in mine. Something that will take 5 min! The guy tells me he wants $ 85! When I offer him $ 20 he sneers at me and proceeds to lecture a businessman on running a business! I know now why the store was completely empty and I’m not surprised.

I dropped off my computer and laptop after new year since my computer and laptop got infected by virus and spyware. They took it for about two weeks to fix it (They told me they have to install a new hard drive to fix both my laptop and my computer) I told them that it is okay to install the new hard drive on my laptop, but not on my computer because I have pictures and other files that I want to keep. when I got it back, laptop was fine but there were still viruses on my computer… I guess people who run this store are not computer geeks after all…

Dropped off my computer after my hard drive failed, they require a $ 85 initial deposit for them to diagnose computer problem. Next day they told me hard drive was indeed dust so after I ok’d the repair they replaced my hard drive for $ 85/​hour with 1.5 hours labor (this includes the initial deposit) and parts $ 100 for new hard drive. Computer came back like new, happy with their service will do business again with them
