Horrible. Just trust me. I don’t expect much from a BK but this one is really weak. It’s not so much the quality of the food. It’s more the weak service. Really bad. Frustrating. Stay away.

Clinton L mentioned that this place is closed and demolished. It’s probably true. I was there few weeks ago while it was still open. Place did look rundown. Kitchen seemed under staffed. Wait was long and two soda fountain machines were broken. One was only giving out ice and another was only giving out soda. My favorite BK location at intersection of Crenshaw and 182nd closed down and I’ve been dying to eat at BK until I found this location which is 2nd closest location from my work. I’m totally disappointed, no more BK for me.

Three stars. I find it difficult to try and write a review for a fast food joint that is no different than your typical place. The restaurant is slightly outdated, the drive thru is difficult to get to if you don’t come in the correct of their 4 driveways, staff is typical fast food restaurant staff, food is typical fast food quality. Nothing to see here, folks. If you’re hungry and crave Burger King, it satisfies that craving. Otherwise, I can think of better places to eat.

I walked in and waited in line. As soon as it was my turn, I showed the cashier for a free ice cream cone and she said no, we don’t take it. She said we got an email that saids not to take any coupon for free ice cream cone. The lady had a rude voice and did not say it in a kind voice. This place has bad customer service. Will not come here. This place sucks.

This is a convenient Burger King location, I think it’s a franchise. It has a different look and feel than most Burger King restaurants. I think it at one point had a bad reputation since I did notice there was a «New Management» sign proclaiming some sort of changing of the guard in 2013. Burger King does some frequent couponing, and at one point, this location would accept expired coupons as well as give you back your coupon to reuse again, honoring the discounted prices, so were putting forth an effort to get repeat business. They’re running a 2 for $ 5 sandwich deal on the fish, chicken or beef items, which is a great deal, as of March 2014. It feels like this location once had a bad reputation and isn’t supported by the neighborhood community much, so when you go in, it’s a bit dark feeling and empty looking. I think they’re trying to re-establish themselves and earn back customers. I’ve never had issues here, so think it’s worth giving this location a chance if you are craving fast food. There’s not another Burger King in the immediate area. There’s a McDonald’s up Artesia near Sepulveda as well as off Aviation at Manhattan Beach Blvd. There’s a Jack in the Box off of Aviation going towards PCH/Sepulveda. There’s a Carl’s Jr on Artesia a few blocks North of Burger King as well as a Wienerschnitzel on Aviation across from the South Bay Galleria Mall. So, there’s a lot of fast food options locally. Parking is easy, they have a lot. They also have a drive through to order as well. The service was friendly.

This BK changed management recently. We used to hate this location. But the last few times I have been through the Whoppers have been very tasty. Particularly late night snacks. The veggies were fresh tasting and fries hot and crispy. I can’t comment too much on other things on menu as we usually just go for whoppers. But this is one of the few fast food places near us that my wife actually likes to get food from. I’ve dined inside once, and while the interior is nothing special and a little run down, it was clean. Also I was particularly impressed when we ordered soft serve with our meals, and they offered to wait till we were done to serve it up so it didn’t melt. Very nice touch. Fresh veggies might not be what people are looking for at fast food, but it makes our day when we pickup whoppers here.

About 10 years ago, Burger King Corporation made a promise to the Food and Allergy groups and Vegan Groups that they would provide updated accurate information at all locations with ingredients in order for customers with these needs to be able to review and make proper choices… they continued to state«we will make it your way…» Well, Redondo Beach BK on Artesia not only is not educated in this field, they refuse to accept the order in which we needed to make the order allergy free(simply a different bun then the chicken sandwich normally has) them trying to explain to the VERYRUDE Marta cashier, that their is a difference in the ingredients, she felt as if I was wasting her time,(no one was in line) asked for the ingredient sheet they promised they would have available, was given nutrition sheet that only has calories on it, asked for the ingredient sheet from manager, he pointed to the nutrition sheet. Tried to download the information my self, would not down load, asked for cooperate number, she gave me South Gates number, asked again, and she said«OHYOUWANT Cooperate?» as she giggled and laughed with the other employee and the manager. Then they said There look, its on that poster… hahahah…stepped outside, called cooperate, only to spend 20 minutes giving out my life info and never receiving a call back. Called again, «oh, sometimes you have to give them a week to call you? So the B.K. should not stand for Burger King, it should stand for Bankruptcy, because with this type of disrespect, from your employees, and lack of training on serious matters, that is where you are going to end up. No more chances… and do not try to get business from by telling the Food and Allergy networks that you are Allergy friendly, sending the boycott out today.

On our way home my wife says she’s creaving a whopper. «I got your whopper right here,» I said as I pointed at my pants(lol) but still we made our way to BK. We hit the drive thru and it was a straight forward process. We ordered one meal plus a chicken sandwich with fries and a sundae, we were quoted about $ 16, but when we got to the window, I was charged $ 13.XX. I looked at the receipt and saw I had been charged for the wrong order. After waiting for about 5 minutes, the manager peeks his head out and asks me what I ordered. I mentioned that I had my receipt and was likely billed for the wrong order and he gave me this deer in the headlights look but just confirmed what I was waiting for. A few minutes passed and we finally had our food. We waited for about seven minutes in the drive thru for our food. I can see where the complaints come from, that’s a long time to wait for fast food. But our food was tasty and consistent with BK quality so it’s A-OK in my book.

Still serving the Angry Whopper. Not only that, but also served the best angry whopper I’ve ever had. Bacon was crispy. Sandwich was perfect.

I made the mistake of going back here. I asked for a veggie burger and medium fries. The girl asked if I wanted the meal combo and I asked the price difference. What should have been a ten second exchange turned into a 4 minute«Who’s on first» ordeal. She told me the price difference between a small and a medium. I said«No, how much is it with the drink?» I got the answer to the difference between a small combo and a small fry and veggie burger. She told me the size difference. She told me what was in the combo. She told me everything BUT the price difference between a veggie burger with medium fries and a veggie burger with a medium fry and drink. It took the manager coming over and telling me the price difference. I should have just left. So then I ordered a caramel sundae. «Ok, what size caramel frappé?» Do yourself a favor. Find a different Burger King.

Twice this placed messed up on my order. I was given the wrong sandwich on one occasion(I ordered a double whopper and was given a Jr. whopper) and the second time the wrong drink(ordered ice tea was given a coke) plus no ketchup for my fries. Won’t be coming back there for my lunches anymore.

Pull up to the drive thru: «Can I take your order?» «Sure, a Whopper and large fries please» «Do you want the meal?» «Nope, just the whopper and large fries» «Ok, so that’s a whopper and a medium coke, will that be all?» «Are you serious bro? lemme pull up» Working the drive-thru might not be the best position for him. Maybe he should be given a shot at helping in the kitchen instead since it took almost 10 minutes to get my food w/nobody ahead of me. The food tasted aight, so I can’t give 1 star even though I want to.

Summary: Unless you like incompetent service, your order being screwed up and an icee with an onion aftertaste don’t go to this Burger King. I am trying to make fast food less of a habit, however, I am just recovering from a cold and there is nothing in the house to eat. Since this Burger King is close I decided to grab a burger and fries through the drive-thru. Big mistake! I kept it simple and ordered a BK minis meal. They asked me if I wanted burger or chicken I stated clearly burger. Upon receiving my order and leaving the drive-thru, I took a sip of my Coke Icee and it had straight-up weird onion after taste(yuck!). Since I had a bit of lingering code I didn’t want to totally chalk it up to their fault. So I took it back and asked for a regular coke instead stating that it had a weird aftertaste. After leaving, I got back home and then noticed that my minis were chicken and not burger! Seriously burger sounds nothing like chicken! This is a real problem because something about their fried chicken patties give me serious stomach issues so I NEVER order them anymore. I am seriously pissed now! Now I have to go back and ask them to change them. I go back put the bag on the counter and simply tell the girl«burger not chicken» She takes the bag without apology says something in Spanish and after waiting a few MORE minutes they give me the right order. No apology is offered and the manager is right there privy to the whole thing. What kind of horrible service is that?! From now on, I will avoid this place like the plague and you should too.

My coworker mentioned she wanted to try the Stuffed Steakhouse Burger with the jalapeño and cheese in the meat. It interested me too, so I offered to buy her lunch today. She’s a hard worker and deserves a free lunch every now and then. Little did she know, I had the mailer with the buy one meal and get a free burger coupon. hehehe. The meat is really dry and cooked well done. You need more dressing on the burger to moisten it up. I don’t dare to ask for that burger medium pink in the middle. The fries have some kind of flour coating on them to help them stay crisp. It’s not a good fry. The AYCD soda fountain is probably the best part of this meal. So, the stuffed burgers are something that I think will not last. I won’t be trying them again.

Depending on what you order will determine the wait time. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich which took almost 12 minutes at the window waiting which defeats the«fast food» convenience. The food was good, however, you need to ask them for condiments otherwise they will not give you any.

The good news is that this Burger King is just like every other Burger King. The drive-through people seem nice. When I have special requests(half-fries, half-onion rings) they usually get it right. The bad news is that about a year ago I ate a burger and felt like I just couldn’t taste the beef. So I actually peeled back the bun to take a look at the meat. You could see evenly-spaced dots — injection sites — every inch or so. After reading a book, Fast Food Nation, I believe I understand what those are. The trick to getting meat to taste the same every time is that all fast-food companies buy the beef in large quantity, mechanically and chemically remove the color and taste, and then put the color and taste back in(chemically) while monitoring the process so they get just the right color, and just the right taste. In theory, this is still beef. But mine just wasn’t tasty. Overall, if you like Burger King, this location is just fine. But no matter what they do to the beef, their onion rings are awesome.

I know some people that like burger king but I do not know why. The hamburger meat has no flavor and the fries are made with something other than potatoes(at least they do not taste like potatoes).
